i would be more specific when saying that Lenovo is shipping bad computers- it only applies to the YOGA series, which are horrible from the very first generation. And if this video worked for any of you and the laptop turned on, first thing you should do is update the BIOS from Lenovo's website, as that's where the main issue is.

Hey, I did it just like tutorial, but it doesn’t work. The only difference I can see is that my power button is blinking, and yours isn’t. Any suggestions?? Edit :My laptop needed me to do bitlocker 3 times today, once I shut it down, when I reopened it, it needed a BIOS recovery. After that recovery reached 100%, it just turned to this. Update: power button is no longer flashing for some reason, I’m going to try the tutorial again, it didn’t work… I tried to BIOS reset, nothing… Did tutorial again… still nothing

Hey, i know this is late. The power button flashes when there is no charge in the battery. I have the same model and i have had this problem for a while, doing this fix everytime. From what i can tell, it’s an issue with the fTPM module and its associated nvram. My windows blue screens and it got to the point windows 11 can not run. Windows 10 and linux run sometime.
Lenovo is shipping laptops with corrupted or not functions nvram and when the fTPM attempts to read from the dead spots, it causes blue screens. Likewise, what he has shown is the laptop not completing POST which is indicated by the flash of the caps lock and escape key indicator lights. My laptop will also occasionally have 1 beep before booting (if it boots).

@@danfromtechnesia this worked for my 2 year old Lenovo Slim 9i. Although i couldn't locate the CMOS, I unplugged the battery for like 10 minutes, cleaned the fans while I was in there. And it worked....Question though.....Why did this even work? I haven't noticed any power issues at all. My screen was flickering and randomly would go completely black...But secondary monitor worked perfect. All drivers, BIOS etc are up to date. Any ideas?
