    I want to thank you for the good explanation. I am currently working on CCNA and thought to learn on the theory first. The further I got into the theory the more illogical everything became. Then I thought let me try it first. I followed and implemented all your videos and it makes a lot more sense now

    What about specific pc vlan10 be able to send to specific pc in vlan 20? Please continue the series. Also the internet, in which you will specify which pc can have internet access.

    at 9:05 "show vlan" shows all ports, however when trying this it does not show all connected ports, they are defaulted to trunk, and do not show. They seem to require being set to access mode before they appear here. Packet tracer V8.2.1

      You do go on to enable switchport mode access on all of the ports and set the vlans, but i noticed that every port was on vlan1 to begin with on your lab, whereas PT doesn't do that by default, at least not in the latest version anyway. thanks for a great tutorial!

      Switches don't have ip addresses, routers do

    But the trunking was too fast
