Brahim needs to be rotating with rodrygo, it's obvious he can more than compete in the squad.

We can't keep saying "But Arda Güler is only 18." We bought him with the "promise" of giving him minutes. I know he got injured, but there has been PLENTY of chances to give him 10-15 minutes, but Ceballos and Modric keeps getting them. Arda isn't slow, he would have made a lot more sense than Ceballos as a sub
They are senior players. What would happen if Arda didn’t do well in a tight match and we lost? You’d be happy he played while other players would come for his throat and ancelotti’s for letting an 18 year old touch the field.
You Futsal have short memories Rodrygo and Cama barely got minutes under Carlo their first year. Be patient he needs to find a role he doesn’t have one yet.
It is a close title race. I’m mad that we didn’t bring up Carrillo as cb and instead playing g carvajal but we did fairly well dominated and almost won. But if Carlo put in Arda and we lost or tied there would be plenty of ppl saying “why didn’t he put in vini, he was warming up and we needed to score we should’ve risked him”

I don’t even remember if Modric played or kroos. But how would it look if Modric was left on the bench for Arda? How would it look to the fans? How would it look to Modric?
It literally just shows that you guys never played sports growing up and def not at a high level. Everyone wants to get onto the pitch. The reason, you get young players on the roster sometimes is for depth, and they don’t mind not playing. Look at Vasquez he understands what his role is, and it’s to come when he is needed. Arda is in the position where he can’t complain and that’s perfect for the squad rn. Next year he will have more opportunity. There will be end of season matches when we are still in ucl and have tied up la liga. Garbage minutes and we need to be rested. He will find it there stay calm and chive on
Typical of Carlo to take MotM Brahim off instead of Rodrygo, who played another weak match. Carlo has his favorites and always takes players off in the same order.

I thought Rodrigo was good. I hoped it was a tactical decision to play him instead of Vini because I think Rodrigo was a lot better than vini would have been.

I think Vazquez deserves a MotM on this one, he almost played a perfect game. I’m glad he’s doing great this year as a right back. Took him a long while to adapt perfectly to this position. Even his defensive contribution has been stellar in the past 2 games and when Carvajal was injured in December. Atletico even made more attacks from the left back position in order to have any attacks going from the wings, they couldn’t get pass vazquez, and chose mendy’s side instead! Let that sink in
Mendy's technique is that of someone who looks like he doesn't know how to handle tha ball at all, and I think that's what's makes him so hard to stop at times ;D

Nacho is finished, we needed more width at the end
Either one of Brahim or Rodrygo should’ve stayed on or Vini should’ve been brought in. Joselu was left all alone up top with just mids behind him and no one that had any speed or dribbling threat that could really break down atm’s defense. Carlo should’ve worked towards the 2-0 rather than holding the lead.
I think we need our yearly wake up call for Carlo. I hope he takes this opportunity got future games and makes better subs in the future. Big picture though, we drew against the only team we’ve lost to this season with MAJOR players out. We move and we’ll be fine, Hala Madrid!!
If the ball was with kroos/modric in 92nd minutes, they would have not loss the ball. It was 2 min left to kill the game. You have joselu in front. Where was camavinga trying to take the ball?
Sadly Arda has to go through Carlo mood like brahim did earlier season because we all remember brahim was also behind ceballos and Lucas! I hope Arda gets his chance!

Nacho was lost on both goals very poor, Ramos at his current age 38 is miles ahead of Nacho at 34 yet we said we dont need Ramos or another CB
The Brahim flick, Brahim could have easily back heeled into spaced but he flicked it mid air while Rodrygo is in between 3 players. I don't know what Matt is trying to say here? My criticism of Rodrygo/Vini is that they rely too much in technique instead of instant finish to catch goalie unaware. In his shot from Fede pass, you could see Oblak position himself 3-4 times as we had 4v3, goalies rely on positioning & reading of the game, Vini & Rodrygo should finish with the left more & not just on technique/power all the time.
Also, you are forgetting how shit our defense was & Rodrygo had 2 clear defensive actions that saved us big time. People only focus on Brahim cause he had 2 nice dribbles & the ball ended up to him in nice position to score. Brahim's game over all was not that much better than Rodrygo.
Lucas Nacho Modric Kepa need to go after this season
Lunin was always better then Kepa he should be undisputed starter hes had to keep behind Nacho & Carvajal as CBs that says it all
