Great on the non polish it will dissipate heat better than polished ones because polishing closes the pores of the material thats why cylinders are left as cast the little dimples and hollows also cause swirling of air flow. Looks great.
The little badge on the timing cover….. I saw a brass one on instagram that says « all parts falling off of this Triumph were made in England « …….I wish I’d seen it before I put the new standard badge on…….
Hi; thank you for that DIY technique. May be difficult to find and rely on a piece of something that actually be true flat. Here the problem are the machinists...so
The textured covers are growing on me. What year is that engine? The gear box outer cover doesn't seem to have that fin that sticks out on the bottom front right...the one that makes getting to the speedo cable connection really difficult.
@@dirtyshirtrichter8647 wow, that looks great, like it came out of the factory that way. Getting to the speedo cable on my 64 TR6 is tricky (unless i take that cover off.). I have a very mild oil leak in that area, but best I can tell the oil is coming out of the crimp on the cable itself, not the screw on connection. One small drop might appear on the floor every few weeks... so I'm leaving it be for now.

Texture looks awesome on the covers!
Most dowels can be remove damage free using spiral type "easy outs".
Waiting for part 4…..🙏
Excellent video! Thanks.
Are you running reduced air pressure on the needle gun? Will you stress relieve the inside of the castings?
The texture looks rad especially with the blending - also, get a pair of Vampliers and save your cutters.
