this case changed mine and my kids lives. gone was the illusion that we were safe in our own home. RIP polly klaas and lisa french
I discovered Polly's case 2 years ago. Her story will always tear my heart, it's crazy. She deserved a better sleepover without that fool coming in and taking her life. I hope her loved ones are doing well despite this. May she rest in peace and she will never be forgotten 🫶🏻
I was approached and chatted up on the bus coming home from work by Richard Allen Davis a few days before the kidnapping. He got on the bus and made a bee line for me, and began to tell me he was living in the San Mateo shelter after being released from prison on parole. He seemed quite proud of himself to get into the shelter with mostly women and children which made my skin crawl as he gave off all the signs of a predator. I felt angry that this person was inserted into our upscale community especially where children were present. I got off the bus, no where near my residence to evade him.
Really? I have more information on the case.
Polly would have been in her 40s had Richard Allen Davis not taken all of that away.
rip Polly
This story is heartbreaking
My admiration for Mark Klass is immense.John Walsh talked about meeting him and saying that he was going to be a warrior for children. He is an amazing man 💜I will always think of Polly around Halloween and every time I’ve seen Little Women
I wish everyone nothing but the best.
This tragedy shocked our whole community! In the early 2000s I actually met her uncle and he said their family was never the same. Every step, every moment forever changed.
I lived in Petaluma at the time, my kids were in their 20's & out in college. I had a hard time anywhere i went around town, until he got caught.
I do not believe in death penalty, but only in his case.
There's much more to this case.
This scared the crap out me as little girl
Things can happen anytime and any where
I remember: This was so devastating.
I hope everything good to everyone
Remember it all too well. I have been supporting Marc's foundation since 1997.
To the property owner that couldn’t make a citizens arrest that night I hope they have trouble sleeping at night with the guilt they should bear.
You do know the property owner was a woman who found the evidence. Why blame the woman not knowing? That’s weird. Keep the negative energy to the sick man who did that to sweet Polly.
Where I come from, citizens arrest means you will be charged....
That woman would have been KILLED by that psycho if she tried to arrest him. You sound ridiculous.
Exactly how would a woman overpower a man? That’s ridiculous.
watching from Grenada in the Caribbean Sea
I was about 9/10 when this happened and I remember hearing about it
And bohemian grove is right near petaluma
What does that have to do with it?
@@beberivera7011oh you’re not good at math well that grove place is where the elites do children sacrifices.
@@kinnyjoans8493Ridiculous conspiracy theory. I have a friend who has worked there for 30 years. Nothing like that has ever happened there. That allegation is a pernicious QAnon fabrication.
True. Not sure if that is connected, but there are more connections to this case that have been covered up.
It's someone who knew she was going to be there.
She would be 43 years old
I hate that she had to miss her whole life bc of this monster.
😭
I was in first grade!
Petaluma is cow country…seriously there’s probably more cows than people 😅
Taken too soon well i did not exist when this happened back in 1993
Lie detect everyone

Why does he keep trying to explain America to Americans?? Its quiet redundant & pointless. As if crime doesnt happen in "American".
Im sure there is a memorial now, her body was found just south of Cloverdale on makai side of hwy101 under a bunch of plywood and rubbish... aloha
Sonoma Co cops screwed this up BIGTIME they found the guy in mid night in his truck drunk and they helped him out of the ditch there in rural wine area/ Kenwood.. all while he had the girl tied up just on other side of the drycreek there. The cops should have arrested him for drunk driving and they would have had this pos early one. this was well after the kidnapping. the cops in Petaluma didnt talk to other cops in Sonoma Co. fwiw Petaluma is a chickentown who like to arm wrestle period....fact is Peggy Sue movie was more filmed at Santa Rosa HS, not Petaluma, Petaluma was more American Graffiti movie duh duh aloha
You’re incorrect about quite a bit.If you’re going to comment you should give Polly the curtesy of having correctly stated facts.💔
