Once you have a formula created by the lab can you recreate the products at home with the formula that has been given to you? Or do you have to get every product made by them?

I am very interested and always wanted a hair care line. Im fully natural and been taking care of my hair for about 4 years. So i grown to love hair care and learn whats best for the hair. But i am very confused on what is the difference between a recipe and a formula. If anyone can answer me would be helpful. Thanks
A recipe is not accurate when it comes to percentage and a formula is accurate. That’s what I think I heard from Gabrielle
