Could we all agree that Lex's smile could light up a dark mansion?
She is cute as a button!!
Str8 up wifey material..😆🤣😂
I have to wear my shades watching her. She IS Bright
I'm sure Brad would agree, weirdo
@@kevinmatthews9469 Troll much?
had to pause and react as soon as i heard her say "he's like the michael jackson of rock". laughed so hard i? i recalled taking my 2nd wife to a dio concert in the year 20somethingearly, and she actually said "he's like the richard simmons of rock". true story
As a life long Motley Crue fan (and I'm the same age as them), Lex I highly recommend Live Wire, Shout at the Devil, Red Hot, Looks That Kill. Brad, for you, Home Sweet Home which has one of the most underrated solos.
this is my first time on this channel, Lex GET'S it, poor brad, I worry about what excites him. will check out more videos
i just love your vibe Lex! :D
“The Michael Jackson of Rock?!?” 😂🤣😆
Absolutely beautiful
I think they play this song on one of the roller coaster rides at one of the theme parks in Orlando.
This Glam Metal is pretty much party music 🤘 Check another banger from them in Girls Girls Girls 🔥
Brad may want to do that one alone lol.
@@NathanCline12-21 😂
@@chrischaman8345 for his safety
It was about Nikki Six overdosing and kick starting his heart but I can see women thinking kick start their hearts!!! Seen them live!!!!! Awesome 👌
Home sweet home Motley Crue
To be honest, Motley Crue was the Nickleback of the 80s. Real metal heads hated them. But the casuals and girls liked them.
Mötley Crüe is one of my favorite bands, this song is about the bassist, Nikki Sixx, he was addicted to heroin and other hard drugs and he actually did for a couple minutes. He was given two shots of adrenaline and he was brought back to life. So that’s kind of what this song is about. If you plan on doing more Crüe, then I suggest Dr. Feelgood, Home Sweet Home, Wills Side and Girls Girls Girls, those are some of their famous songs
Live Wire and On With the Show please!
Play this girl some welcome to the black parade by MY Chemical Romance it will be her new favorite if it’s not already
Love this reaction🤣 Check out Dr. Feelgood & Girls Girls Girls!🤟
Song is about nikki sixx OD’ing on heroine and getting pumped with adrenaline in his heart. True story i was there, not really but true story
Motley Crue were the epitome of rock stars. Girls, drugs, alcohol, cars, just pure excess. Love them.
I was right there with them😂 Such good times.
Like most bands at the time
@@viking_nor glam bands. Most bands weren't as successful as them. Thrash bands at the time were anti this. They considered themselves regular guys in street clothes playing metal. Although, many of those bands drank and did drugs, their image was that of regular guys, not glamorous rock stars. Their music videos weren't fast cars and naked girls.
Motley Crue is what many people think of when they think of hair bands that lived in excess.
Exactly, she summed it up best. "It's happy music"
they sure lived the life we all wish we had, 0 regrets.
This was their first album where the band was clean and sober. The bass player Nikki Sixx was a major heroine addict and actually was dead for a few minutes before a paramedic refused to give up and hit him with two cardiac needles of adrenaline to the heart, basically kickstarting his heart. The song was about discovering new natural ways of getting high. I was in high school when this song came out, 89, and drove a 1971 Pontiac Firebird, naturally it was a dangerous song to listen to while driving! Oh and they are a very theatrical band so I suggest watching the video, just to see them, even if you can’t show it on a reaction video. Things like lighting your legs on fire on stage just has to be seen.
Yes The 80s was a great time in rock lol
This up there on my list of favorite song. You guys should watch The Dirt... it's their story.. told by them.
Yeah I was going to say the same thing but you beat me to it, And I was actually the second time that he died from an overdose
Great explanation! But yes, this song is literally about Nikki sixx overdosing on heroine and the medics "kickstarting his heart" back to life
Sixx A.M. is a band Nikki Six had after the Crue and the song "Life Is Beautiful" was written for the movie The Heroin Diaries.
Lex's face when the Talkbox kicked in: PRICELESS AGAIN!!! xD
Absolutely
Brad, the only person in history to be bored with kick start my heart.
Music is the language of emotions..don't know if Brad has learn that language. Sorry Brad... you miss so much emotions :-(
True that
@@commenceenavoirmarre I agree Brad sucks at reactions and emotions.
@@commenceenavoirmarre yea
@@petermarshall7962 Since some reactions he is much better. He finally wake up ! :-) Just look at recent reactions..he is ok now !!
Lex's reaction to hearing Kickstart My Heart is the same result caused by everyone who heard this song for the first time!
This song never really did much for me. Wild Side, Shout at the Devil, or Primal Scream on the other hand...
Shit, my head still swings like that on the 100th time!
Yes Ans he’s sleeping at the fucking. wheel!!!!
Lex is the David Lee Roth of reactions. A little spastic, fun-in-a-package, master of stage (camera) presence.
Nah she has too much substance lol. But I see you
Somebody somewhere who has the contacts really needs to cast her in her own television show...
only if she does a metric ton of cocaine
Maybe you're right. They should do some Van Halen. I suggest Ice Cream Man. Its a fun banger and has elements I think both of them would like?
@@dizastro5437 They did Ice Cream man!
Lex would have fit right in at being an 80's chick. lol
Lex was born in the wrong decade. She is an 80's rocker chick no doubt!
The 80's were under-rated decades. The only really bad part was women's fashion sense. If you took the most beautiful woman you could find today, I mean the girls that so hot you do them on type of your wife. Then the two of you got into the DeLorean took it to 88mph then went back to 1988. Then let a professional highly recommended stylist just give her the full 88 package. When you went back to pick her up you'd probably cut your losses and leave the newly minted street urchin right there. Considering every other woman looks just like her all you got left is to get back up to 88mph and pray the Flux capacitor is working get back to a decade where the men and women have the same f-ed up hair and make up. i.e. I didn't realize for 35yrs that Cinderella was all girls.
@@shawnnaquin70 nah the girsl and their fashions were awesome, anything went, the ONLY bad thing about the 80s was the cars, but you could get late 60s muscles cars for a few hundred bucks so it wasnt all bad.
She does remind me of somebody I went to school with in the 80s
Like Joan Jett 😂😂
Who loves Led Zep and Van Halen.......
Brad: "You gotta be careful the way you hurl around MJ's name like that". Hilarious! I'd bet that was the 1st Vince Neil/MJ comparison ever, and it's why your reactions are always so fun and entertaining.
Ifk Vince would say the same thing
He likes age appropriate women
Lmao. VN-MJ. No way, that's funny right there now, I don't care who ya are!
Brad dude, I hope you realize just how lucky you are man, you got yourself a Queen of queens
AMEN.
She is awesome.
Should be called Lex and old stick in the mud
Lex loves to hear good music. Brad loves to hear himself talk about lyrics. Team Lex all the way.
There's only one team here: the married couple who's husband you just shat on because the wife is attractive and seems to appreciate what you consider good music... sad.
@@smashleyscott8272 who said anything about me thinking she was attractive? Don't project your own weirdness on me. Creepy and sad
yup and he gets it wrong 99% of the time
@@smashleyscott8272 OK white knight, calm down.
@@timlarosa... you're response is complete idiocy.
I think Lex would have been a groupie in the 80's!
😍
No doubt about it she would .
Give that girl a lighter and watch out. Love her!❤️
That funny but nah, she's too smart for that. Her soul is from another era, that's for sure.
Motley Crue was never known for their deep lyrics. Their songs were usually about sex, drugs, alcohol, rock n roll, cars, womanizing. It was really more about the music for them.
all those bands had cookie cutter lyrics
Came here to reiterate the above comment ^
The 80’s songs that have deep thoughtful lyrics are few and far between. Which is where I get confused where people Mark it as “the greatest music decade”. Best party songs maybe, best all around musically/lyrically no.
There was many bands who have nice lyrics but not every song have to be poetry to make sens and be good .
"Their songs were usually about sex, drugs, alcohol, rock n roll, cars, womanizing". Not "deep lyrics"? I beg to differ . 😉
First cassette as a kid was “Shout at the devil”. Been Motley Crue fan since.
Lol. Same here.
Growing up in a town of 300 with 6 churches, I had to hide mine.
If y'all do another Motley Crue please let it be (Wild Side)
...it's another fun song I use for a drum warm up before we practice.
Wild Side (and a lot of Motley songs, for that matter) is one of my favorite songs to drum cover. I dunno why. Tommy Lee isn't exactly a virtuoso but his "feel" is exceptional.
Yes to Wildside, and with Motley Crue, you have to watch the video, it adds to the song to see the guys in action
@@jenniferfoster1692 ... agreed.
I love how lex just all about vibes lol not everything’s gotta be deep
This song was inspired by Nikki Six overdose. They literally had to kickstart his heart with a shot in the chest.
Back when hard rock was fun what a time to be young and alive.
Motley Crue’s drummer Tommy Lee is the reason why I’m a drummer. When I heard Shout at the Devil for the first time I knew that’s what I wanted to do. Almost 50 and still play drums in a metal band. Great reaction!
I love Lex's excitment! She could drive the depressions out of me 😆
I'm a fan of the channel. I like watching the reactions because you guys are totally opposite. Brad is so analytical, looking for the meanings of the song, while Lex is more playful, letting the music move her. Most of the 80's music didn't have the greatest lyrics, it was more about the music and the theatrics of the show. Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, were all great in concert. Really put on a show!
One is "brain", the other one is all showbusiness. They level up the content.
Brad nails the lyric meaning right off the top. It is in fact about an adrenaline junkie.
They were one of the wildest groups and their off stage antics we just about uncontrollable. They probably also hold the record for most band members to have made a porno.
All true facts.
The Heroin Diaries by Nikki cover this time period - should be required reading.
What what? Who all besides Tommy?
I actually understand what Lex is saying. The way Vince Neil and Michael Jackson project their voice and where it resonates within their physical body is very similar.
This was what we called "Glamrock" when I was in HS, when this band was HUGE! Twisted Sister, Whitesnake, Guns n Roses, Scorpions, Poison, and Skid Row to name a few...good times, great music!
Nikki sixx (the bassist) was a heroin addict. He had a tough childhood so he got into drugs to feel. “Kickstart my heart” is about him overdosing and actually being pronounced dead for about 5 minutes, but a paramedic refused to give up and gave him two shots of adrenaline to his heart saving his life.
The Crue takes me back to my teens. I blared Dr Feelgood from my cassette deck in my 1980 Ford Mustang. I thought I was cool but the stereo system was worth more than the car was! These guys were the embodiment of Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll. This song is about Nikki Sixx’s drug habits. Nikki wrote a book about his insanity in his book Heroin Diaries. They little mixed thoughts of his during his time shooting heroin and cocaine and the madness it took him to. He’s part of a group also call Sixx AM that do the soundtrack to the book. It’s awesome check it out
OMG Lex, your jammin and groovin to this song was SPOT ON. I feel like everybody who listens to this for the very first time, and loves it like you do, reacts to it JUST LIKE YOU! 👍
YOU ROCK!!!!
it would be great if u can react to Skid Row - 18 and Life
You guys should do some old Crue. Shout at the Devil, Looks that kill, LiveWire.....
Yes adrenaline junkie. This is my favorite Motley Crue song for that reason it gets you hyped
Whenever this song comes on the radio you got to put your car on cruise control or you might find yourself driving a hundred miles an hour! I'm not a particularly big Motley Crue fan but I really like this song.
You need to check out Tommy Lee the drummer playing drums upside down and react to that. Too many Crue songs to choose from older Crue the better loved the whole Shout at the Devil album
If I remember correctly, the inspiration for the song was the fact that Nikki Six their bass player was doing heroine at the time and died twice before he quit and EMTs had to shock him till his heart started. So Nikki Six literally had to have his heart kick started.
lol Lex really seemed to enjoy this one, great reaction. Too bad the Michael Jackson comparison part threw Brad off I suspect that ruined it for him haha. These guys were huge just before I hit high school - great memories.
I love her energy and positivity in all these videos. You can’t help but smile watching Lex.
The base player and lyricist comma overdosed on heroin and died that's what this song is actually about they had to kickstart his heart with adrenaline.
Yes Brad it is adrenaline junkie song and yes Lex it is a fun song.
"Hair Metal" was designed to draw in the female audience with lyrics, love ballads, teased hair, make up and enough toughness not to lose the male audience.
I remember and lived the 80's.
Brad got butt hurt about that MJ comparison 🤣 Can’t get enough of these two and the reactions! I’d like you guys to react to monkey business by skid row. It’s a kick ass song that’s a lot of fun and if you can figure out what they’re trying to say I’d appreciate it! Their lead singer had one of the best technical voices of all time and sang operas. I think the reaction would be awesome 😎
Motley Crue was the first band I saw live and it was this albums tour. 🤘🤘🤘
Brad, that eye roll my man when Lex was jamming out. You guys are the best! Love coming on here and watching your reactions! Keep it up you two, you rock! This is the first song on my cardio workout mix.
MJ actually sounded good live... Vince only sounds good in the studio.
Yeah. If you were going to a Crue concert, expect a great visual experience with a lead singer missing half the words, singing off key and getting the crowd to sing half the song.
She REALLY needs her own channel.
I think they compliment each other well, its what makes thier reactions so funny, thier opposites.
@@cadenblackmodding5542 The same thing ran through my head watching this. She steals the show, but I think it wouldn't be the same with her on her own.
@@TonyTigerTonyTiger Agreed, they compliment each other well
She just lets out her thoughts no stop or pause Lex I respect that ! Brad hold on to your seat ! LOL
haha, Brad getting annoyed by the MJ comparison was hilarious! I agree that comparing the voice to MJ is a little bit out there, but I think Lex was just referring to the vibe.
I like "Home Sweet Home" the most out of all their hits.
Lex is spot on with her analysis! Love your guys channel, love the energy of Lex and your guys chemistry is great.
that is one the most fun songs to play on the drums. Took a while to get that snare rolling bit down with the emphasis on the downbeat. But tommy lee was one of the biggest influences on me growing up to want to learn the drums. Lee, Ulrich of Metallica and Robert Sweet of Stryper were they guys I really looked up to.
I can see Lex genuinely getting into this. Hell yeah girl! 🤘🤘
"middle school gives you bullies" no truer words have ever been spoken. 🤔🤯🤕
I cant be more jealous of Brad.
Really?
@@terri2058 yeah... really. Lex is a huge vibe.
MOTLEY CRUE - Wild Side (official video)
cheers!
God so much strippers and drugs when me and my friend rented a beach house for a week in Padre. We played this song religiously during our coke days. Ended up with KIDNEY STONES but so damn worth all the fun we had. That pain was unimaginable though.
Great band of that time! Skid row is another you gotta hear. I remember you”
Motley crue..."Shout at the devil " goes hard
Hands down the 2 best Motley Crue songs are "Live Wire" and "Wild Side"
Can we see Lex doing rock reactions seperately, like by herself? The instant negativity and 'here we go' attitude from Brad is just a total downer...EVERY time, it's getting old. We get you want to listen to rap bro, we get it...by why spoil it for Lex, every time? That's just so wrong on so many levels...
I like this idea!
The reason why I love these reactors is the chemistry between them. It's great when they argue about what they like about a song. It would be boring in the long run just seeing Lex alone since she's positive about most songs. She digs the music and headbangs like crazy and he is more analyzing, a perfect combination in my view.
@@TheUnderdogDe nothing wrong with analysing and focusing on lyrics, but when you instantly dismiss something and moan, groan and condescend the entire way through refusing to even give a style of music a chance it completely ruins it for her... this vid was a prime example. At least if Lex doesn't like something she at least has the courtesy to let him enjoy it without moaning and whinging coz it's not her 'style' the whole time... just let the girl enjoy it without being a negative grump the entire time!
this song would sound good as a Frank Sinatra “Big Band” cover…Lex is right about it sounding like a 50’s song
That was unexpected but she may be on to something.
This song was named after bass player Nikki Sixx overdosed and actually died in the ambulance, the EMT's shocked his heart back to life, Dec 1987
Lex that take was egregious. The Michael Jackson of rock is Freddie Mercury.
Cruising in my Z28 at 153...Oh yeah, Babbbby! This song is probably responsible for more moving violation fines than any other song in US history. I fkin' love it.
Stumbled across your channel after falling down the youtube rabbit hole of recommendations after recommendations.....
Have watched a few so far, and really enjoying them.
Y'all seem like a lot of fun.
Great job!
I never gave a Rats A#$ about lyrics...a song either moves you or not BECAUSE of the SOUND and or BEAT...Period !
Soda pop? What are you, 75? Bahahaha. Get with it Grandma, I'm 53 and still jammin out lol...
🤯🤣🤤
I find it interesting you mentioned playing this song on the way to school.
I used to listen to Guns N Roses and Meat Loaf on my cassette player every morning while I walked to school. My favorites from each are Patience (G&R) and Two Out of Three Ain't Bad (Meat Loaf)
Fun fact: motley crue is the favorite band of paris jackson, daugther of michael jackson
Hahahaha...Lex, love your enthusiasm. You have energy girl ; )
Count how many times lex asks brad “you know what I mean?” And brad is like🧐no 😆😂😂
Lex is the best female reaction personality out there I’ve laughed so hard and had to watch some of reactions over and over she’s the best
check out Weird Al Yankovic "I'm Fat"
Is Brad Dead??????!!!! He has the worse reaction and most horrible (lack of) reaction face ever on the planet!!!!!! She nailed it , and he’s sleeping hat the wheel! She d be a hoot at a party, and he’d be in the corner sleeping! Brad you definitely lucked out with her,, count your blessings
When they try and decide the greatest riff rock has provided, this has to get a mention.....
I've also heard it described as the "sugar fix of rock n roll."
Lex is clearly feeling the rock in all the rock relations, Brad it hit and miss. It's cool buddy, I love this music and don't feel other stuff. Just try to tap into the energy
Only thing I know of the Crew, involves a lady named Pamela, a drummer and a boat 🤔
