  • Copperplate Script probably has one of the most potent rhythmic sounds when it comes to ASMR.
I will warn you it it not for everyone but if you get it you will be shivering through the whole nearly 10 minutes.
You can read what I wrote, it tells you why I decided to do this, or you can just sit back, turn the volume up and let the crackling over take you.

Ink - Monteverde Ink - Caribbean Blue
    Paper - Bienfang Marker Pad

I know you must get this said so frequently that it has little meaning, but I am in awe of your command of so many differing script styles. I have been fascinated by calligraphy since I was a small child. I would stare at reproductions of illuminated manuscripts in utter wonder. I was blessed to learn italic at a time in the 70’s when there was a small renaissance of hand lettering sprouting up but so little instruction material was available. Had I the opportunity of watching lettering masters then I might be infinitely more skilled than I am. Thank you for sharing your expertise. It is so beautiful to watch you execute the strokes.

Wyoming Munchkin I am glad the work inspires you. I love historical scripts. They are what really make me excited. I studied English Palaeography and that further bolstered my love of manuscripts and the scripts therein.

Fermi Paradox I have yet to watch it. I will post another video tomorrow about a programme I will be on on Thursday morning on the radio. I was looking for the end of the clip and listened to that is what made me do this one.

    Hi
Absolutely love the videos. Can you let us know which brand, model nibs and ink you recommend for Copperplate.
also could you do a video on ways to stop the nib spattering and picking up on the paper itself when doing the up strokes. that would be awesome.
    Cheers
