@@stayfreshproductions Thank you so much I really appreciate you a lot . I’m under medication since 2019 I hope they will help me at some point. Yes i really love your channel 🙏🏻🫶🏻
Wow. You have one of the most exclusive, creative and artistic cologne collection for men that I have ever seen! I took notes. Thanks, Danny. #menscologne
I love this type of video. Perfumes and smells are very personal and tend to lean toward certain personality traits. It comes down to how an aroma makes one feel. I think you did an awesome job describing the aspects of personalities and how they can overlap each other.
Just recently discovered you via YT's algorithm. Almost didn't click but I was looking for an alternative to my usuals so I gave you a try. You are exactly what I was looking for. Cool, calm and collected and not too energetic. I like it.
Love this video. Exited for the hunt, as in South Africa much much less fragrances are easy to come buy. Still fun trying to hunt them with a budget in mind. Do more good sir.
Between two Trees sounds worth sampling. Like this topic. I think personality plays a big role in what frags work for you in the way you want. Different fregrnces have their own energy they convey and I like to match my mood if I can.
Yay.. You included ingenious Ginger.. Now we have to convince Ross he needs to pick that up along with Bohemian Lime :P He is easily sidetracked lolol... Also Timbuktu.. Such a SLEPT on gem.. I LOVE this stuff.. Great Video.
I really admire, how creative you are in inventing new angles and insights. I like the approach, even if the characterizations can necessarily only be approximations. But scent, personality and occasion (and mood!) should be a match. In my case "Timbuktu" sums it all up. I forever owe you for introducing me to that masterpiece - which I would have not found on my own that easily. "L´Art de la guerre" I have still to try, "Incident diplomatique" would fit in that category, too, I guess. And when I want a bit more presence, I use "Private Label" from Jovoy - a bit like Timbuktu without the fruity notes - dust dry (dry only!), woody with class and punch... 😉
I will have to try the Tom Ford Noir EDP. I love fragrance and have many but not too many that are beasts or draw much attention. I am certainly reclusive and definitely reserved. My favorite poet is Charles Bukowski and this quote pretty much sums me up. “It’s not that I hate people. I just feel better when they’re not around”.
I love this type of video! I'm definitely a mixture of outgoing and reserved depending on the energy on ground😄🦁I have been wanting to get Ingenious Ginger for the longest and you've just simplified it🙏🏾
☆Much luv to the Stay Fresh Fam! Great topic, J.C.! Is it strange both outgoing and reserved appeals to me? Looking forward to getting a nose on Jovoy, Teo Cab, Unique Luxury, G&B, and L'Artisan's Timbuktu, never smelled it; but it's a legendary one fo' sure! Liking this character driven scent suggestions-very engaging/thought provoking! Cheers!☆
I absolutly agree with the choice of TF Noir for the reclusive kind of person (wich i am). Loved this video! Will you review any Louis Vuitton fragrances Justin?
Watching this while working out :), great video rlly enjoyed it, im more introspective too, great scents that fit that to me are “The one” its cliché but great, molecule 01 ofcourse, prada lnr black, and Herod, i find Herod isnt that beastly anymore but moves very nice close to the skin :) which is better for me
Although many of the fragrances you describe are unknown and possibly out of the reach for some I believe your personality descriptions are very good and almost alpha , sigma and beta like . Well, to my ears anyway .
I tried Ingenious Ginger yesterday, but I didn't like that it seemed like orange juice on my skin. Pity that Guerlain's Ginger Piccante got discontinued. From Goldfield & Banks's summery ones I wanted to like Pacific Rock Moss but I only smelled lemon, I think I've generally gone anosmic to ambroxan. Personally I'm introverted but do some outgoing things, which can confuse some people. I've also tried L'Art della Guerra but there's a note which sticks out and I don't like. From the brand the Conduit Street one would be better for me.
Im clearly a reserved person, my no-brainers are Molecule 2, another 13 and TK 4 après l'amour ( the last one is nuclear😅), really want to try Peau salée, thanks for the recommandation
Justin, which personality category do you think you fall under? Does Grace fall under Reclusive (since Rose 31 has her name)? I'm somewhere between Reclusive and Reserved. Probably more Reclusive 🙃 Loved the video!
I’m definitely more reserved, but my fragrance taste can span all of the categories, just like anyone else! Grace is absolutely outgoing. 😁 Thank you for watching!
Hello brother, amazing presentation as usual, I did enjoy it a lot. May I ask a question, I do have Akdeniz but my bottle doesn't look like the one you have. Did they change how the bottles look? I freaking love Akdeniz man & this house in general, and Nishane too.
Its like when I wear TF Ombre Leather its like find me a Muscle car let’s robb a bank or something, and then snap out of my daydreaming and go night out to be awesome 😈
This video has me really thinking and I am fascinated with this topic. I am definitely in the Reserved category, a woman that loves deep and intelligent conversation, passionate, emotionally deep, and compassionate. Personality typing is very intriguing to me and I am a SC in the DISC test, an Ennegram 2/1, and a ISFJ in Meyers Briggs. So far, in my 14 month niche fragrance journey, I have tried over 50 fragrances, mostly via discovery sets or decants. I find it interesting that I gravitate towards scents that are *not* reserved, at least in my estimation. So far my favorites are Initio Oud For Greatness, Kilian's Angel Share, Xerjoff's Naxos, Alexandria III, and Nio, Clive Christian's Town and Country, MFK Oud Satin or Silk Mood and Grand Soir, Boadicea's Ardent, and Nishane B-612. I have SO many more to try. I am an ultra feminine woman, but disciplined and ambitious as well. It has been a mystery to me that I usually do not care much for the popular feminine fragrances such as BR540, Delina, Blanche Bete, Initio Musk Therapy, and really anything that is 'powdery'. Up to this point, my addictions and loves are intense and bold, darker and passionate. 🤪 Anyhow, thank you for such an interesting topic!!
How do you feel about Tom Ford Black Orchid? That is def in the more bold and dark category to me. I also feel like its a fitting scent for deep and intelligent conversation.
@@Superhero-Motivation , that isn’t one I’ve tried. I have a faint recollection of smelling it in a department store on a strip, but I will look for it again next time I’m at Sephora. 😊
@@Superhero-Motivation , so far the only Tom Ford that I know for sure that I love the scent of is Costa Azzura. Mmmmmmm!!! 🙌🏼 When I smelled Noir, I was SHOCKED. 😳
Love the description of a reserved person…it’s like you’ve been observing me in my natural habitat; I’m a Sigma (not an alpha or a beta) through and through😉. And I was literally thinking about Timbuktu earlier this morning…get out of my head, Justin. Seriously.
I would disagree on ambivert men.. we are kind of badboys and what suits us is something like black afgano, Tobacco oud, Tuscan leather.. we prefer to be offensive to the masses and mix with the people with depth.. neutral fragrances are not ment for us.. what is your openion?
I believe that could be a generalization. I am an ambivert and I don’t carry myself like that. But it’s totally fine if you do. As I said, these categories are not absolute.
Respectfully, Justin, I feel like I would need to put on high water waders before saying anything about personality types. The entire concept of personality types tends to pigeonhole people in greatly constraining ways that does not adequately represent them for the purpose of fragrance selection. I would rather have this presented as when one feels a certain way (assertive, reserved, withdrawn) then certain fragrances can match that mood. This is more realistic than attempting to assert that one is a certain personality type. Reading “Personality Isn’t Permanent” by Ben Hardy totally opened my eyes to the fallacies and unscientific origins of personality categorizations and tests. I personally see various situations when I would wear or try to wear (looking at you, Pallas Athene) any of these fragrances. My wife sometimes feels introverted, but she loves hot weather much more than cold weather. The temperature over-generalization really doesn’t strike me as realistic for many. My wife is also around a lot of people at work and when teaching classes, and expresses extroverted characteristics in those situations. I would think a combination of situations and how one is feeling or even wants to feel would be a much better classification method.
@@stayfreshproductions I hope you see that I was trying to give useful feedback that even with the disclaimers, it would be better to abandon personality types in favor of how one feels or wants to feel in different situations. No disclaimer would then be necessary to keep in mind for watching the rest of the video. I felt your good intentions, though, my friend! ✌️It made me think about personality types and fragrances, though, before realizing that the correlation may be weak based on the underlying premise. Or maybe I am just sensitive to making such a correlation for reasons I don’t know. 🤷♂️
