- Tiki Bar and Grill! 🥥🌺🍍🌴☀️
[Do it yourself tikibar] Turned our old boring backyard into
{OUR BACKYARD Tiki Bar PARADISE} Built our very own Resort Style [TIKI BAR AND GRILL}
In this video we built our backyard tiki bar and grill🥥🌴 with a 16'x16' metal roof
We used 12 foot by 6 inch by 6 inch corner posts for the tiki bar build.
I removed the legs before installing a Gas grill, Blackstone Griddle and Charcoal Grill in the tiki bar.🥥🌴
Alot of our tiki bar decorations came from old time pottery.
Others we picked up at thrift stores etc.
This tiki bar floor is all brick pavers
🥥🌴 Bar wood is pressure treated and was burnt with a small propane plumbers torch and sanded and three coats of polyurethane was applied by brush.
Our tiki bar seating posts are wrapped with old Tug Boat Rope.
The tiki bar 🥥🌴television box door is powered by (2) Electric Linear actuators with 12" stroke rated @ #225lbs each (little overkill there) but strong!
Installed a mini fridge in this tiki bar🥥🌴
A Coleman cooler sits inside of a counter top that is not visible.

Absolutely awesome! Good video that gradually shows from start to finish and the layout is exactly what I want in my backyard!
Just Google a bunch of backyard areas and slowly put together your own layout little bit at a time!
Some serious carpentry skills here. Looks really good.
I love it.❤❤❤❤
Cool bar...I wish we can have bamboo in the Midwest too..
Someone was cutting it down and going to throw it away and we got it from them for free and used it in our build 👍😎

Tiki bar is cool as fuck big t salute big bro
Thanks, hope to make some cool RUclips videos in this setting 😊
Nice how long did it take you to build
It was an on going project on weekends and after work took us few months.
If you had the time you could do it in a week or so. 😎
how do you protect everything from storms?
Well Everything is pressure treated and coated with polyurethane just have to see how it holds up in Florida hurricanes 😊
We do in in Florida with Mickey and Minnie they have a force field around Walt Disney World 🤣🤣just hope it extends over here 😎
i like it thes you now i live in afrika can u help me i have good plaes etiopea gonder
Supply list please
Great job. I’m in the middle of building one now myself. I have the roof done, working on the pavers now. I was wondering what type of poly you used? Is it a spar for outdoor?
Home Depot
Parks pro finisher oil based polyurethane.
Professional grade for floors,,clear semi gloss
Sanded the wood with electric hand sander then burnt the grain with small propane burner.try a test pice of wood first before burning to get the feel of it.I watched a few RUclips videos to see other people do it first. It looks really nice with the burnt accents.I hope that helps 😎
Burnt wood before applying poly 👍
3 light coats of poly
@@bigtcookin I burnt the wood on my joists for a rustic look. Definitely got better at it as I did more and more. I will, most likely, burn the bar top as well.
Did you notice any issues with the poly reacting to the UV rays?
