For people of a certain age I can understand still following them. There's then the people who were fans before the original line-up split but I fall in between. My mom bought me the "I was made for lovin you"/"Hard Times" 45 rpm when I was a little kid, it was a huge hit here in the USA at the time. I was too young at the time though to really be a fan. It was several years later when I really became a KISS fan & a fan of hard rock/metal in general. Asylum was the latest KISS album out at the time so I'm not a KISS purist or anything but after the original line up got back together I had no interest in seeing them in make up without the originals. Hearing Paul struggle through songs & at times Gene too I thought it was time to stop awhile ago.
I cant honestly remember hiw many time i have seen KISS... ALL I know is i will be there on December 2 the last show at MSG!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! BTW have met KISS in makeup amd Paul and Gene wo the makeup, and it's a total difference with the makeup, i am getting excited!!!
@rikkihalloweenie7742 yes it is, I mean I was 53 when I met them in makeup and I was freaking out and was like a child in a candy store! Also had the opportunity when they opened up the local Rock and Brews, what's a night! But with them in makeup, full stage presence was so amazing I will never forget that! Again thank you for sharing and bringing back some special memories!!!
You're so welcome! I have a bunch of friends around your age I met through KISS and they still get teary . It's so fun looking back at these vids too, they bring me so much joy, being able to go back and watch and feel like I'm back in that moment, the KISS KRUISE in 2018 was by far one of my biggest kiss highlights 🥲
@rikkihalloweenie7742 nice!!! Kiss Kruise I did not get to experience and sorry I missed out on that! I have a M&G with Gene and have his axe bass signature experience but covid came along and several cancelations on my part so that too is on hold, I do have the chance to have him sign the bass with video personalized in the works so there's that. I am a bit disappointed in that the last show there is no M&G and no fan interaction before but I understand they want it low-key for this show. I have been a fan since the first show I saw them, 1975, and am so excited to see them on the last show ever on a major tour, excited and sad that this is the end....
I've literally just booked a meet and greet for their last ever uk show, been a fan since 1979,and seen them quite a few times but watching your video just made it real!
When i saw kiss in '77 we stayed in the same hotel in philly ...when my dad pulled up their limos were right in front of us and as we watched they jumped out and ran in chased by a few screaming chicks...if i couldve met them then it would have been the crowning event of my life unfortunately my dad didnt want to seek out where they were posted up after the show...ac/dc opened up the show Bon Scott#01
The picks gene actually uses onstage are called Hecro picks. They’re plain grey gripped picks with his signature stamped into them. I’ve worked for kiss locally for years when they’ve come to the venue I work and I’ve been fortunate enough to get TONS of their picks but my prized one is a gene hecro with a bloody thumb print on it.
I’ve seen Kiss twice; first time was Liverpool, UK (where I’m from and live) for sonic boom tour in 2010 and in Birmingham in 2019 and both were emotional for me. Getting tickets for this year and thinking about doing the vip experience. Would you recommend the vip? Thanks mate! 😁
Omg yes and yes! I just went with the cheapest VIP, you get to see them beforehand with no makeup , they do a Q&A and play some deep cuts, songs they don't play in the big set make sure you wear comfortable shoes because you'll be on your feet all day they're is a lot of waiting around but definitely worth it !! Have so much fun!
I have a question! What they check you before entering the meet? just the payment order? They give you something before or that same day in the arena they give you everything?
I'm not sure if they are still checking for covid, but they did a quick test before going into meet them, you can only have a bag the size of or smaller than a A5 sheet of paper.
Gene looks like an armor-plated meatball with his gut held in with elastic straps, Milli Stanilli miming just about everything, boring setlist and two cosplayers. Call that going out on top?
Best two grand I ever spent ,seeing my childhood heroes in there costumes for the last time.. best believe I never regret it for a second... Memories are worth more then money sometimes..
j'arrive pas a croire que c'est fini 😥, je n'ai pas voulu aller a leur dernier concert a Paris . Deuce restera ma préférer pour toujours 🤘🏼💜
Awesome. Video with one of our favorite bands kiss

I was considering it but it's far too expensive....plus i heard they dont sign personal items anymore...that's absolutely shit.

come out okay go see ya , 2 grand out of your pocket lol

Fake Frehley and Cheater Criss😅
Woah, so they don't even say "Hi" or shake hands anymore? That's insulting
Gene touched her, looked really kind
Right? I’ve seen a few short of these recent meet and greets, and Paul Stanley looks like he’s disgusted when in the presence of fans.
They were running late and doing a lot of tv press .. paul just wanted to get on stage
I have had nothing but beautiful interactions with Gene! He is so lovely and has so much time for fans
After hearing about these Kiss meet and great, I'm really starting to like Gene (heard mostly crap about him before) but not the rest of them.
u are not even worth a hello to these people!!!
