    Without flag at the stadium, without flag beside her name, but she did very well to clinch her first GS title. Well done, Aryna. And also congratulations to you, Elena for being runner up in Aussie. You both played the good match for tennis lovers around the world.
    Belarusian must be proud to you, Aryna.

    I legit screamed when she won as though it was me winning! Sabalenka's career has been rocky at times so this was truly glorious to see her finally win a major and cross over into greatness where she belongs!

    I liked both ladies going into tonights game but my hope was for her to win tonight. She has been grinding away doing the work she played amazingly tonight. I'm so happy for her and her team and as an Aussie I can't wait to see her again next year. I hope the rest of the season goes well for them both and what slam will we get a rematch? Oi oi oi 🇦🇺🎾👑🏆💐💯💖❤️💖❤️
    Congratulations 🎊👏🎊

    People can say what they want, even I’m not her biggest supporter at all, but when she is going to play like this, 1GA will not be able to defend one title of her previous season and will be replaced as the number one ranked like 🫰
    Congratulations Aryna and Elena, this was such a great PR for the women’s tennis! 🫶🏽❤️👏

    I never saw women's tennis, but this girl with her power made me fall in love a little over a year ago, she represents the real tennis, not the one played by women, a soft game that ends in 2 sets in less than an hour, strength and power that is modern tennis.

    Sabalenka is most appreciated by me now. I used to just hate her exaggerated grunts and her over emotionally behaviour. But when I watched this match against her complete opposite, her absolute antithesis Rybakina, the coldness queen, I just cannot refuse to relate to what she's been through to achieve her first GS title. I think Sabalenka did something that only champions should be able to do - she overcame her emotions and was focused enough against a very tough opponent.
    Well done Eryna - you deserved it.

    • @sapphire22011
      @sapphire22011 Год назад

      Agree. We have seem so many come snd go over the years with the game to win a GS but their emotions got in the way or they would/could not adapt their game when the A game wasn't getting it done. Aryna appears to have overcome both of these hurdles to win her first major. Time alone will now tell if she can build or continue on from this, or if she ends up like so many women over the past few years who win one GS and then slide down the rankings.

    Great match, we're all nervous wrecks. Rybakina and Sabalenka didn't leave anything out on the court.
    Sabalenka seems quite shy, not the 'hard woman' she sometimes appears, and when she burst into tears, so did we, even though we were barracking for Rybakina.
    The speeches at the end by non-players need to be cut in half. Hardlicker needs to not even turn up.
    Great to see the fabulous Billie Jean King. Bravo BJK 🥰
