Red or blue, bike greases are so vague about their specifications, claiming all the fancy words. Long lasting, waterproof, superior performance...
All you need is a a NLGI 2 grease with EP properties.
Lithium greases are so popular that there is no point of suggesting something else.
Not all greases are compatible each other tho. If you stick with a brand lets say shimano grease, just buy the green stuff.
I personally have shimano grease, parktool hpg-1, mobil xhp-222.
Only mobil includes technical specs of the grease and actual information about properties that used and I filled my grease gun with xhp222.
Funny thing its at least 5 times cheaper than shimano and 8 times than parktool.
Just get a quality brand marine grease or general purpose grease.
Also please use grease port 1:28 on suspension linkage..

My take? Both work really well but you'll have to have a regime to service that do not take their service recommendation interval because rides differ from weather to weather.

Blue for bearing(aqua resistance and red for assembly) got those from the LBS that uses the same brand for all their services.
