If they actually realized GNR is a worldwide phenomenon and also won the “un-winable” Ticketmaster Award it wouldn’t change their rationale. Perfect example of “if that were true, it wouldn’t matter anyway”. I’m in the US and it’s frustrating. Axl does not care what they think. Also, look at the comments. Literally worldwide.

The first cassette tape I ever bought was Use Your Illusion 2. I was about 11 and grew up listening to them… I’m 38 now. GnR are my favourite band of all time and I’m so thankful they are back together and releasing new music. Legends.

Sadly, as said above this song sounds as it does because the vocals were recorded about 2 decades ago. I have no idea how they'll get around the issue with Axl's voice if they ever start work on a new album.

As much as I'd love to hear more new songs from GNR that aren't just reworks of songs cut from Chinese Democracy, I'm not really expecting that to happen. If it somehow does end up happening, then great. But I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm just thankful the band is touring again. Anything else beyond that is a bonus. I also kind of feel that Slash's band with Miles Kennedy has largely filled the GNR void in recent years. They ultimately sound very different but there's still that unique Slash sound on everything. There are also several really talented hard rock and metal bands I've been following from Japan that have helped with that too. So while I'd love more new GNR, there are some great bands out there that are continuing to keep the genre alive.

1987 I was 10yrs old and my stepdad gave me an electric guitar 🎸 and the Appetite for Destruction cassette for my birthday. Been a fanatic ever since. I’m 44 now and had never had the chance to see them growing up. I did see Axle once in Jacksonville Florida years ago but not the original line up. It was still good. Couple years ago they came to Oklahoma City on the Not in this Lifetime tour. My wife bought me tickets to see them and it was one of the most amazing gifts and experiences I ever had. Like a child meeting his heroes. I didn’t meet them and that’s okay. But I was able to snag a 88 GnR Jersey that I will cherish till my son can wear it. He’s 8 yrs old now and loves them. I been singing sweet child o mine to him since he came home from the hospital. I remember being a teenager and writing every lyric in a notepad to every song they ever wrote that I could get my hands on till I memorized every oooo and ahhh to every song. Thanks Guns and Roses for being a part of my life, and I’m so grateful I got to exist during this time. 🤘🏻🌹

1987 I was 10yrs old and my stepdad gave me an electric guitar 🎸 and the Appetite for Destruction cassette for my birthday. Been a fanatic ever since. I’m 44 now and had never had the chance to see them growing up. I did see Axle once in Jacksonville Florida years ago but not the original line up. It was still good. Couple years ago they came to Oklahoma City on the Not in this Lifetime tour. My wife bought me tickets to see them and it was one of the most amazing gifts and experiences I ever had. Like a child meeting his heroes. I didn’t meet them and that’s okay. But I was able to snag a 88 GnR Jersey that I will cherish till my son can wear it. He’s 8 yrs old now and loves them. I been singing sweet child o mine to him since he came home from the hospital. I remember being a teenager and writing every lyric in a notepad to every song they ever wrote that I could get my hands on till I memorized every oooo and ahhh to every song. Thanks Guns and Roses for being a part of my life, and I’m so grateful I got to exist during this time. 🤘🏻🌹
