Knowing you guys won't be fitting 99% of your viewers, you do a wonderful job empowering and educating the amateur golfer to get the most out of their fitting. You are raising the bar and forcing all other fitters to step up their games. Bravo gents
After watching your videos I convinced my wife to let me go get fitted for a full bag. I’ve never bought new clubs or been fitted till this year, clubs should be in this weekend/early next week so I’m super excited! Thanks for the great content and all the knowledge you guys provide!
The most impressive thing in Matt's bag is the humility he shows even as a better player. Great ongoing and informative content guys, see you when the borders open!

One of the best things I learned. Using the 54 instead of the 58 on pitch/chips. I grew up on “turtle back” greens which means if you’re off the green chances are you’re a few feet below the green surface. So I grew up using lob for chipping. Much better now.
Agree 100% with Ian's comment on chipping. My default wedge for chipping is 50 degree and will go down to 56 in thicker lies or more short-sided leaves. My 60 degree is primarily for bunkers, when I'm extremely short-sided or buried in a very deep rough and need to get it up fast. Great vid guys.
I can't believe why you guys aren't in the upper 500,000 subs yet! Your videos makes me want to get fitted for my whole bag now. Not too many local fitters in my area, but going tomorrow to hopefully get things dialed in. Keep up the great content! Your channel is my new favorite!

Just a quick note lads, got fitted a few weeks ago having done my due diligence watching loads of your videos. Ended up with Graphite jpx919hm with recoil e460 f3, 3/4" long 6-lw and Cobra sz with Matrix radix 6 r flex. I was able to ask all the right questions and understood all the answers. Except for you i would have been in steel shafts in the irons, he was surprised i asked to try them. I got the jpx wedges too, and when i was hitting them i said "seems to retain energy better". He just looked at me and said "watching Ian and Matt much ?" 🤣🐾🐶🐕
So thanks guys, and i got shotscope as well to track my stats.

@@clubchampionmedia went to foregolfcustom in ireland as you half suggested too. Hitting balls out onto a range from the custom bay makes a huge difference when you can see the flights

Middle wedges for the win. I got a 54 12 Ping Glide 2 that does not leave my hand, it's my baby. I can comfortably hit full swings, I can chip, I can bump and run. The bounce is great, the Glide headweight cuts through rough. The grip is so nice, you can grip down on Pings so easily. Its the best club in my bag. And I used to swear by a Lob Wedge. I hardly use my 60. Its essentially a specialty club
I love that Mizuno offers every degree of wedge. I've always wanted a 50-55-60 setup.
Interesting 5 degree gaps are now here ~ I have had my wedges knocked to these numbers for a few years ~
Great review of your Bag.... My observation is that the Ping LST was way more user friendly for Matt and it seems like the Maverick requires a ton of tweaking based on the 1st 3 minutes of this video. If one of the best fitters out there needs to screw around that much that means the Maverick must be a pain in the ass to dial in for the masses. Everyone doesn't have a Ian and unlimited Tour Sleeves, Loft Heads and Weights available.

Also, switching from a 10.5 head to 9 isn’t that fluid
If youre not watching TXG religiously, memorizing all the tech specs and then grabbing a preowned off the rack without ever hititng it, then youre doing it wrong.

On the topic of putters can you guys do a video to test the theory of whether you need a heavier or lighter putter for fast greens vs slow greens. Some say heavier for slow to increase mass in F=MA others say lighter to increase speed. Which is it? A perfect video for you guys!
Great vid, I liked how Matt was talking about his process indoors and outdoors and how that contributes to his performance. Would be cool to see a video with a coach about that!

Nice boys! Glad Matty touched on indoor outdoor. I personally battling alignment, different lies and ball above and below feet. The joys of golf and my journey as a beginner. Keep up the good work! Can't wait for some outdoor videos.✌🇦🇺

Rich Hodyl I really wanna see that!! I play the left dash but when I can’t get them or am waiting in a shipment, I play the tp5x as I think it is the lowest spinning ball next to the left dash

Great video! Matt, I am a short guy and need shorter shafts for longer clubs. I cut 1.75” off my 3W & tossed a Winn dry tac lite and it’s amazing. It would be interesting to see performance differences between the tape and just a grip change.
i have tested those +4 grips and love them , i can’t wait for my career to take off so i can afford them lol
I agree 100% on using the smart phone to set the pin positions and checking wind conditions.. I pre-ordered the Arccos Caddie Link early last year and happy to see its finally being shipped... I called them a few days ago and they’re honoring the price it was when i pre-ordered which i think was about $60.. had to change my email address since someone hacked into my old msn email several months ago. Been using the Sensors since 2017 and the technology is amazing.. my Arccos Overall handicap is 2.1 and my USGA is 2.4 so it proves to be very accurate ! My handicap Breakdown is: 6.3 Driving; 7.0 Approach; 7.1 Chipping; 6.4 Sand and +5.4 putting. My putting has been phenomenal... 29.5 per round, 1.8 per hole and 1.9 per GIR.. 3 putt 4.2% which is less than 1 per 18 holes This Arcoss really is a terrific product and their customer support is also terrific
Nice bag 👍 One thing to consider about assessing your iron wedge spin is on grass a clean strike will spin higher than off of astroturf. That may be why on the course the lower spin ball is spinning just fine because it is spinning enough. You say you play on fast greens, that would expose a low spinning ball fast.

Great comment about Matt's Ping Driver being more user friendly. He should try the Ping G410 Hybrid, he hit it great during the review of the club.
Switched from Game Golf Pro to Arccos recently, such an improvement! Had been waiting on the Caddie Link and wasn’t until after I preordered read it will have a button to mark the flag. No need for the phone to come out of the bag now...
On the tour sleeve concept for mavrik - I loved it. Matty swapping between two heads is something most can't do economically. Buy a head, and it's your only driver for a period.
Showing how to play with specs on a (relative) budget is far more relevant. Resleeve a shaft would be what? 100$-150$

Matty, your 3 wood is set to B1 which is +0.75 (17.25 degree). If you are looking for -0.75 that is B4. Just a heads up!
If you had to guess, or perhaps you know, how many bag set up combinations have you had in the last ~3 years?

On the driver, you can also put a right handed fitting in the SZ and it will flatten it. Or find him a triple diamond LH head would help. :)

I would hate to think what Arccos would make of me, I'm a 5 handicapper and have been lower, played off 2 for 10+ years but don't hit it anyway like the two of you!!............maybe I won't let the data tell me!! Nice video gents!

Funny when my son was a jr golfer I told him if I could give him one gift in golf it would be the greatest putter ever. He laugh at me and told me he wants to hits the ball 350 yards, while he hits it close to 310 yards he now agrees with me about being the best putter ever!

I think I need to try the TP5x. I spin my short irons way too much. I'm switching between the -Prov1x, Bridgestone tour x and I'm still spinning it too much.
Agree on tp5x comments.. I also felt like it's too firm off the putter, so great everywhere else.. had to stay w PV1x

Been using Arccos for a couple months.... only critics is not being able to select when us a club to punch out from trees to avoid messing with the figures. That said overall great for focus on the game...
Really looking forward to the video about not needing more spin. I find the same thing regarding balls. It’s why I game the Tour BX and not the XS

I saved a good 6 strokes a round by leaving my 60 in the bag around the greens... HUGE different in proximity to the hole

Put the bigger +4 grips on the T20s (I use them in midsized) and it makes a huge difference when choking up while pitching.
From a testing perspective, I would love to see the more aggressive C grind Mizuno 54/8, bent to 52/6 as that flexible chipping club around the green versus the Full Grind S Grind 52/9
Can you do a video on arccos and how it actually works? Really interested in having those numbers in hand!

I have the same issue regarding how I hit at the range verses playing a round! I would think a video showing how Matt is working to close up that gap could be vary informative.
Been using my 7 iron for some bump and runs and the pitch wedge around the greens from tight lies
Since I went to Paul Bunyan's 12 system when I miss green side, I feel bullet proof.
My face to path indoors is wildly better than outdoors and the only thing I can attribute it to is that my brain is trying to drive the ball into a much smaller screen than what I see as a target outdoors
I think Arccos Caddie is tournament legal per the R&A because it uses previous round info and generally available info on the weather. Matty can win a few more 5 spots

G410 if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. It must be tempting and difficult to not tinker/ change when you have all this amazing new product coming in all the time. But I have never seen someone hit a driver as consistently incredible as Matt hit the G410 last year. So much so that I bought one and it made a big improvement to my tee shots too. Would be interesting to see if Matt played a few rounds with his previous driver what the outcome would be? Playing from the fairway more leads to better approaches, better putting stats and overall confidence.

Great to see what’s in Matty’ bag. I do have a request for you both. I notice you focus attention on the Arcoss data system, which I can get here in Perth Western Australia. My issue with this system is the US$100 per year subscription. I was hoping you could do a test and review on the Garmin CT10 system. I use a Garmin S60 watch and it’s been working perfectly so far. It seems the CT10 system is the same but no subscription cost. Just a suggestion gents. Keep up the enjoyable content.
Is it possible to see Matt’s driver the SZ versus the Mavrik now that’s it has been adjusted to his specs,to see his reason for the change from the original 2020 driver bracket? I compared the two at a fitting and I had no doubt in my mind the SZ was a better fit! Love it now!

I read most callaway woods are flatter than most, I just purchased rogue sz fairway for that reason, same as Matty with the maverick. I imagine the numbers are similar

Hard to believe Matt is struggling off the tee with all the great drives we've seen, with every driver he uses, over the years. I know everyone misses drives but for that to be one of his weak spots is just surprising to me. Would love to see some on course play.
Im great on the range but not so good in comp :)
If you have a Apple Watch you can use that for tracking and distance and everything. And also it feels less like cheating because it gives you distance to front middle back with no other info just the true distance without wind and elevation

you often see so many people go for mizuno irons and vokey wedges....refreshing to see the opposite here. what was the main reason behind choosing the t20s? were they compared to sm8?
