You're a legend Josh and really deserve more views/subs for your big ride endeavours. Cheers.
That was epic! I really enjoyed this trilogy. 👍
I love your energy and how effortless you make riding look. I am planning a bike packing adventure with friends, and cannot wait, you are an inspiration.
A proper Manwich…….love it.
Thanks for another cracking trip so lovely to see you having a wonderful trip and cracking editing 🍻
Thanks Josh Another Brilliant Video
One of the best sandwiches you can make I have one every day for my second breakfast at work after riding to work lol
Great ride! 👍🏻💪🏻 loved it
Brilliant
Epic adventure mate well done!! Love your channel 👍
Loved this series Josh . Once again you have demonstrated that the bicycle, truly is the ultimate freedom machine . Chapeau to you !!!
New subscriber! Loved it dude. Man and machine banging out the miles with a smile.😉🖤😎 KTF🙏
The sheep were so cute! 😃
Never met such friendly sheep before 😄
Kudos for planning this route on the fly on your phone!!
Absolutely mesmerised by your adventures. The effort and lengths you must go to in order to organise and plan these routes amazes me.
Great video as always, love them all, cheers!
Next time you come down NCR5 from Oxford, stop off at Proof Social Bakehouse (just 100m off the track but check opening hours first!) at Sandford on Thames for absolutely delicious bakes and coffee! :) Super video as always and particularly enjoyed seeing the familiar countryside near Abingdon. 👍
Massive well done mate ..best Uk cycling channel on YT for me ATB Coops 👍🏻🚴🍻
Josh what a great little series of videos this has been, really enjoyed them. Like someone else said would of been nice to of heard from your mom.
she will feature in the future im sure she wants to come on a bikepacking adventure
I think I missed an episode, I did wonder whether you might visit the smallest pub in the UK, my home town of Cleethorpes. I am not surprised to see you not riding much off-road through the Lincolnshire Wolds - and although there are many tracks in every direction - the country lanes are often car-free and so quiet its easy to hit the tarmac and make a b-line for somewhere else.
Great viewing as always Josh! :)
PS. I don't know if you have ever watched any of my channel, I did comment a while back in one of videos - Yorkshire Dales 300 - I didn't really find it that gravel-bike friendly at the time. But finding with experience with a lot of gravel here in the UK always seems to involve some kind of unavoidable hike-a-bike. Oh and recently rode the North and South Downs Way during the GBE - and you are right on point about the South Downs Way, tough at times, but very rewarding, flowy and satisfying views.
I think it depends a lot on tyre size for the dales 300 i rode with 50mm so felt pretty good. I also think a lot of gravel bike riding depends on experience.
The South Downs is absolutely stunning especially early on a sunny morning. Defo need them climbing legs on though
Huge Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich! Loving your videos. I am curious about your fork mounted bottles. Who makes them? You also had to come to Canada for some bikepacking. We have incredible routes I could show you!
You always somehow manage to make the cars disappear!
Another smashing video. Great music. Lovely scenery. Always learn something new, like the smallest county in the UK.
Thought we would get to meet your mum and compliment her on raising such a fine kiddo.
Hint from an American on the PB&J. Spread peanutbutter on both pieces of bread, then the jam in the middle. Keeps the bread from getting soggy. Cheers
she wants to come on a bikepacking adventure so she will have her own video at some point :D
aha noted for next time :D i got home and still had ham all down my leg 😂
Should of started at your favorite cousins house 😂 literally round the corner from cleethorpes sea front 😂
next time :D
Another great post! A bit of a personal question, and I hope you're not offended by my asking it; but what underwear do you wear?
I'm trying to increase my cycling range, going out more regularly and try ing to go further; but in the warm weather, I can't seem to find underwear that doesn't make me sweat my butt off.
Tried lots of different types, including wicking pants; but you may get a few more miles, but ultimately, not great! Any tips?
Well i wear bib shorts so none (sorry for that image) bib shorts/lycra is designed not to be worn with underwear. If you want to wear more casual clothing then maybe try liner bib shorts underneath
@@KeepSmilingAdventures Thanks for that! I've never worn lycra, and to be fair, there really should be a law against me wearing it. I tend to wear Ron Hill's or craghoppers..
A bit like yourself, I have very fair skin and therefore don't tend to wear shorts of any description. I burn even on a cloudy day.
I had commented to a chap on a different post regarding merino wool underwear; but got a response, basically warning me off that decision..haha.
Anyway, enjoying the post, just upto the bit where you're resting under an overpass after chasing lorries..haha.
Glad to see you're still using the Soloist (think I say that every post). Trying to get one myself, but Alpkit have zero stock until the end of June.
When you were making the decision about purchasing the Soloist; where there any other tents you considered, or was it the only one in the running?
Anyway, back to your post, to watch the end!
Take care buddy 😊
@@timporter8886 Buy yourself some tight fitting lycra bibs and chamois cream! ditch the regular underwear and wear your "ordinary" trousers over the bibs.
Or Mountainbike trousers with a clip in padded liner. Endura for example. I use roadie bibs and std MTB shorts or trousers over. HTH with the ar#se ache. ;-)
Hope your mum was well Josh. Another great video.
Did you put a whole jar of jam and peanut butter on that. I couldnt stop laughing. I'm just waiting for all the comments. How can you eat that crap , how can you sleep without a mattress 😂
Which kind of annoys me, because you have it down to a T and what works for you. Never change mate and keep being you.
🫵😊
minus the jam I dropped all down my leg😂
Aha they just wish they had my sleeping ability. Usian bolt lived on mcdonalds chicken nuggets in the Beijing olympics so my bike diets pretty good really 😂
