Hey, have you ever though of doing a vocal ranking of any British Girl Group? I'm especially insterested in Spice Girls, Girls Aloud and Sugababes(all 6 members). People rarely talk about British GG's vocals, besides Little Mix, and it would be nice to see someone talk about their strengths, weaknesses, supported ranges, etc. I just think this would be an interesting niche to explore.

Victoria hit an B2 in the single version of their song Mama but she's definitely a Soprano (I want to know how good her lower register actually is), Mel B could be a Mezzo, Geri could be an underdeveloped Full Lyric and Emma is definitely a Light Lyric Soprano (like Mel C) and the fandom argues wether she or Mel B are the second strongest. I want to see if I'm right about their vocal types and to know how good they actually are.

Everytime a western-focus channel analyses 1 Kpop male singer, it’s always: D.O . That voice is unanimously beloved. And he didn’t even need to master the 5th octave. 😂 #Talent
@@allykelly Chen & Baekhyun is actually better. Baekhyun by slightly bcus he's more consistent with C♯3. But Chen is much better than the both of them with consistency down to A2/B♭2, which in itself is very impressive & rare for tenors in kpop.

Do has the lightest (and naturally the brightest as well when chen stop incorporate alot of nasality/twang and bright vowels in certain occasions. His natural voice sounds very similar to doyoung and haechan and you would've say none of them remain excellent as low as do voice persistently, especially haechan since he has a type of voice you wouldn't expect to survive down there in equal manner or proper support. Even with that full production, I can still tell his voice is nothing lower and darker than standard light tenor at best and this is already with full chest engagement) among the trio and his voice kinda like sit 2-3 semitones than baek judging their 4th octave (the way do handle his G4/G#4 is basically allign with how baekhyun deliver his iffy F4 or ish)

I don't think he will try to develop his falsetto/head voice that much, it doesn't seems to fit into his singing style. And after all these years he never improved this part of his voice anyway. I'm not sure if he ever will.
If he has a developed lower register which can at least support down to B2, he will be neck to neck with Chen right? I am assuming that's the only register to block him from being comparable to Chen.

The G4 still carried rich chest and fullness it's not just about the openess/resonance u seek 💀 and those G4 were opened just not on the level of David or Jeremy Jordan
Yeah his low octave range is not really gud, his 3rd and 4 th octave is really good though. And he does not use fifth octave very often although he did some of time during MAMA and CMB era and now to in his album but he is not consistent with it. His tonal colour is what I admire the most, lovely voice and gud mix voice actually as gud as Chen.

Keep in mind that chen relies on nasality and brighter vowels which gives an impression of much smaller voice which he absolutely does. Without them to extensive degree, you'll hear much more richer and fuller sounding instrument overall althoguh still audibly boyish and nimble itself). Think him as a male version of bada/winter. That's what exactly he is (funnily enough, their lowest notes cap at F2 but bada is seriously a straight up true high soprano aka 'sopranino' if she had classically trained her voice and her reach right down there is a pure insanity for voice as light as her to the point I started to believe it could be just her exhalation or the effects of pitch shift phenomenon. Whereas it's not that mind-blowing for do simply becuz he's a guy and usually more comfortable with lower extremes as well prolly display more developed chest voice too). So him having relatively weak 2nd octave lows supposed to be forgivable however considering this is not even close to his strongest register nor his forte to invade those lows at first place).

Usually, any tenor voices of larger spectrum should able to make their way down there with much minimal effort) out there but do's voice is almost as high as Vivian's classification-wise (well, the main point of Vivian's having superior lows still stands though) dedicate her whole life to master her skill across all range where do seems to try to keep everything under control/very conservative. His real lowest notes (specifically 2nd octave which are rarely utilized) are much better than any show clips in the vid tho.
