Tried the 2020 157 model and ended up buying it. Love the backseat camber. It can carve! Your rewiev is spot on. If you dont ride park anymore this could be a daily driver. Great work as always.

I’m 5’10/200 lbs/12us. 65% piste/35 % off piste. It is said one has to downsize for this board. What size should I take 157 or 160?

According to the salomon’s chart I should get 160.
Just bought this. Can this go well on non powder days when just riding the groomers, or is it strictly a powder board?

For true all mountain it'd be the Assassin especially for my style if it's more freeride based then the Super 8.

What makes this a pow board moreover than a freeride board?

what binding ?? quantum or defender? I´m more groomer than powder probably.... I like stifness but dont know if the quantum wold be too much
The thing with the Quantum is that it's got Shadowfit technology so you lose a bit of the rigidity in the heel cup of it from it having that little bit of play. It's honestly not that stiff of a binding.
I disagree Angry. I own this board and its my only board. This board rips on groomers and hard pack.even stable and grippy on ice. no problem hitting park jumps and side hits. Ok, its not buttery!!! so its 15/16's of a quiver of 1.
