Congrats on your new car! great looking car. I took delivery of M240i 2023 less than a month ago and have about 550 miles on it. My dealer salesperson told me there is no need for break in for those newer car so i pushed hard on it. Perhaps M car needs break in? What do you think?
Very nice! Yeah there is the standard BMW 1,200 break in period. Now with the M cars, you have to get into the dealer at that 1,200 mile mark so they can do their “running in service” which is oil, diff fluid change and then they go through all their other checks to ensure the car is operating as it should. Bmw has voided warranties if you don’t take it in by then, so I was in at 1,190 miles lol. Your M240 doesn’t have to go in at this mark, but I waited to the 1,200 miles on my M340i before taking it to redline.

Congrats brother! I've had my M340i for just a week and been loving it, save your DIY videos over the past year for future jobs, already did the reflectors. Was wondering tho, the break in period is only 1200miles? That's not bad at all, I'm currently at 1700kms so about 300 more and I should be good.
Thanks man! Yep 1,200 mile break in, then I will be taking it in for the service at that time (oil, diff fluid etc)

Wow!!! Looks Fucken Amazing!!! But then again it cost over 100k so it better!!! I would have gone with the sunroof.... So what are you doing with the M340? Selling or trade?
I didn’t do the sunroof since it takes away the full carbon fiber roof…which looks great on the marina bay blue 👍🏻

Yeah 2023 the last F90 before BMW switches to the G90 M5 Hybrid
