Bought it about a month ago. Have yet to try it in the pow, but damn it carves on the icy indoor piste.
I have this board as my very first board, and I’m a rather tall guy at 6”2 and this board runs a little small and tbh I can do so much with it because of that. It was a weird day and in one spot was fresh deep powder and hard ice and then slush and it handled every section better than any other board on the mountain. Except the park lol
Are stiff(er) boots necessary to get the most out of this board?
Hello , for a 187 lbs and a 10,5 boot wound you suggest the 56’ ?? I’m a little bit skeptical about slower turn initiations and playfulness because of its width . I use to borrow a 158w flying V , at speed it was nice but at slower speeds i felt it as being to much of a board . I also ride a 159 Iguchi pro camber that feels comfortable all around. Do you believe that the simple pleasures 56’ is suitable for me?
You want smaller.
So do you think this is an ideal board for a surfy kinda style of riding? I am thinking of buying either this one or the korua stealth. I’m 82 kg, if I buy this one should I get the 156? I’m 10.5 boot size. Thanks angrysnowboarder!
It can be, it's a little stiffer than most for surf style turns. .
But it wouldn’t be an issue if I prefer riding longer boards then? Thank you again for the help!
Could not find a review about the carve air, are these comparable? Would the carve air be good for some off piste, charging groomers, jumps,....
Allready have a ride warpig for the freestyle aspect and playfulness
By the way, I could get it for a steal ! 120 euro’s

@@AngrySnowboarder great ! Was searching RUclips but didn’t think about your site. Sorry mate.
When in doubt always check the site, until 3 years ago all reviews were written. There's hundreds of written reviews there.
@@AngrySnowboarder thank you not only for the content but also to keep the culture alive
Hey Angry how do you think this board would be for a size 7.5 foot?
Might have some issues with the edge to edge leverage if you're not a strong rider.
Hey Avran, what size - 170-175lbs First thing in the morning and 9-9.5 boot.
Thanks!
51 if you want to be more surfy, 56 if you want more stability. It's kind of dealers choice on this.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks for getting back to me. Thats what I was thinking too. Are there any other boards similar that would put me more clearly in one size?
@@DGoldman973 If you're looking to rip hard carves then I'd say Gnu NuZoid, Bataleon Carver, Telos DST (seriously this board is amazing), and I'm sure there's others but I just woke up.
Hi! I’m 180cm 68kg and my boot size is 9.5, what size of this board is good for me?
151
Angry Snowboarder thanks a lot
I really want that red/grey plaid shirt! where the heck get it? Thanks for the vid!
A store.

Any idea how the 2019 is? Spec appears to have slightly changed
It's pretty much the same ride.
@@AngrySnowboarder much obliged, thank you

This review seems largely based on a misprint of this year's specs, dimensions haven't changed at all, they clearly have never even ridden it. Got mine last week, in time for an end of season blowout.
If I have size 11 boots would this still work
Should.
Sup Angry, I’m 140lbs and size 9 boot. 151 or 156 with the Niseko Pleasures?
51 all day.
@@AngrySnowboarder You da man. Keep up the great content. 🙌🏻
You gonna review the k2 niseko pleasures any time soon?
No.
@@AngrySnowboarder ok, dies it make sense to get the niseko, if I love driving off the backfoot and a surfy feel, but already have the K2 Instrument, also love powder.
Your money, your call.
