When kiss started out in the 70s, they said let’s cover our faces up with make up because in 50 years this will come in handy😂
When I saw Stanley applying his makeup I thought the same thing.
I grew up listening to kiss. My kids even love listening to them .a real legend.awsom

One of my all time favorite bands. It’s sad because I never got to see them in concert, but they’ll always hold a special place in my heart.🖤🤍🖤
I saw them in march 1985 at the LaCrosse Center in Wisconsin for their lick it up tour, they were unmasked, which was cool. I was 19 yrs old at the time. 31 years later I was at the adjacent park to the La Crosse center one evening with my young kids and I noticed all the side streets were filled with cars, so I asked a passerby what was going on. He stated it was a Kiss concert. Gosh, that would have been cool to see them all those years later!
If I'm not mistaken, the ticket price in '85 was $12.50

Saw them all in Edmonton on Friday Nov 10th. Best rockin roll show I have ever seen in my 57 years!!! All the lads did a fantastic job!!! Great final tour!

I remember sitting at my friends house reading Cream Magazine in the mid 70's and he was like, "check this band out." The love was instantaneous I got it immediately. I was too young to really process the macho sort of rock and roll sexuality of bands like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith. I didn't connect with them as a kid, they were adults and I was 13. Kiss was much different. Each character of Kiss was so well defined, so cool, comic book looking and the music was easily accessible to me. Lifetime fan. Every time I hear them I think about the first moment I saw them.
Ich war am Boden zerstört als im Juni 2019 das Abschluss Konzert von Kiss in Berlin Waldbühne war!!! Ich hatte Karten für das Konzert!!! Und am 12.05.2019 breche ich mir mein linkes Bein ( Wadenbein) ,mit OP und 8:Wochen stark eingeschränkt in Bewegung,ich hab geheult!!! Da hat man die Gelegenheit seine Lieblings Band zu sehen und dann war's das durch eigenes dummes Verschulden,bin über meine Vibrationsplatte gefallen!!!

KISS died in 1979, and if not then CERTAINLY when they put impostors in Ave and Peters makeup. They are a BAD tribute band.

@@Mozart1220 Have you actually been to a KISS concert? I attended two… Destroyer in the late 70s and this week in Vancouver. It was as good, if not better than I remembered them. Every era of KISS is great. Eric and Tommy do not get enough recognition for all they've done over DECADES (20 to 30 years!). They are not newbies! Originals will always be “The Originals”… The Greatest. However, times change, people decide to move on and life continues. Every member of the great band is a special part of the entire ride. Why not simply enjoy these guys for the last two months they are prepared to perform for us? Gene and Paul are in their 70s and I am in my late 60s. God bless ‘em all, former and current members.

Cobo Hall, Detroit. Front row. So much confetti were dropped we had it on our sweat soaked bodies, in our eyes/mouth/ears/ for 3 days. So thick you couldn't breathe. It was in my car for a month. That, plus my ears felt "stuffed up" for 2 days as well. On the way home we couldn't hear a thing. It was insane.

I'm a first generation fan of Kiss
I got to see the Animalize and asylum concerts in 1984 and 1985 - they were great then but wouldn't go to end of the road without peter and Ace.
The hours that every Kiss member must do, to apply their make-up?!?!?! That's crazy!

Eric must be a huge Elvis-fan for wearing the TCB⚡-symbol.
He copied the exact thing Peter wore in the 70s so what's sad is he is copying a guy playing an original character Peter Criss created and Tommy Aces guitar tech is playing Ace Frehley the spaceman a character Ace Frehley created why do people accept this? The funny thing is as a kid growing up in the late 60s and early 70s Ace and Peter were the only reason I liked Kiss. Paul I never cared for. I like Peter's voice much better and Ace's guitar playing created the sound of Kiss Gene was okay in his demon costume but to me, Ace and Peter were the talent and heart of Kiss when they left so did I. I only watched to see if they would be celebrated and when they were not even mentioned I was disappointed and the look on Paul's face as he climbed the stairs is how I feel about him what a goof and a loser of a human being and I could care less about how successful and rich he is. The way he talks about and treats the two guys that made him as rich as he has become will come back to him in Karma.
A few people writing bad comments here, but they´ve all watched the video.
Honestly - I be glad, that Gene and Paul are already there - this remnants of the old- and the "new" rock-world are sad enough.
Have you watched the video? Not saying Kiss is bad no disrespect to the music, the video content and the lack of footage in a sequence is terrible. KISS should have had their own people edit this video.

If I could ask Gene or Paul (those two were originally part of the band then) ONE question, I'd ask what they thought of Bob Seger BEFORE they chose him to open for them on tour, (right after the "Live Bullet" album) WHY they chose him, and what they thought of Bob after he finally hit it big.
they probably didnt choose him, he was chosen by the people putting the tour together, the managers etc....kiss prob had nothing to do with it, honestly, especially in those days

Saw several BTS videos where Gene/Sophie are putting on make-up. Gene say it takes, at least, 2hrs put on "the warpaint!"-lol. Although have seen Family Jewels, still in awe how Gene interacts w/Sophie, Totally $tunning young woman, BTW. All the Be$t to the KISS Family!
