I agree, it’s expensive to repair like any John Deere. You sneeze and it costs $1000. The good thing is that will now probably never happen again and you still have very high resale value. Cheers!
Yes I agree, I don’t understand why they discontinued it. It’s the only Gator model that performed so well on trails. It honestly has ridiculous power and is a lot of fun. I’m sure they will eventually bring it back.
I'd be great if JD or some other entity acquired the rights to produce these again while fixing the electrical quirks, engine noise and the fact that it does not do well going at slower speeds for longer periods.

I have the same exact machine, it really is a great machine John Deere should have never discontinued it
I agree! I think it is one of their better machines that is a really good multi purpose. I could see them bringing it back in the near future.
I have same Machine. I love it repairs are very very high my belt blew broke everything bell housing. $2300.

I have a 2015 RSX for going around a palm oil plantation. Electrical quirks are a nightmare
Wow a palm oil plantation, that’s cool. How many acres is that? Must be large.
That is unfortunate about the electrical issues. We had some of ours as well but it has been good lately. Hopefully it will last.
