I'll be going to Tokyo in around 2 weeks. Can't wait!!! Videos like yours both give me some confidence as a first time solo traveler and also keep me hype for my trip :)
I was there two years ago and I did get "Lost In Shinjuku Station." Your video is helpful, but I fear that next time I will get lost again, due to the many turns and platforms. One good thing, there are many places to eat and rest.
This is really helpful. Will be back in Tokyo as a Solo Traveller and I cant wait to explore next month 😊 I love Japan that’s why I keep on coming back 😊
Last time I was at Shinjuku station I got lost for 1 hour... 😅in May I will return to Japan and have to take the night bus from Shinjuku station... hopefully I won't get lost again 😅
I got lost too, and after a while of following the crowd I had to ask a lady at the information booth how to get out to the street. I started at the taxi area, went down a long shopping hallway, following the salary men. Then dead ended and went to the left and went down a long escalator to a sub floor and then gave up. Finally, after asking for help, went up some long stairs an surfaced on the street near the bus terminal. Thanks to that spiderweb building I got my beaings and deadheaded back to the hotel. Never made it to Shibuya that day.
This is awesome! Please also vlog and guide us step by step how to book/buy bus tickets from the Shinjuku Station for future Mt. Fuji climbers. Thank you!
Hi just watched your video and thanks for the comprehensive tips and directions. Im feeling pretty nervous too like tge rest. I wonder if you can share with me direction from Shinjuku stn (coming from kanaai airport on JR) and my hotel will be at HOTEL SHINJUKU WASHINGTON
Hello, thank you for your video. One question: if since 2023 covid restrictions (including mouth covers) were removed, why are there many using it. Thanks in advance.
Very helpful !!! Inside the Shinjuku Station where can I buy an IC Suica Welcome card? It is a big station, and I do not see where is the desk to buy a Suica? Thank you !!!
From Shinjuku it shouldnt be too hard, look for the company Odakyu. Our recommendation is the Odakyu romance car. For Kawaguchiko I think you will need to go to Ikebukuro first, then you will find the Kawaguchiko line here.
This is a very informative video . I hope I can find my way to Omoide Yokocho tomorrow . Btw do you know is there any restaurant/cafe that is open for lunch and early dinner from around 11am in Omoide Yokocho?
For Shinjuku station it will be on the west or northwest area of the station. However it will be closer to Higashi Shinjuku Station or Shin Okubo Station! Let us know if you have any other questions.
@@Howzit_japan hey man, thanks for the reply, I figured out it is near higashi shinjuku, can i transfer to higashi shinjuku station from Shinjuku station after alighting from Narita express ?!

Can you also guide us on how to go to the odakyu line for Hakone and the Chuo main line for Kawaguchiko in the Shinjuku station?
From Shinjuku it shouldnt be too hard, look for the company Odakyu. Our recommendation is the Odakyu romance car. For Kawaguchiko I think you will need to go to Ikebukuro first, then you will find the Kawaguchiko line here.
Can you guide us on how to go to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden from the Shinjuku station?
Sure! So for Shinjuku Gyoen national garden, find an east exit and you will find that there are many signs and it is only a 10min walk.
This is a very informative video . I hope I can find my way to Omoide Yokocho tomorrow . Btw do you know is there any restaurant/cafe that is open for lunch and early dinner from around 11am in Omoide Yokocho?
What prefecture was mentioned around 8:50mins?
Gifu prefecture! It is a lovely place!
Interesting. Google maps has us taking West gate exit to Kabukicho. Is google wrong? Should we stick with east?
Interesting... our gut feeling here is to say you should stick with the east, however I think you should trust google!
Arigato gozaimas.
whats the exit for Granbell hotel shinjuku! thanks
