  • Frontline Emergency Vehicle Conversions have put together this brilliant video of the Digital 100 Watt Low Frequency Rumble Speaker, demonstrating the low frequency rumble tone provided by the 200 Watt Digital Siren (MCS-DDSA).
    The speaker utilises the 'ground effect' producing penetrating/vibrating low-frequency sound waves that can be physically felt. Highly effective in dense urban environments with heavy vehicle traffic, getting attention and clearing traffic more effectively than a standard siren tone.
    This unit can be used independently or simultaneously with other siren speakers to produce multiple tones.
    Please note that this speaker is only compatible with the MCS-DDSA 200 Watt Digital Siren!

    It's a total bummer we don't have these Standbys here in the states. They sound like a cool cross between a Whelen and a SoundOff.
    And that phaser tone... **chef's kiss**

    I’d love some high quality siren tones recorded up close on the tube speaker and normal cone speaker. Also the bullhorn variations.

    Very cool and unique siren! Big fan of the Standby sirens, especially the S09. Wish we had em here in the US! Great stuff!

    This is an awesome rumbler siren. I have never heard one in person but from the videos i have seen on youtube, they sound incredible. I hope to see the rumbler used on all emergency vehicles in the UK :)

      Thank you Plio! We can attest to the Rumble Speaker being even more impressive in person as it can be both heard and felt 🙂

    Low Frequency sirens are not recognized by any regulatory agency in the USA, therefore these devices are good at producing noise

    Do you offer digital sounds files of the your sirens to make for games?

    Can you ask the installers whether there is a minimum pipe length from the driver to the flute end which is needed to give it the screamer sound or is the sound tone not dependant on the pipe length?

    • @StandbyGroupUK
      @StandbyGroupUK  Год назад

      Hi James, thank you for the enquiry!
      I've spoken to the technical team, the pipe extension that we offer comes with 1m of hose which is the longest we would recommend as to not reduce the decimal output from the speaker.
      Anything less than this shouldn't change the tone in any way.
      The speaker sound is directed to the front of the vehicle so may seem more directional than a traditional speaker fitted with a cowl.
      Hope this helps!

    What siren amplifier is that using? Premier Hazzard 200watt? Seems quite loud

    • @StandbyGroupUK
      @StandbyGroupUK  Год назад

      Hi James, it's the Standby RSG 200 Watt Digital Siren (MCS-DDSA) producing both the regular and low frequency tones bit.ly/SBRSG-MCS-DDSA

      @@StandbyGroupUK what speakers were you using to get those squealer tones or is it not the speaker that determines the tone sound, but the amp?

    • @StandbyGroupUK
      @StandbyGroupUK  Год назад

      Hi James, I've checked with the vehicle installers and they used our Siren Pipe Extension and Speaker Kit for this build which provides volume equivalent to the traditional 100 watt output bit.ly/SBRSG-Siren-Pipe-Extension-and-Speaker-Kit

    • @jamesziggy1615

      If you’re using a 200 watt amp did you use 2 x100 watt siren flute speakers?

    • @StandbyGroupUK
      @StandbyGroupUK  Год назад

      This installation included 2 x 100W speakers and 1 x 100W Low Frequency (Rumble Speaker).
      When the Rumble Speaker is activated, it switches one regular speaker over to low frequency, making normal operation 200W and Rumble operation 100W regular and 100W low frequency.
