I recently had lesson / fitting with Freddie and ended up getting fitted with the kbs max hl shaft It was amazing experience I’ve added 20 yds carry to my drives my swing speed is 95-98 mph Freddie really knows his stuff
You nailed in through the fitting! Goes to show it's always best to test these things out and see what works for each golfer :) That and a bit of technical input and bombs away for you!!
great video again. Can you suggest a low spinning light weight shaft for a 100mph swing? Using a graphite design IZ 6S sometime it draws a little much. Was thinking a black ventus TR as it’s a little counter balanced? Thanks
Not sure about the counterbalance-ness of the Ventus Black TR... I've not seen many left shots with them at all and can't find any counterbalance chat about the TR ...one forum saying balance point is an inch closer to the grip end ....But the tip is so much stiffer and harder, it may need that naturally They do a Black TR 5S and 5X which would be the lightest version of that shaft ...Tricky to really say without testing in your hands ...My rule of thumb is all shaft trends and behaviours in fittings work 7or8/10 times
I just picked up a new House Of Forged Ultra 220 CPM, cut down to 45 3\4 it weighs 46 grams, get this 3° of torque at the tip, put a new Cobra LTD - LS, Put 2- 10 gram weights in the head , Still only C-8 Swing weignt, Its a bomber !!, Keep the good content coming !!
I am using AI Smoke Max with Autoflex SF505 R , 66 yo and SS around 93 mph I have driving distance total of ca 230 y , not much roll out. Would you recommend lightweight Brava with PXG head to achieve faster swing speed , less spin and therefore more distance ?
Ooooooh there's a number of things that could gain distance for you there - I think the Callaway Ai Smoke Max head is a fantastic head ...What loft and loft setting do you use and how far from Milton Keynes in the UK are you?
@@FredzGolfAppreciate your feedback. I am using 10,5 head with -1 loft and neutral setting. I am based in Portugal, but let me check how far you are from Heathrow airport. Maybe I can once make stopover there. Keep good work !
I've got a 35g stiff shaft in my SIm 2 driver , couldn't hit the ball straight at all. Every drive was a slice I've binned it and currently using a 15 yr old Titleist driver lol
You have to hit things yourself and see what suits you ...I start a lot of fittings with a heavy shaft and a light shaft and see what the golfer responds best to.. Tuning in from that is an art as a fitter as every golfer is different
Light shafts 🤔 stiff and light 🤔 seems perfect - but wait - whats that ? A rocket pull ? A high slice ? A bloody fat ! A whiff 🤯🤯 . Not a fan .. heavier , softer and straighteruper thats what us ladies like 👍

I need to get my hands on a House of Forged shaft or 2!! They do sound good eh ...Thanks for saying so ...growth recently has been good!!
Can you compare the Brava shafts to a Ventus velocore shaft? Thanks for the videos!
Yeah absolutely! Be good to see how this holds up against the Velocore+ Blue 5S :)

Hmmmm... Could be too light! was it just bought and clicked in or was it built in to the club? (ie swingweight etc accounted for)
@@FredzGolf I ordered it with the club , i just thought i would be able to swing faster and hit it further ! Back to a 60g shaft for moi !
@colwilson5156 That's a shame it didn't work ...worth a try ...could be you are actually better with more mass in your hands to move
