@@danielurb01 This is a Legends ride, so these are the Legends versions of the characters who existed during the Galactic Civil War. That's just a guess, of course.
The CMs said that the content had been locked in sequence so everyone gets to see the Jakku scene for a while. The endings however are still random. We got several different ones thanksgiving and the following week. Lots of the sequences have subtle differences added to them.
I'm glad you recorded this one, but why didn't you put one of the lenses of the 3D glasses in front of the camera? It would solve the 2 image problem and wouldn't really change the quality. Is it a size issue?
What kinda sucks is that the shattering windshield was incredibly cool and earned shrieks from guests every single time. Of all things to change, I wish they wouldn't have changed THAT. But oh well.
+Brian Krosnick They didn't permanently change that one - I saw it over the weekend. Instead of almost hitting Jar Jar, though, we smacked right into him as he was swimming by so I guess that was a different alteration on the Naboo scene.
They didn't change it. In addition to having sequences randomized, there are also little details in each scene that are randomized. That was one of them.
I went on 3 times at Disneyland, and I was hoping for Jakku. I didn't get it either, and this was at the end of January 2017. EDIT: Also, I didn't get BB-8 either.
On the contrary, they did the Legends continuity a great service by accidentally giving us Legends versions of the Sequel Trilogy and Disney+ characters. So there's hope of salvaging them in Legends after Disney dropped the ball with them in their own continuity.

This is amazing what they've done with this ride compared to when i was a kid. I was hoping the ship was going to hit Jar Jar though!

I rode this like 7 times and never saw the Jakku scene. I did see BB-8, though
Did they also update the sequence of crashing into the naboo star fighter? I have never seen the Pitdroid throwing a paint bucket to the front glass.

Why is the ending different? Usually the windshield gets damaged and the droid falls into the Starspeeder. Where did this new one come from?
+WDWfan42 Apparently all of the old scenes have an altered ending in some way from what we were told adding to the amount of combinations.
+The DIS Did you film any of the other alternative endings? I would love to know what endings are possible.
Not yet, but if we are lucky enough to end at another planet then we will add more.
