Ok Vin, ok! Taking the Middle A. battle to this channel I see! Well, first of all why is this Vid black'n'white? Is it maybe inspired by someone in the bible boogie? hm? Tell the truth! ;) Second, if there is a God and he controls everything ask yourself why your camera constantly blurs you and focuses on the lamp behind you? Maybe because it's the only bright thing in the room? Haha :)
He doesn’t control anything bub. That’s a common misconception. We have free will and we know the guidelines. We have our fate in our own hands. I feel the Bible, once read through once, is for reference as to how God, are you ready for my view, if channeled through enough prayer, will ignite the fire, which is the Holy Spirit. Once The Spirit has been roused, if you stay in the course of strengthening it through prayer and meditation, tethered with good will towards ALL ppl, you will “level up” and start to transcend this plane or realm to what, in other cultures, is enlightenment. I know from personal experience. When I first roused The Spirit and stayed on the path there was nothing I could do wrong. Everything I touched was stupid easy to fix or turned to gold. Really the modern, “new age” Christian has a more progressive thought and outlook.
The term "Ashes in Your Mouth" comes from a President Kennedy speech...... "We will not prematurely or unnecessarily risk the costs of worldwide nuclear war in which even the fruits of victory would be ashes in our mouth--but neither will we shrink from that risk at any time it must be faced."
Also Marty Friedman did about 75% of the solo work on this album. Alot of times (this song for instance) Marty and Dave Mustaine trade leads back and forth.
Nikos Nikolaou I agree with you Dave writes almost everything in megadeth of course the other members contribute but in my eyes it’s not fair to compare Dave to Kirk just cause he solos on the songs. Dave loves to play rhythm more and he Sings Kirk is a lead player that his position in metallica Dave isn’t strictly lead playing but I know for a fact if Dave wanted to improve his lead work he’d be milestones better than Kirk. He’s definitely a better composer than Kirk is. And in my opinion it’s kinda sad that Kirks lead has a repetitive sounding style like Dave when his position is lead you’d think he would tone down the wah and play more exotic scales you know expand his horizons but he really hasn’t he spams the pentatonic scale as much a Dave does, so in a way Dave has an excuse I mean that’s what his other guitarist is for, but on the other end Kirk doesn’t have that excuse

DARKHELMET N DEFIANCE sounds about right. I feel like Mustaine was so resentful toward Metallica for so long, it pushed him to the point where he wanted to out do every direction Metallica took. Countdown just so happens to of come out a year after the black album and it wasn’t sheer coincidence. I think Mustaine thought ‘if they can do it, so can I but better!’ Same with the Risk album. That happened to be their first album after Metallica release Load/Reload. Anyhow, you get the idea. I’m probably totally wrong but knowing the bands history and how much Mustaine obsessed over everything Metallica did, it makes sense. I clearly remember reading an article where Mustaine said during the late 90’s, he said ‘I heard Lars say that I don’t take any risks...’ it all makes sense now. I’m not knocking Mustaine, he’s a phenomenal musician. I just find these things interesting to point out.
I love Marty and that era of Megadeth is untouchable, but I actually think Kiko is Megadeth's most talented guitarist. He hasn't put in the time that Marty has, but you can tell what Dave thinks of Kiko. Conquer or Die is the first instrumental where Dave doesn't play a solo on it and allows Kiko to do his thing. And its perfection. It encapsulates Kiko's dynamic playing and in would stack it up against anything Marty has played (outside of Tornado of Souls). I wouldn't say one is better, per se. Marty is very capable. Marty is a beast, he just happened to be there during Megadeth's rise. He also is what influenced the lighter direction of Megadeth, as Dave was appeasing Marty's more commercially minded playing. Once Marty left, Megadeth went back in the thrash direction. So, I honestly don't get the desire to have Marty back. He simply didn't want to paint in battleship grey, he wanted to use different colors. Paraphrasing from Marty's mouth.
This song is a absolute beast of a song, the whole album is a 11 out of 10 for me. If you only ever listen to 1 Megadeth album Countdown to Extinction should be that album

The way you both analyzed this song opened up my eyes in ways I haven't thought of. Like how the Roman Empire really fell with the actions based out of love in some kind of way like reconciliation. Just wanted to say I thank you both making this video and I shared it on my Facebook.
YESSSS!!!! You did the ORIGINAL version with the good drumming. Love it!! This is one of all time favorite Megadeth song. The 2004 remake was to spite Nick Menza, and then Nick died and Dave felt bad. I love this song. I'm glad you liked it.
Most interesting song? That's a huge call. It's cool, but it's subject matter is done by others. Exodus Last act of defiance for example. The band Satan does stuff like this also. Are you familiar with Mortal Sin? Listen to Face of Despair album if you haven't already, I guarantee you'll love it!
Love the Tremonti shirt, wish you would do some reactions of him! You should hit more Megadeth! Tornado of Souls, Trust, Dread And The Fugitive Mind... Grab a greatest hits compilation by them and run the line, it started EVERYTHING for me.
Great choice! One of Megadeth's best. Don't know how this wasn't a single. Great riff, soloing, and lyrics that make you think. Love you guys commentary. Also I just have to say this, Sori is adorable! Looking forward to what other great songs you guys are gonna cover! If you get a chance you should check out Elimination by Overkill. Great lyrics and thrashing!
Dudes, that alarm in your kids' room is 100% identical to my phone ringtone. So at first, I obviously thought it was ringing, then I thought I was probably too tired, then after realizing I'm not tired at all, I began fearing that my subconscious was messing with me on purpose, then, that some relative of mine was in a life or death situation and wanted desperately to call me for help but couldn't so resorted to brain waves directly to my phone, and finally, I began fearing for my mental health. What a ride! There's a reason I choose that phone ring tone: no normal person ever chooses it, it's too scary, too nuclear catastrophe, so I wouldn't have to go through this, fearing for my mental health or relatives ever. LOL Probably my fave Megadeth song (fave band), but I must say, he sings it way more spectacularly in the Rude Awakening live album. Also the drum solo at the end is fuller, played by Jimmy DeGrasso, as much as I love Nick (R.I.P.). Great reaction. Both Davids, the founding members of the band, are Christians. I'm an anti-theist but I must admit that their Christian album is my 3rd favorite: The System Has Failed. You should definitely check it out if you're Christians. It's considered a solo album by Dave. Cheers.
The reference to the Wailing wall is the second reference to Israel in Megadeth songs (The first one was in Holy Wars- "... Don't look now to Israel, it might be your homeland... Holy wars")

Dave never disappoints and his voice in this one is just awesome man....f.y.i..WW3 alarm noise, plus Ashes In Your Mouth= perfect ending lol and it accidently happened!....orrrrrr diddd ittttt? I love how you two add some intelligent discussion and factual based discussion plucked from real history and literature to aid in your reaction videos, it's unique and I wasn't onto Megadeth and my BF had me listen and I missed out on some understanding about music and the struggle we all go through..nice job guys
Y’all focus on solos but Dave’s rhythm is tight AF too! Then there’s the fact that Dave’s influence is all over early Metallica, helped Kerry King of Slayer find his style. Yeah, if it wasn’t for Dave, would we have all this quality metal? Probably, because there’s a ton of talent out there but just saying Dave had a big shadow on the early development of thrash.
Good song! Wow, I don't know or interact with anyone like you guys! You two are beautiful people. I love watching your videos. I love finding new music, but I love hearing you guys talk more!💞💞

Fun fact: Dimebag auditioned for Megadeth and Dave Mustaine was blown away. He offered him the job on the spot. Have to agree, that is a killer MegadetH song. Best I heard from a newer album from them in a while.
Newer? Its almost 30 years old!
You guys rock the Megadeth. my favorite band. Hope all is well!!
The way you both analyzed this song opened up my eyes in ways I haven't thought of. Like how the Roman Empire really fell with the actions based out of love in some kind of way like reconciliation. Just wanted to say I thank you both making this video and I shared it on my Facebook.
This is my favorite 1 to date !! Love it.
I absolutely love this song
Regardless of me hating albums that are hyped up, this is one of the best songs ever made.
This entire album was my childhood. Looped on a cassette tape while I lifted plastic weights in the garage.
YESSSS!!!! You did the ORIGINAL version with the good drumming. Love it!! This is one of all time favorite Megadeth song. The 2004 remake was to spite Nick Menza, and then Nick died and Dave felt bad.
I love this song. I'm glad you liked it.
My fav reaction to 1 of my fav songs...thanks guys
Please do Captive Honour by megadeth its their most interesting song! It would be such a good reaction video
This!
My second favorite song of all time.
Hands down the greatest thrash metal song ever written
Metal Church'' Metal Church''
Love the Tremonti shirt, wish you would do some reactions of him!
You should hit more Megadeth! Tornado of Souls, Trust, Dread And The Fugitive Mind... Grab a greatest hits compilation by them and run the line, it started EVERYTHING for me.
Godamn finally!!
\m/ Metal Church'' Beyond The Black''
( 1984 David Wayne singer) studio version.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES !
efogg3 good call.
YES! Absolutely do not do a version with any other singer.
destiny that crooked schemer - one of my favorite lines
Great choice! One of Megadeth's best. Don't know how this wasn't a single. Great riff, soloing, and lyrics that make you think. Love you guys commentary. Also I just have to say this, Sori is adorable! Looking forward to what other great songs you guys are gonna cover! If you get a chance you should check out Elimination by Overkill. Great lyrics and thrashing!
vin is such a loveable character. very clear but from a good place.
LOL
Probably my fave Megadeth song (fave band), but I must say, he sings it way more spectacularly in the Rude Awakening live album. Cheers.
Moonspell - Night Eternal
Moonspell - Full Moon Madness
Yeah, Moonspell - Night Eternal is awesome !
Yes Moonspell! Magdalena & Firewalking are great too!
The reference to the Wailing wall is the second reference to Israel in Megadeth songs (The first one was in Holy Wars- "... Don't look now to Israel, it might be your homeland... Holy wars")
Best solo ever, true Gods of metal
Nice song beautiful Megadeth
I love this track soooo much
Has the baddest solo ever amazing
I remember bumping the shit outta this in the mid 90s
much like puppets there is a double guitar solo in this song too, personally as a guitar player i love playing this album from start to finish on my guitar, puppets is fun too but i have more fun playing this one, love them both tho
About time you all did this song....I wouldnt dare hope for Captive Honour lol....Nice react though, it's a bangin song though nice solo!
Love this track...one of there finest for sure!!

Iron Maiden- Phantom of the opera( Live Download 2013).
I love finding new music, but I love hearing you guys talk more!💞💞
Megadeth fan since 86 when I was 11.... this is a great record... this is a great song... But the title track is still better.

More SEPTICFLESH!
''The enemy of truth''. Absolute epicness. You'll love it.
The lyrics vid has the artwork of the great Seth Siro Anton (bass and vocals of the band)
Hands down to the best song of the album
you mean Static X played daves riff. glad you guys liked this. been waiting a long time
I enjoy your channel so much. I wish I knew you guys in real life.
great song. great reaction/review.
Fun fact: Dimebag auditioned for Megadeth and Dave Mustaine was blown away. He offered him the job on the spot. Dimebag told him “I’ll do it if you take my brother too.” Dave had JUST hired Nick Mensa. Dave told him the situation and Dime politely refused. Dave was bummed as he knew he had his witnessed greatness. Had Dime then the job there have never been Pantera, BUT could you imagine what Megadeth would have been like?!?!! Wheeeeeeeeweee
Now is time for another great Iron Maiden song.....please react to "Infinite Dreams" or "Caught Somewhere in Time"
For The Greater good of God
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Caught Somewhere in Time -definitely.
No big comment from me only..You both and the Song are brilliant 🤘🏻😊🇩🇪🇺🇸👍🏻😊Greetings from Germany to you
The solo was Marty Friedman and Dave, Marty played the first 2/3rds of the solo, then Dave shreds the last 3rd of the solo
A fantastic song. If you should pick one song to show how Megadeth really sounds for someone who never heard them before, this could be it.
God bless you, only one other person has reacted to this song, Apocrypha father time. And as far as I know it's not a copyright strike song. Unfortunately have no money to give you so, it'll sit back here at the end of the line.
Marty friedman is a living legend on the guitar, amazing tone
You two are on point
Megadeth - Skin O' my Teeth !!!
