Pivot Shuttle Vs. Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay

It's the battle of the full power, All Mountain, e-bikes! Can the top end Shimano XTR Pivot Shuttle AM take down the Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay C70 model? Is the Shimano EP8 motor better, worse, or the same as Rocky Mountain's own Dyname 4.0 motor?

Got the C70 last week, amazing ride. It's my first ebike so don't have anything other ebike to compare it to but it's been revolutionary, the next best thing to being in shape. Gets the heart rate up and gets me riding so can't be all bad. Like how the speed you can maintain going up hill smooths the ride out so not just easier on the lungs but everything else as well.

Hi Scot, no no no, I LOVE my Tallboy! I am just looking into possibly getting an e-bike to add to the quiver. I thoroughly love riding my TB and will continue to but no harm in also having a super fun e-bike! Cheers.

It’s usually pretty close oddly enough. But, I haven’t done a calorie per mile comparison. But, based on sweat-stink…it’s even steven. 😅
