Great video. I was deciding between the 1P and 2P and you helped me decide the extra weight and size of the 2P wasn't really necessary for me as a smaller human and a dog who only sleeps ON me. Thanks so much. Again, super helpful video being able to see your sleeping bag and pad inside set up and watch you set up the tent quickly ON video. Everyone else just has it set up already which wasn't what I was looking for. Thank you.
I bought one extra stake to always stake out the head end in case of rain. It definitely helps to pull that out and away as much as possible. Also use polycro for my footprint.
I bought the Nemo Hornet 2P tent. It weights 2lb. 6oz, and has two vestibules. The rain fly on the 2P seems to be longer in the vestibules to provide more shelter than the 1P. Inside is narrow for 2 people, but very comfortable for 1 person and a backpack.
Doesn't come with a footprint, but they do sell one. Since this is geared towards the UL crowd, most people make their own out of Tyvek or Polycro to save on weight. The plastic footprint I used in the video (and on the trail) was Polycro.
Sadly, I haven't backpacked since hiking the JMT last September, so I haven't had the tent out to run it through the ringer. I'm curious to see how it performs as well.

Better than the official instruction
Thank you
I have an og Eureka Spitfire, looks like this might be the upgrade?
Do you have any experience with the big Agnes tiger wall ul1 because for me I’m between the hornet and the tiger wall
Never tried a Tiger Wall UL1, but I have had Big Agnes tents and they're typically pretty great. Sounds like a tough choice!
Nice 👍
Awesome review! Does the tent come with a footprint? Does a footprint need to be purchased separately?

Have you had it in a downpour since posting this? If so how was it?
