I have a 2023 classic lt. Been waiting a year to get these pipes! Next month I get them!!!!! Also I saw my idle was way to high from this video. Stage 2 is nothing compared. Thanks for this video. I watched it 100 times! Also, that is a gorgeous house and neighborhood!
I did a complete debaffle to my stock pipes and rode it that way for a few months. It's best to get a tuner for that but it still runs fine. Of course the biggest risk is overheating the valves and possibly burning a valve. Anyhow I later did install a Pro Commander V. I'll probably benefit hugely with an upgraded intake also but I was more concerned with keeping exhaust temps in check. So far I have a mild tune until I do get that intake.
Thank you for the video! I have the 2000cc Vulcan and the 900 custom and wanted new pipes for the 900 and you have made my decision easy. Sounds awesome and Thanks again!
great job and presentation bud..they are definately louder but i think i actually prefer the de baffled stock exhaust. to me it sounds more true to the engines sound..
I did - on deceleration. I then put a Dynojet in - but it wasn't the Power Commander V. It was the 3-pot model, and it didn't do much good. If you dyno - go the full route. It'll cost $300 more, but you'll get fully tuned.
Do you have the power commander on it and Dyno I have the VN2000 same pipes have some popping on downshifting. Do you have the baffle inserts in or out.
I did eventually put a PC on it and had it on the Dyno. I will suggest the full PC3 and do not get the 3-pot version. I have the 3-pot version and still get occasional backfire. I do not have the baffle inserts taken out. As it is - 3 hours of riding with these pipes will blast your ears.
LOVE THEM!!! I get comps ALL THE TIME. I get heads turning from HD owners all the time. No bluing at all. The tips did peel after the first season, but that's all that has happened. No rust, no peeling, chipping, nothing. And they are freaking loud. And I haven't pulled the baffles out. I can only imagine --- they'd hear me in Alabama. And I live in Richmond, VA. LOL
Great vid!!!what pipes do you recommend for the buck for v900 classic?road burner pipes are 440$ he said at amazon in 2015, wonder if theyre more than cobra pipes........?do they come in black? the road burners WINS, more deeper/throatier...but the BAFFLES we're pretty good for sure..........do you have a video were to do the baffles like that for this bike? thanks
There are lots of vids on debaff. Easy to find. As for pipes- cobra dragsters are great. Vance Hines are also really good. I like my hardchromes. I like the look the best
I put the road burners on mine 2008 Vulcan 900 classic lt . Fuel injected , I had no back fire runs fine the only thing that pops is my ears on and off lol
I think i like the drbaf the best did it cause any problems. I did stage one today and dont like it. I like stock better but now that its done i think ill like it better if i go aall the way. Any thoughts? Great video.
Loud is better - don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Now.. maybe mine are over the top. Try Vance&Hines. Great sound and not quite a loud. Did not have any issues with the debaffle. The replacement pipes did have some backfire. A fuel module helps - but get a good one as mine is one of those 3-pot modules and there's no proper map for the VN900.
@@vasoftball5 thank you. I did 5 15/64 holes yesterday going to open them up to 5/16 today and then probably go all the way. Who knows. So far i liked them better stock but in your video i like them debafed the best.
Not right away. It popped a bit on deceleration. But my gas mileage went up!!! I did have to get a tuner when I bought a replacement air-kit. (You have to do that.) I got the Dyno 3-pot tuner. Don't get it - it has no map for KW/VLCN. I still get popping from time to time.
www.roadburner.com/models.php?modelID=20 But it looks like they stopped supporting Vulcan 900s at year 2011 for the road burners. And the American Classic II (2.5") stopped at 2013 I think. Look at Hard Krome site as well. But these may no longer support Vulcan models.
Yeah, the neighbors must be really thrilled.
There are no words to how amazing this guy is doing exhaust reviews. I wish there were more of you for all exhausts reviews.
Thank you.
Best test on youtube....compare all....job well done!

Absolutely amazing video! Very well done and nice! i just picked up a 2011 Vulcan 900 Classic L T & those pipes are going on asap. Thanks!
great video! your neighbors must love you
Your new pipes make your bike look and sound gooder.
Awesome vid! Thank you for taking the time to post. For the time being I’ll stick to debaffled, it be to loud leaving the early morning :(
Your did a sweet job showing us the difference.
Outstanding video ! you covered everything right there .
Now THAT is the way to do a comparison ... well done! Ever try set of Smartpartz baffles at all as those are loud.
Boy I bet your neighbours love the new exhaust. Lol.
Lol. You're neighbors must hate you noa!!! Great test and i really like the debaffled sound better, i prefer the lower rumble on it.
LOL!!! I was thinking the same bro!!hahahahahaa
I agree
Great job on the comparison
Great job and great video.
Excellent video. I am getting old, the stock sure sounded fine to me
bet the stock pipes sounded fine to the neighbors too .

Hey, how did these work out? any bluing or peeling of the chrome? any issues with quality?

the dan moto 2into 1 header !
I just did stage one got everything in place to do stage 2 but scared if I need a tuner???
Only if you change the air intake

Where did you get your pipes and how much?
I got them on Amazon. DG HardKrome RoadBurner Drag Pros They cost me $400. Typical price is $425.00
Will they fit on an 07 suzuki boulevard c50t
I believe they sell Suzuki-specific models.
You did any tunning after the installation?

hope you don't have those annoying neighbors that don't like load motorcycles blasting by their house !
This reminds me of those annoying dogs that bark for no reason just because they need to sound bigger than they actually are.
Too loud
