Pierce Brosnan was the perfect 007 during and after the cold war. But Daniel Craig was perfect for 007 after the cold war and the events that followed after 9/11.

I just realized that goldeneye hit theaters on 11/17. The same day as casino royale 11 years later. Awesome trailer for an amazing Bond film!
I remember when they had announced Pierce Bronson as James Bond, they had this mega huge press conference with the original producers of the franchise and then they had started played the Bond theme and out from the back Pierce walked in his custom tuxedo with swag and charm and the crowd went bonkers!

It’s not controversial. Later Bond films became an exercise in farcical sci fi and impossible stunts.
Completely agree, action movies become joke ,with overwhelming, CGI over exaggerated action. Feminism makes it even worse.
The guy talks like a 13 year old boy trying to seduce everyone. We get it. You're James Bond. You might want to speak up a bit when you're telling us your name. Just saying. Or be believable in a fight scene.
