Quick note: the battery case only require 2 cr123A battery to function, however it can store additional two more battery. The GPNVG-18 model will require a mount in order to attach to a helmet. The mount usually will be a l4g24 but some other mount such can also mount the gpnvg if chooses correctly. Also the lenses come separately from the model. Edit: I have been updated that not enough info about the dummy is given so I’ll add things about the attaching process , first the l4g24 mount did arrive. It was a SOTAC l4g24 and it’s performance is neat, however when attempting to mount the dummy I realised that the Wilcox attachment point of the Gpnvg is a tad too oversized for the l4g24 so I did cut out a few material of the attachment point in order for it to mount. I concluded that perhaps a different brand of l4g24 may fit more easily than the sotac (it should be noted that I have a FMA pvs-21 dummy that’s fits perfectly on the sotac so further proving on how sotac’s l4g24 May not accept the gpnvg easily without modifying the attachment point)
It was shown in the video, but I’ll list it here, the battery it uses are cr123a and it’s primarily powered by two of them at each ends, the battery pack can hold up to 4 cr123a however, while only needing 2 to power up.
Hi Dimas, sorry for not replying to you earlier. I unfortunately do not have both Spartan and FMA’s replica of the gpnvg-18, but I feel like it should be around the same weight as the Spartan model.
It has wires connection which makes it quite difficult for conventional detaching, due to the leds being connected directly you’ll probably need to cut some wires in order to detach the pods.
No, as shown in the video, the Fans gear/Spartan dummy uses lens that does not invert the image. The view is of course limited, but still way better for walking around compared to FMA.
@@LoadTACTICS9938 not FMA, in fact the whole appeal of getting a dummy that’s not FMA is the fact that FMA dummy is bigger, less details and can’t see through properly.
Look through normally like a pair of goggles yes, it has no invertion distortion like the FMA model. But if you’re talking about look through and see real night vision then no.

May i ask how bout the weight? Is that more lighter than fma model or same with Spartan model
Hi Dimas, sorry for not replying to you earlier.

they are the exact same as the spartan one i mean from the exact same factory ahah they are litteraly the same
Can you detach the tube housing from the bridge mount ?

No, as shown in the video, the Fans gear/Spartan dummy uses lens that does not invert the image. The view is of course limited, but still way better for walking around compared to FMA.

The dummy nvg 18 really works or is just a toy?
It’s a dummy, of course it’s a toy 😅.
It only has green LED lights inside to simulate the green glow.
The link doesnt work
To be expected, it has been a few years and last I check the dummy was sold out. You can still try to find them as spartan gear dummies too
