That’s what I thought too a few years ago, but many EXO-Ls recommended me to stan NCT. If I were you, I would start stanning them, a lot of them are actually great vocalists, not just any other vocalists but each of them have distinct tones just like how ChenBaekSoo.

I was never a fan of kpop, I tried to watch many popular groups that my friends recommended but couldn't get through those music that's when I accidentally came across Exo and their voices really made an impact on me. I came to enjoy kpop music and other kpop groups after that but nothing ever impressed me as much as Exo for their content and voice techniques.
Chen's lower register is to die for, too bad it isn't utilized in exo songs properly. It came to the point when people think that he can only sing high notes, when he's actually a king of low notes.
My bias is D.O but I have always appreciated Chen's strengths. I enjoy Chen's lower register but I also noticed that he doesn't get a chance to use it much. When singing together; •D.O & Chen - Chen does higher register •Baek & Chen- Both may use higher register but Chen will do the highest notes. He may be most likely able to use the lower register in his solos.
Normally the lower stuff gets taken by the baritones, which is fair enough. In his solo stuff tho, especially dear my dear, he really shows off his lower register
@@_dont_mind_me nah, Baek and Soo aren't baritones, but they sing low notes in exo songs way more often than Jongdae. Even in recent years SM only started to give him a tiny bit of low notes, but imo it is still not enough

my favorite overall is Jongdae (hence why he's my bias) but ive always been fascinated by Kyungsoo's agility and tone and Baekhyun's head voice is to die for.

They're all so amazing. Chen is probably unarguably the best overall singer and so well rounded and almost technically flawless. D.O has the best agility and runs, his musicality is insane. And Baekhyun I feel like his voice has so much emotion to it and is the most versatile seeing as the genre's hes not afraid to explore and excel thus far. I feel like every day you'd prefer a different voice lmao.
Baekhyun is versatile its true but if you are talking about versatility in genre CHEN is not afraid at all he has already explored RnB,ballad ,pop(with many sub genre),jazz,blue,hipop, rock, edm,funk,folk) he may explore even more in future .
Chen and Baekhyun are absolute showstoppers in their own unique ways… but, if I were to choose to get serenaded by anyone in the world, I’d choose D.O.

I agree with you. I think D.O. he can pull the strings off if he wanted to. He is just so effortless every time he sing. I've watched multiple vocal reactors and most of them were so amazed with his voice.
I strongly disagree with those that say D.O. second guesses himself. Watch any of the exoplanet concerts and specifically watch them perform the same song in different venues - he is actually the one who is most sure of his voice because during live performances he is constantly switching up his ad libs and runs. He is always giving us something new and different from studio version, something interesting to look forward to. An artist can only do that if they are confident in their ability and if they have great musicality. To those who say D.O. can “push more” or “ show off more,” it’s not because he is unsure, to me it is a deliberate choice. You can ruin the vibe of a song and make it sound crowded and unpleasant if you have too many crazy belting, adlibbing and riffing done on top of each other. They’re not contestants on a singing show - they are artists choosing to sing in a certain way to play pff of each other and to play off the vibe of the song and the performance as a whole. The fact that D.O. doesnt go crazy on every single line even though we know he can is a deliberate artistic choice. He can make even the “unexciting“ parts of the song sound absolutely beautiful and soft, the amount of control he has is insane. And even just a beautiful little adlib in any bridge section from him adds so much flavor to the whole song. You cant have three singers popping off all at the same time, thats not what makes a good song and they all understand that. You can see from the recently released Cream Soda Recording Behind the Scenes just how much power and volume D.O. has in comparison to everybody else, and just how full and beautiful he sings the Cream Soda line, much cleaner and fuller sounding than Chen and Baekhyun in my opinion. He was even casually humming Baek’s adlib part during the recording and it sounded so freaking agile and easy and natural compared to how Baek sang it. I love Baekhyun and Chen, too I hate when people say things like this about D.O. Just because he doesnt pop off on the vocals all the time does not mean he is unsure or lazy or doesnt try harder. It means this is how he thinks he will sound best for the song, that is his art.
@@M-de-Vale as someone who is D.O biased, I get what you're saying, but I have noticed that in some of his recent solo performances, he doesn't seem as confident. Kyungsoo's voice is crazy agile and his belting is really good, but I feel like he holds back. That's just my opinion, it's not wrong and it isn't coming from a place of negativity. You can have a favorite and still critique them.
It's always refreshing to see vocalists with excellent lower register and agility because most of the kpop singers are weak in these part of their voices.
exo is a very impressive group. their sub vocalists are already insanely good for kpop groups’ standards, not even talking about their main vocalists. there’s no boygroup in 3-4 generation who is at their level
And very few groups in 2nd the only boy group that surpass exo is actually super junior, shinee and exo are pretty much equals but its Hard to compare a 5/4 member group with a 9/8 member group, but pretty much and, btob is somewhat comparable but but yes

The vocals in 3rd generation is insane that ranking them is hard and highly subjective in my opinion..a lot of them are just too good like you mentioned a few including seventeen, nct and the list goes on. I love Exo, DO is my fav but I have to take Chen and Baek cos they are just too good 😂.. @@mariamakolo9463 what i meant is teqnique Wise, btob is good as a group they harmonize very good but their only very impressive proficient singer teqnique Wise is Eungkwan, the others are good but not impressive teqnique Wise, while super junior shinee and exo has 3 impressive teqnically proficient singers, super junior has K.R.Y shinee had jonghyun they have onew and believe it or not taemin is actually a very skilled singer, and then exo has Chenbaeksoo, and D.O teqnically speaking is the better vocalist between he and baekhyun not by much tho, is Just that D.O has a better teqnique and control in his mixed voice the hardest register to máster

@@mariamakolo9463 changsub can be there as well, but he should improve his mixed a bit he strain earlier than he should for a tenor, the problem comes when people think strained high notes is what proficient singing actually is, when those are Just screams basically, i can understand most people dont have trained ears so they think screaming into a mic actually means proficient singing, and theres even harder things in vocalization than strained high belts for example D.O complex and precise runs and melisma is way harder to do than any screaming high note most vocalist in kpop do, but it dont sound loud and high so kpop fans think isnt as impressive i guess

kyungsoo's voice will always be my favorite. his voice was the first voice that I've fall for, I've been in love with him and his voice for over eleven years. there's something in his voice that is magically beautiful and touching, and nobody can sing like him, he's unbeatable (the only people that can cover his parts perfectly are exo itself). his adlibs, riffs and runs are the most amazing thing I've ever seen in life. waiting patiently for dks2! love exo! ~~
I need to agree to this. D.O's voice is just so amazing. Been so obsessed with his voice and everything he does since 2013. I don't think someone can wreck that. Tho, Chen and baekhyun are also great but D.O's voice is 🤌 His voice is a legend. There's only few in the music industry who can sing like him. That is for me, tho. CHEN AND BAEK = God-tier skills and musicality. But, for me, D.O.'s Tone and Timbre gives me chills. His tone just brings emotion and sets the mood for every songs of EXO. Every song that he started, will always be the cherry on top, a very effective vocalist.
For someone who doesn't have any idea about vocal technique, placement etc, I started to fall in love with the emotions conveyed in baekhyun's voice. And now after almost 10 years of being an EXO-L, baekhyun is still my ult, and the 8 other equally talented boys are my second bias❤

Right!!! I haven’t been a fan THAT long 😭 about 5 years now (wow I didn’t even know that long). Baekhyun is my ultimate bias in kpop and music in general no matter the language for the same reason. His emotions feel amazing to me, but in this video with the three of them, and the whole group in general, they’re amazing. If someone told me to pick my favorite I’d obviously say Baekhyun but if someone told me to pick the best vocalist I’d start sweating bullets (based on the fact that I can tell who can sing and who can’t not actual technique). The entire group has amazing singers. On the opposite end Chanyeol is another favorite of mine. Xiumin and Suho can sing very well, Kai has such a calming voice and so does sehun. They all sing so well. I love how this video doesn’t bash any of them and actually shows their strong suits and shows that they are very strong vocalists overall. I can’t tell techniques and correct vocab but I do get what he means with their voices and I love this video
My bias is D.O. but I would have to agree with all the points made in this video. The reason I love EXO is because of their vocals. Undeniably, one of the, if not the best, vocal heavy groups in Kpop. EXO-L 4ever❤
“I mean it till the day I die” sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. He puts so much hidden emotion in his delivery. It is more nuanced than outright emotion to your face. I also love Kyungsoo’s growl part, I think it was in one of bts clips, it was more impressive than the actual record.
It’s fairly obvious that chen is the best vocalist in exo (and he’s personally my favourite) but it’s also very clear that baekhyun and d.o. are great vocalists which makes listening to exo never boring
D.O always leaves me with goose bumps which only a few artists in this world can do to me. Even if i cant put my finger on why, my soul and body reacts to his voice. All 3 boys is good tough, D.O just has my heart.
The riff notes and adlibs of KSoo in "Let Me In" shows that he never regressed and making progress with times. Of course, Si Fueras Mia is his masterpiece of all time.

They're all insane but I get most feels from D.O.s voice it's just so smooth and gentle, it sounds so effortlessly good and with so much soul and emotion I could listen to him all day. Just the runs on their own are a blessing 😂
If his voice was only gentle he would not be insane he would be a mediocre main vocalist, what makes D.O very good is that he is a very good belter and his tecnique in melisma and agility and a good lower register, strained high notes dont make someone a good vocalist either

My all time favourite will always be Kyungsoo; I’m a sucker for his technique and his heavenly tone, and the emotions he conveys hit me the most; it’s often from the little things he does with his voice, idk, just makes my heart SWELLS. My second fav is actually Kai, there’s smth about his tone that is really really attractive to me and caress my ears in the best ways; then it’s of course baekchen, never could choose between these two, it really depends on what they sing. All in all our three main vocalist are the most complementary I’ve ever seen, it’s actually incredible how they compliment e/o voice and how each excels in one area particularly. Thanks for the vid!!

@@ineeddks stability while dancing only shows stamina. That's why professionals mostly use live singing clips where they're not dancing to analyse vocal techniques. I too have watched all their live stages & Chen is as stable as Baekhyun & Kyungsoo. But congrats you've been with EXO from the start. Keep supporting them.
Yes!!! Thank you for finally reacting to them! Baekhyun is my favorite vocalist too, his emotion level is unmatched. DO and Chen touch my soul too, their skill, talent and hard work for all these years are undeniable, but when Baekhyun does his thing, i can start crying just getting lost in the emotions in his voice, also, his voice tone is my favorite in the vocal line. I wish one day you make a video about the rest of EXO members. They all compliment each other so well and create layers in the vocal part as well as in the music. Suho and Xiumin played in musicals and their theatre vocals are so good. And the baritones of the group who are usually used in a combination with tenors add so much dimension and depth to the overall sound.
Great idea to rank the others, too. Suho is sensational, with a stable, strong vocal. And Xiumin always catches me by surprise when he comes in with this most angelic tone.
First love will be forever Chen. Ult love Kyungsoo. Those two make my heart going up and down like a roller-coaster! Anyway, I have to say that I stan a group full of talent because all 9 of them are really great! Thanks for your kind reaction!
I agree with you!! D.O is my favorite though, we can clearly tell he is not as confident as ChenBaek when singing which makes him a bit inconsistent when delivery. But his tone is definitely what I can die for thats why hes still my favorite and my ult bias
My personal fave is D.O's. Chen is undoubtedly the A-lister vocalist. Baek is the best performer. so happy how these three have their own strengths that compliment each other.
I just love Chen because of his amazing emotional delivery whether its love sorrow seperation affection onesided love sexy platonic death he delivers so well. I really dont know why he is not given more lower parts in group songs . I really like his solo albums that is very emotional .

baekhyun is my bias, but vocally i love them all so much. they have different strengths, and such distinct voices, and it’s amazing that they’re all in the same group. maybe kpop is more about personalities or whatever for some people. for me, i could barely keep up with exo’s other non music activities. but i will always keep up with them because of their consistently good vocals and music! i am so pumped for their killing voice video and cb soon!
8:50 I just want to clarify that Chen spoke in a program (2016) and a magazine (I don't remember) that he damaged his vocal cords and couldn't sing for a week, because each high note tasted like blood in his mouth. And he talked about how he was lenient in not taking care of his vocal chords, but how he couldn't take time off, because they had more than 10 concerts in 1 month. For about four years he can be heard singing a slightly harsh high note. but now he's fine and as a fan it was painful to hear that his precious voice was damaged by over exploitation
My bias is D.O. but I agree with your points. They have areas they could improve, as pretty much anyone, but they are some of the best in the industry currently. I'm looking forward to their comeback, and I hope the song lends itself to their impressive vocals.❤
Kyungsoo's voice always stood out to me the most. I think that kind of voice rarely seen in kpop or in Korea itself. So amazing and it really calms your soul.

I am very sad when many RUclips channels compare EXO Vocal vs BTS Vocal, Baekhyun vs Jungkook Vocal, Chen vs Jungkook, D.O vs Jimin. I'M NOT EXO FAN but you can't compare Professors vs Elementary school kids. BTS may be more famous than EXO (now) but if we talk about vocals, EXO's vocal line is a different level from BTS.
@@ABIGAIListhis95 Good point, however, in my opinion, Chen has the most consistent range especially when singing the high notes live. Baekhyun does have the range however it is less consistent compared to Chen however his vocal color is brighter, heavier and stronger in my opinion.

Jongdae has been my most favorite male vocalist in kpop for almost 10 years now and he somehow still never fails to astound me. His range, his tone, his power. Undeniably the best among the best. Its just been heaven in the ears, stanning exo. I love that these three are all such capable vocalist but also very different from each other and strengthens the group in some part where they lack a bit too.
All of their voices are beautiful and impressive, but Baekhyun will always be my favourite; his voice is so sweet and makes my heart calm. Also, his discography is my fave 🥰 EXO Kings of Kpop!
D.o my favourite all time kpop singer, never heard voice like him even kpop now at 5th gen..u can find other vocalist that can belt high notes like tomorrow but voice like d.o is one of a kind..his solo album really represents him,just use his voice no fancy production at all, really love him for that.. also d.o when singing live is 100% much much better from recording..
Same! He doesn’t need to belt high notes to catch your attention, his velvety smooth voice does it all. I noticed in his earlier days he was given high notes and killing lines most of the time like Baek and Jongdae but now seems like Kyungsoo prefers to sing in his most comfortable range and it’s still as good. @@dkswifeyEm D.O have actually one of the Best belting voices in kpop, arguably tied with chen in that regard specially in the 3rd generation, belting and high pitch isnt the same, most kpop singers in the 4th gen and 5th gen arent belting anything they are Just doing a high pitch noise that sounds like screeching, D.O can actually belt is Just that kpop fans actually think that a strained high pitch note its vocal excellence, for example jongho of ateez by many kpop fans is considered "vocal excellence" because of his extreme pushing of mixed strained notes in the 5th octave thats what i mean, he is good dont get me wrong and have potential, he has a very powerful voice, but technically now hes not that good really and D.O is way better than him
KRY is excellent, but I still prefer EXO as a group. The members of KRY each have some amazing skills. I’ve seen rankings where they were considered the best. But over EXO? IDK. That’s a tough call.

kyungsoo has been one of my fave kpop vocalists EASILY~!! baekyhun is very verstitle, xiumin and chen have such great voices to be educated only on a tv xshow.

And to think Exo was known for their dancing more than their vocals(in south korea) until last years lol I love how the ranking constantly changes and one’s weak area is completed by others which makes them amazing as a group! Did South koreans listened to songs like MAMA or what Is love?? In their literal debut? Literraly most exo songs have incredible vocal focus from the simple things like amazing belts to runs a lot of ad libs many ballads their B sides etc... For “exols” fighting about spots, Chen always come first, his technique, vocal range and more is outstanding, meanwhile BaekHyun and KyungSoo are in the same level, also these categories: lower register, mixed register, vocal agility and upper register. Chen is amazing but his vocal agility and upper register are in third and second place among the three, while his lower register and mixed register are first among the three. BaekHyun has an amazing upper register and he ranks first in that but his mixed register, low register and vocal agility he ranks in second and third place among the three. KyungSoo has a perfect vocal agility and he ranks first on that, while his upper register, mixed register and low register he ranks second and third among the three. Chen among the three ranks first because what I wrote here. BaekHyun and KyungSoo are tied in second and it basically depends on the vocal coach, preferences of fans, and the type of music. All three of them are exceptional vocalists among all kpop, so please don’t start useless fights about who’s better and who deserves the spot more, also stop being childish and trying to humiliate any of the three because you think your fav is better than them.

For me, they tie with Super Junior K.R.Y (of course another one from SM) in terms of vocal capabilities but CBX is superior in terms of song variety.

That’s what I thought too a few years ago, but many EXO-Ls recommended me to stan NCT. If I were you, I would start stanning them, a lot of them are actually great vocalists, not just any other vocalists but each of them have distinct tones just like how ChenBaekSoo.

I was never a fan of kpop, I tried to watch many popular groups that my friends recommended but couldn't get through those music that's when I accidentally came across Exo and their voices really made an impact on me. I came to enjoy kpop music and other kpop groups after that but nothing ever impressed me as much as Exo for their content and voice techniques.
My personal fav is Kyungsoo. He has such a soulful voice, powerful and melodic very suitable for RnB and Acustic pop.
Chen's lower register is to die for, too bad it isn't utilized in exo songs properly. It came to the point when people think that he can only sing high notes, when he's actually a king of low notes.
My bias is D.O but I have always appreciated Chen's strengths. I enjoy Chen's lower register but I also noticed that he doesn't get a chance to use it much.
When singing together;
•D.O & Chen - Chen does higher register
•Baek & Chen- Both may use higher register but Chen will do the highest notes.
He may be most likely able to use the lower register in his solos.
Normally the lower stuff gets taken by the baritones, which is fair enough. In his solo stuff tho, especially dear my dear, he really shows off his lower register

They're all so amazing. Chen is probably unarguably the best overall singer and so well rounded and almost technically flawless. D.O has the best agility and runs, his musicality is insane. And Baekhyun I feel like his voice has so much emotion to it and is the most versatile seeing as the genre's hes not afraid to explore and excel thus far. I feel like every day you'd prefer a different voice lmao.

I agree with you. I think D.O. he can pull the strings off if he wanted to. He is just so effortless every time he sing. I've watched multiple vocal reactors and most of them were so amazed with his voice.
I strongly disagree with those that say D.O. second guesses himself. Watch any of the exoplanet concerts and specifically watch them perform the same song in different venues - he is actually the one who is most sure of his voice because during live performances he is constantly switching up his ad libs and runs. He is always giving us something new and different from studio version, something interesting to look forward to. An artist can only do that if they are confident in their ability and if they have great musicality. To those who say D.O. can “push more” or “ show off more,” it’s not because he is unsure, to me it is a deliberate choice. You can ruin the vibe of a song and make it sound crowded and unpleasant if you have too many crazy belting, adlibbing and riffing done on top of each other. They’re not contestants on a singing show - they are artists choosing to sing in a certain way to play pff of each other and to play off the vibe of the song and the performance as a whole. The fact that D.O. doesnt go crazy on every single line even though we know he can is a deliberate artistic choice. He can make even the “unexciting“ parts of the song sound absolutely beautiful and soft, the amount of control he has is insane. And even just a beautiful little adlib in any bridge section from him adds so much flavor to the whole song. You cant have three singers popping off all at the same time, thats not what makes a good song and they all understand that. You can see from the recently released Cream Soda Recording Behind the Scenes just how much power and volume D.O. has in comparison to everybody else, and just how full and beautiful he sings the Cream Soda line, much cleaner and fuller sounding than Chen and Baekhyun in my opinion. He was even casually humming Baek’s adlib part during the recording and it sounded so freaking agile and easy and natural compared to how Baek sang it. I love Baekhyun and Chen, too I hate when people say things like this about D.O. Just because he doesnt pop off on the vocals all the time does not mean he is unsure or lazy or doesnt try harder. It means this is how he thinks he will sound best for the song, that is his art.

Kyungsoo's voice is crazy agile and his belting is really good, but I feel like he holds back. That's just my opinion, it's not wrong and it isn't coming from a place of negativity. You can have a favorite and still critique them.

@@mariamakolo9463 changsub can be there as well, but he should improve his mixed a bit he strain earlier than he should for a tenor, the problem comes when people think strained high notes is what proficient singing actually is, when those are Just screams basically, i can understand most people dont have trained ears so they think screaming into a mic actually means proficient singing, and theres even harder things in vocalization than strained high belts for example D.O complex and precise runs and melisma is way harder to do than any screaming high note most vocalist in kpop do, but it dont sound loud and high so kpop fans think isnt as impressive i guess

Right!!! I haven’t been a fan THAT long 😭 about 5 years now (wow I didn’t even know that long). Baekhyun is my ultimate bias in kpop and music in general no matter the language for the same reason. His emotions feel amazing to me, but in this video with the three of them, and the whole group in general, they’re amazing. If someone told me to pick my favorite I’d obviously say Baekhyun but if someone told me to pick the best vocalist I’d start sweating bullets (based on the fact that I can tell who can sing and who can’t not actual technique). The entire group has amazing singers. On the opposite end Chanyeol is another favorite of mine. Xiumin and Suho can sing very well, Kai has such a calming voice and so does sehun. They all sing so well. I love how this video doesn’t bash any of them and actually shows their strong suits and shows that they are very strong vocalists overall. I can’t tell techniques and correct vocab but I do get what he means with their voices and I love this video

“I mean it till the day I die” sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. He puts so much hidden emotion in his delivery. It is more nuanced than outright emotion to your face. I also love Kyungsoo’s growl part, I think it was in one of bts clips, it was more impressive than the actual record.

They're all insane but I get most feels from D.O.s voice it's just so smooth and gentle, it sounds so effortlessly good and with so much soul and emotion I could listen to him all day. Just the runs on their own are a blessing 😂
If his voice was only gentle he would not be insane he would be a mediocre main vocalist, what makes D.O very good is that he is a very good belter and his tecnique in melisma and agility and a good lower register, strained high notes dont make someone a good vocalist either

My all time favourite will always be Kyungsoo; I’m a sucker for his technique and his heavenly tone, and the emotions he conveys hit me the most; it’s often from the little things he does with his voice, idk, just makes my heart SWELLS. My second fav is actually Kai, there’s smth about his tone that is really really attractive to me and caress my ears in the best ways; then it’s of course baekchen, never could choose between these two, it really depends on what they sing. All in all our three main vocalist are the most complementary I’ve ever seen, it’s actually incredible how they compliment e/o voice and how each excels in one area particularly. Thanks for the vid!!

Yes!!! Thank you for finally reacting to them! Baekhyun is my favorite vocalist too, his emotion level is unmatched. DO and Chen touch my soul too, their skill, talent and hard work for all these years are undeniable, but when Baekhyun does his thing, i can start crying just getting lost in the emotions in his voice, also, his voice tone is my favorite in the vocal line. I wish one day you make a video about the rest of EXO members. They all compliment each other so well and create layers in the vocal part as well as in the music. Suho and Xiumin played in musicals and their theatre vocals are so good. And the baritones of the group who are usually used in a combination with tenors add so much dimension and depth to the overall sound.
Great idea to rank the others, too. Suho is sensational, with a stable, strong vocal. And Xiumin always catches me by surprise when he comes in with this most angelic tone.
First love will be forever Chen. Ult love Kyungsoo. Those two make my heart going up and down like a roller-coaster!
Anyway, I have to say that I stan a group full of talent because all 9 of them are really great!

I just want to clarify that Chen spoke in a program (2016) and a magazine (I don't remember) that he damaged his vocal cords and couldn't sing for a week, because each high note tasted like blood in his mouth.
And he talked about how he was lenient in not taking care of his vocal chords, but how he couldn't take time off, because they had more than 10 concerts in 1 month.
For about four years he can be heard singing a slightly harsh high note.
but now he's fine and as a fan it was painful to hear that his precious voice was damaged by over exploitation

I am very sad when many RUclips channels compare EXO Vocal vs BTS Vocal, Baekhyun vs Jungkook Vocal, Chen vs Jungkook, D.O vs Jimin. I'M NOT EXO FAN but you can't compare Professors vs Elementary school kids. BTS may be more famous than EXO (now) but if we talk about vocals, EXO's vocal line is a different level from BTS.

@@ABIGAIListhis95 Good point, however, in my opinion, Chen has the most consistent range especially when singing the high notes live. Baekhyun does have the range however it is less consistent compared to Chen however his vocal color is brighter, heavier and stronger in my opinion.

Jongdae has been my most favorite male vocalist in kpop for almost 10 years now and he somehow still never fails to astound me. His range, his tone, his power. Undeniably the best among the best. Its just been heaven in the ears, stanning exo. I love that these three are all such capable vocalist but also very different from each other and strengthens the group in some part where they lack a bit too.
All of their voices are beautiful and impressive, but Baekhyun will always be my favourite; his voice is so sweet and makes my heart calm. Also, his discography is my fave 🥰 EXO Kings of Kpop!
Exo is one of my favorite groups since they are exceptional, and being a vocal powerhouse only adds to their allure.
D.o my favourite all time kpop singer, never heard voice like him even kpop now at 5th gen..u can find other vocalist that can belt high notes like tomorrow but voice like d.o is one of a kind..his solo album really represents him,just use his voice no fancy production at all, really love him for that.. also d.o when singing live is 100% much much better from recording..

Same! He doesn’t need to belt high notes to catch your attention, his velvety smooth voice does it all. I noticed in his earlier days he was given high notes and killing lines most of the time like Baek and Jongdae but now seems like Kyungsoo prefers to sing in his most comfortable range and it’s still as good. So excited for DKS2!!
@@dkswifeyEm D.O have actually one of the Best belting voices in kpop, arguably tied with chen in that regard specially in the 3rd generation, belting and high pitch isnt the same, most kpop singers in the 4th gen and 5th gen arent belting anything they are Just doing a high pitch noise that sounds like screeching, D.O can actually belt is Just that kpop fans actually think that a strained high pitch note its vocal excellence, for example jongho of ateez by many kpop fans is considered "vocal excellence" because of his extreme pushing of mixed strained notes in the 5th octave thats what i mean, he is good dont get me wrong and have potential, he has a very powerful voice, but technically now hes not that good really and D.O is way better than him

@@judycasley108objectibly and skillwise exo is the 2nd Best trío of male vocalist Just behind Suju KRY in kpop history tho so yes exo is up there, theres no other male group with a trío in kpop as skilled technically like this 3 besides KRY not even shinee or tvxq but they are very near tho , you can look any vocal, objective análisis, chen is better than any vocalist in shinee or tvxq, and kyungsoo and baekhyun are very up there as well, Junsu and jonghyun are the Best vocalist of each of those groups,
kyungsoo has been one of my fave kpop vocalists EASILY~!! baekyhun is very verstitle, xiumin and chen have such great voices to be educated only on a tv xshow.

I love how the ranking constantly changes and one’s weak area is completed by others which makes them amazing as a group!
Even tho kyungsoo’s tone is my favorite, Baekhyun is one of my favorite vocalists in kpop because of the emotions (i’m not just talking about ballads, he can convey any emotions he wants) and he can easily adapt to any genre (and the way he still takes vocal lessons)

Did South koreans listened to songs like MAMA or what Is love?? In their literal debut? Literraly most exo songs have incredible vocal focus from the simple things like amazing belts to runs a lot of ad libs many ballads their B sides etc... In all their title tracks as well you can listen to vocals, except maybe in kokobop and power,

For “exols” fighting about spots, Chen always come first, his technique, vocal range and more is outstanding, meanwhile BaekHyun and KyungSoo are in the same level, also these categories: lower register, mixed register, vocal agility and upper register.
Chen is amazing but his vocal agility and upper register are in third and second place among the three, while his lower register and mixed register are first among the three.
BaekHyun has an amazing upper register and he ranks first in that but his mixed register, low register and vocal agility he ranks in second and third place among the three.
KyungSoo has a perfect vocal agility and he ranks first on that, while his upper register, mixed register and low register he ranks second and third among the three.
Chen among the three ranks first because what I wrote here.
BaekHyun and KyungSoo are tied in second and it basically depends on the vocal coach, preferences of fans, and the type of music.
All three of them are exceptional vocalists among all kpop, so please don’t start useless fights about who’s better and who deserves the spot more, also stop being childish and trying to humiliate any of the three because you think your fav is better than them.
