Thanks so much! This totally worked for me, I transformed a US MBP with a swollen battery into a German one with a new battery. Selling on eBay and buying a guitar for that…great job sir!
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much for this! My keyboard had deteriorated to the point where the "M" key was no longer usable and the trackpad had lost its click. Got in a replacement top case a while ago but kept putting off the actual repair. This was great! I'm amazed that everything went back together and everything seems to work!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
Your guide helped me a lot. Especially on how to deal with the connectors. Thank you so much.
Very helpful, thankyou! Do you know were could I be able to buy the topcase at a great price? Importing it from china maybe?
I went through the process today -- yay! I only ended up with two unused screws. Oh, and taking apart is always MUCH easier than putting back together :).
Glad the video helped.
does it not matter about keyboard language or track pad? thanks
Hi friend, I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch 2017 with Touch Bar that has an inflated battery as well as 2 keys hard, the "A" and "X" don't work at all. I purchase a new top case with battery, speakers and a keyboard. do you have a shop? I was hoping you don't mind replacing it for me, just like what you did in this video of yours. Thanks a lot for publishing this helpful video. Rigo
So good. Thank you!
You are welcome
This is magnificent, but I'm close to tears after an hour trying to get the upper and lower cases apart. All 6 screws are removed and I see nothing keeping them together. If you've seen this before ai'd appreciate any ideas. Many thanks in any case!
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
