yep..he was unfocused becuase of his mothers death and when he got punched.he still continued the show.and between the show he was taken to the hospital but he died
his apendix burst some people think it was because he was punched there so it burst but no one is sure even though people say he died during a trick that is not true

He died of a peritonitis resulting of appendicitis in Detroit Michigan Grace hospital room 401 1:26 pm Oct 31. 1926.
He didn't carry keys around with him. Police made him take off all his clothes and go into an inteerogation room with 11 handcuffs on him. There were some on his ankles and some on his wrists. He escaped out of that room, with no handcuffs on at all! So, how did he carry keys around with him? If he could get out of them withou the key, why would he carry a key around? My point exactly, he was not a normal person. Of course he didn't have supernatural powers or something like that.
Well I know what really happened he was backstage setting up and he could take any punch u know well a fan asked to punch him he wasent ready the fan punched him and his ipendics burst so he failed the trick was rushed to the hospital and died there that's what happend
@rentslave Hey it was 1945, not that that's much of an excuse for keeping Houdini and his wife apart in death but I've got jewish and gentile relations that I have no problem being buried with when the time comes although there's a few I'd rather flush their ashes down the toilet than be exposed to them ever again.
