As a Japanese, I can confirm that the staff credits accurately list the creators of Mario 64 and the composers of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis". This video is very precise. It's wonderful.
@@Negitorodondesu So it’s one of those weird English exceptions. It could be considered technically correct and it does follow grammatical convention, but because “Japanese” is usually used as an adjective to describe something more than a noun, a native English speaker would add “person”. I’d say it’s actually a valid way to say the sentence and had a bit of foreign charm to it without sounding incorrect, so you could say it the way you were saying it. It is a sure sign that you’re a native Japanese person though. Honestly your English is very good.

0:56 At this part the original song's lyrics included "だけどいつか気づくでしょうその背中には遥か未来目指すための羽があること", or in English, "But someday I think you'll find out that what's on your back are wings that are for heading for the far-off future" This is amazing because at 1:04 Mario actually has wings (more accurately a winged cap), I don't know if this was intentional or not, but this moment is definitely the cherry on top of this magnificent video
I believe the music used in this was the legit music used in the N64 Evangelion game. This creator made the visuals (quite beautifully as well) and used the music from the actual Evangelion game that just happed to use the same Mario 64 soundfont. I only know this cause I read the other comments as well as the comments made by the creator (who responded to you and I'll say again, this video is quite a masterpiece).
Believe it or not this video is using an official version of Cruel Angel’s Thesis; the only thing added sound wise is the slow part at the beginning the rest is from Neon Genesis Evangelion 64(a Japanese exclusive N64 Eva game)
