Not sure which ignition coil to get? Check out realoem.com and type in the last 7 of your VIN to find out the part number for EXACT REPLACEMENT!

When one of them goes bad do u have to replace all of them
If one goes, the others are not far behind. Change the whole set and ensure they are all the same part number and brand. They are usually good for 100Kmi.
Good instructions video. Did you actually change the coils or you were just doing a demo video. I thought I would see the old coils on the ground next to the car 😃
That's it? A Local BMW Auto Repair quoted me $800 for New Coils and Plugs. He did not say what Company made the Coils. Hopefully thye are Eldor. Now that I know what is involed, I'll do it myself.

That "rubber thing" is there to minimize the sound generated by your coils and your injectors. If you want, run the engine with and without it to see how much it reduces the noises generated by the parts i mentioned.
Jo bro!! Nice videos as always. I hope you read this but I've got more ideas for you. 1. How to change the chime of an f30 - for example 2017, MINI Cooper or Rolls Royce (That's better) and 2. Watch for M Performance Tail lights on RUclips, I think they're pretty awesome looking
To make sure it was the coils he should've changed those 2 that misfire to a different cylinders. If those 2 different cylinders gives the misfires and not the previous cylinders than definitely the 2 coils are bad. But if changing coils positions didn't gave you misfire but the same position cylinders gave the misfire at first again then the spark plugs are bad!
How do i know if it’s an ignition coil or injectors causing misfire
@@K1scarcrazy you change and ignition coil to a different cylinder and if the cylinder u changed the coil to has a misfire then there’s a problem when ur coil
Is it hard to change your own Spark Plugs on a F30? I’m at 106,000 miles and never changed them. Shop told me it would be about 370$ for everything.
MANNN its so easy, if you have the right tools, literally 20 minute job..

Hey great video! My 750Li started the rough idle and it gave me an “Drivetrain Malfunction” error...after putting it on the computer it read that I had 3 misfires! Do you think that this should fix my problem as well?

how often do you need change the ignition coils??
Apparently some people say at 100,000 miles, or the lifetime of the car. I dont believe that, and the way I push my car? I'll be swapping these every 35k and changing plugs every 15k after tune. Sticking to 3k oil change interval as well...

No need. Just make sure connector is out before removing coil. And coil is properly seated before putting connector back in.

Stirup Gift older camry don’t run as hot compared to the modern day direct injected cars, these direct injected engines create a lot
more heat killing coilpacks as a result
