Those guys were taught to specialize in other performing arts since they were children. But they have Lovely voices & great potential to become main singers. Its just that they aren't given the Chance very often.
Guys just saying “each member is good in their own ways” doesn’t really make sense. There is always going to be the worst in the group. We just have to accept that. Sehun might be the worst at singing but that’s not what he’s in exo for. He’s an amazing dancer and a good rapper so he doesn’t need to sing.

I dont agree with you in this. He can sing but not like main vocals of the group. Saying the worst in the group is not good. I like it when he sings. I love his low vocals and that is his strength as a singer.
Kris T. Look, I am a singer myself and Sehun’s voice isn’t technically profound, just as to how the gentleman in the video explained. His range can reach quite low and it does have some good moments. However, he cannot be considered as a “vocalist” just yet. There’s always got to be someone who’s the worst at something. For dancing and rapping, Sehun is FAR from the bottom. But as he is the only person in EXO who wasn’t trained vocally, he is 9th in the ranking. I don’t have anything against Sehun. All I am saying is Sehun has not been trained to sing AT ALL. Which is why he lacks proficiency.

Suho needs more appreciation for his amazing vocals, especially now since dropping his solo album he has shown even more skills :') and ik he could EASILY be the main vocal for a group!!
And more if you compare what he is capable of doing he goes from the sweet Made in You with that soft voice that seems butter and then you listen to the rock star Suho in Self Portrait who is more intense and form suddenly you see him transform into a monster of the theater with open your eyes and he is totally another and always maintaining an impresive quality and technique, I think it is sad that we had to wait so long to appreciate the piece of artist that is why EXO had not viven him the opportunity to show a little more

In fact some people dont even know D.O is a main vocalist and only consider his acting side. lastly this is my opinion, EXO's main vocalists are good to the point no matter how much theyre praised it wont be considered overrated. But maybe you have experience in vocals and I dont, I might be wrong.
@@superj4311 EXO vocal line is not overrated. I get that they are always called vocal king or the best vocalists in kpop that may go too far that draw hate to them and make them look 'overrated'. Their range (ChenBaek) is exceptional, definitely wider than any ordinary singers without much strain. They can belt but also sing really well in lower register. They are trained to become better but apparently they are natural singers as they were trainees for 11 months only. And D.O. hasn't incredible range but he got the agility to do many complex runs. His tonality is the best and exude R&B vibe which you can't train to have that naturally. And if you listen to their solo work, all of them have completely different styles. That's the diversity of the main vocal line to sing different genres of the music. Talking about lead vocal and even Chanyeol (the main rapper), all have some range and unique tone and can harmonize so well. That's why you can always hear harmony in their songs but not singing one by one. Their vocal line is really exceptional.

My bias is D.O, but i do know he is the 3rd in term of technical vocal. And i agree with you, Chen is 1st and Baekhyun is 2nd. Chen is like he is born to sing, so effortless and stable than the rest of the members. Baekhyun slightly more stable than D.O when singing live. Yes, D.O is won by his color tone, R&B, and soulful voice, and maybe that's the reason he has less wider range than the 2, because he focuses on R&B singing style? I don't know. Anyway, thats also the reason i fall for him and i'm quite proud i'm not that biased toward my bias. And over all i agree with your rank.

If we talk about tone, D.O won 1st place, but for technic, Chen is 1st when D.O and Baekhyun are still debatable and can change easily depends on their vocal training. For now D.O is still focus on acting so logically Baekhyun has more time to train his vocal than D.O. SM also gave Baekhyun a solo debut so he has a chance and must has been train his vocal technic more. that's why for me i placed him on #3 for now. But then i respect your opinion. I think because of the standards set by this different vocal sites. I would definitely example BTS for example. In this list, V is ranked as 3rd while JK is ranked 1st, but in that website, V is ranked 1st while JK is ranked 2nd because of that slightly better breath support that V has which is the main basis of that website, while in this YT site, it's how more advantages that JK has between his members. Personally, I would also rank JK higher than V because he doesn't have much bad habits as much as V and he doesn't strain that much compared to V where he sing outside of his range most of the time. If you are going to put this on D.O and Baek's situation, we all know in that website they kinda rank someone with a better Mixed Register than others and just like D.O and Baek. D.O has a slightly better MV than Baek (I mean, that G4 to Bb4 of D.O), but Baek has a better HV and LR than D.O. So yeah, their ranking is debatable.
Alexandra Anceno D.O. has a better sense of pitch than Baekhyun. Even until today he sometimes goes off pitch in UN village But he has a better lower register ( bridge superm super car)
i agree with the ranking. It irks me when people argue that Chen is only great because of his high notes. They bring him down because "he doesn't have emotion when he sings." And I'm like, "are you people heartless? when did you hear his voice without emotions?" like just because he doesn't look like he's breaking outside (face or gestures) , that doesn't mean he isn't conveying emotions."

If Chen sings without emotion so how then are d others. My fave K album is Chen's Dear My Dear. His voice there is sooo dreamy. Its like he's just playing there with his vocal.

I agree with this !! Especially the part where you said Suho and Xiumin can easily be a main vocal if they weren’t in EXO. They both have the qualities of being amazing kpop main vocals, and also have potential to be on the same level as the top 3 above as well with more training and more well proper techniques for them to obtain. Overall for the video though, I absolutely agree with the ranking you have placed for them
Xiumin doesn't just have the most well rounded voice, he's very well rounded overall. Great singer? Check. Great dancer? Check. Great rapper? Check. Great actor? Check. Great model? Check. Great with variety? Check. The true ACE
I'd like to say to some people commenting here that when some specialist talk about EXO's vocals and somehow ranking them, it's not about which voice is prettier than other, but only about technique. We can have our favorite voices, even if that person has not the best technique. The fact that Chen is usually ranked in #1 is because he has the best technique overall, his skills are more improved. Nobody is ranking him as the best or prettiest voice ever, despite of he has a really pretty voice though. So that's ok that you love more another voice than the one who is in #1.

I might be in the minority but Chanyeol's voice is my favorite, and it was hearing him sing that made me an EXO-L. Something about his beautiful rich baritone sends me. But there isn't any bad singers in EXO. You're analysis was spot on and very knowledgable. Exo are vocal kings and the vocal line is unreal,. Chen definitely has insane technique, range, control and color, agree with him being number 1. Glad I found your video!
Really I agree with your whole ranking. Lay can do high notes whereas chanyeol cant as well but I still think chanyeol's technique and range is gorgeous. Not only that but people shouldn't get mad because sehun is last. His role is simply not a vocal and he was not trained that way. He was trained as a dancer first, and a rapper next, which is showcased beautifully and amazingly in later albums rather than earlier. He simply is not a vocal which people just need to accept. I agree with your top 3 ranking as well. My personal favorite vocal is suho which is underrated opinion but I love the sweetness. But top 3 deserves to be in that order. chen is a god. Also, xiumin is criminally underrated. I felt like because his lines can be very lightly sang, people dont acknowledge the full potential.

Baekhyun is my bais, has always been since EXO debuted, but Chen is just on another level. He is not only the best vocalist in EXO, he is the best vocalist in the 3rd generation and one of the best in Kpop all around (he is right up there with 2nd gen vocalists like Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Sandeul, Changmin and so on). He has both the low and high registers and has a wide range. EXO's vocal line as a whole is truly mind blowing. I can't wait until they are finally all done with the military service so we can hear D.O., Baek and Chen sing together again.
imo, kyungsoo has generally the most gp-friendly voice that's comfortable to listen to (if that makes sense?), baekhyun is incredibly versatile and can fit any style and concept, and chen has one of the most powerful vocals. they, including the rest of exo, are truly so talented.
This ranking is great, finally someone who is objective. What kind of annoys me though (not related to the video) is people bringing up this out-dated vocal chart by a kpop vocal analyzing site. The creator of the chart literally removed the cahrt from their site as it doesn't reflect on recent changes and improvements of some singers etc. So this chart really isn't a valid argument to use when trying to say your bias is a better singer. Sorry for the rant, but I saw a lot of these comments and they were just really annoying.
dap-steenbergen do you think the kpop idols have suddenly moved up to another category’? That’s just not true , maybe a couples places most , the chart was kept up till 2017 which means the people were still in their category in 2017, and the vocal profession who made it said this, the reason it was taken down was because people were bringing in into fan wars . Now new idols will need to added , but the first category is still accurate . And no one is above the first line plus Chen’s line , apart from the idols already there. Idols have improved even baekhyun has improved but not that much that any of them have suddenly moved onto another a whole another category. In fact some of the idols on that chart have regressed a bit . So yes new idols do need to be added by no idol has shown techniques as well as the first line yet so that is still in place and accurate .
You can comment (ask in the comment section) in KpopVocalAnalysis web for like an improvement of a singer(or something about the singer's vocal), give them some of the singer recent performance, and wait for them to answer [not guarantee to get fast answer]. They have so many point to prove whose the better singer/vocalist... *FYI KpopVocalAnalysis will update if the singer show an obvious improvement...
DO may only rank 3rd here but for me,he has like one of the best voice tones.Every word he sings,it sounds so soulful.I really love it.I actually became an Exo-L when I heard him sing.
@@wenttoofardeep7941 no I'm not about that shared spot life. That would make it too easy. And people keep saying "supported range" and I don't personally put to much into that term really. Baekhyun can sing all of D.O's notes and then more, which is a reason I put him higher. They're both very good in that mid-high 4th octave place.
His ranking is exactly the same as mine. We still have to wait for DO to come out of his enlistment to see how he will improve. But let us not forget the fact that Baekhyun is still in d process of improving his craft coz he is still having vocal lessons specially now that he'll be releasing his 2nd album. It will really be based on who works the hardest on improving his craft.
EXO has one of the best line up of vocalist among male idols. The vocalists can hold their own spot. D.O., Baekhyun and Chen alone can hold their places among all the vocalists in Korea.
4minute60 He said himself in this video that the top 3 can be interchangeable depending on what each persons personal opinion is. It’s not hard to make the argument that Kyungsoo should actually be second place or Baekhyun should be first, because there’s no absolute hard line saying this member is more talented than the other. It all comes down to the individual judging, and it’s not a competition anyways, they’re all incredible

Honestly EXO is the one group I could never get tired of listening to their live performance. In fact every time I get on spotify I tend to listen to the live performances they have on their instead of studio recorded songs. Absolutely beautiful 🤩
Chen rock song "Up rising" and his song with best low register at "Rainfall" (Chief of staff ost) are make me mind blowing, and make me love his voice more and more... also his song 'My Dear' is my fav song from all of his solo album, that's so dreamy and touching. How can he singing a beautiful song like that.:') and i'm agree for Baekhyun at the #2 spot cause he improve a lot and very versitile voice (he still get a vocal lesson too until now), and for first i think he might be debuts with a ballads song, but he's doing RnB-soul/pop. While I agree that Chen is #1, I can't help but fall in love with Kyungsoo's voice. His voice is just unreal. The soulish/rnb sound is fucking amazing.
I realized Suho has made significant progress after his musical. I mean maybe he is always good but after his musical, I feel he exudes more charisma and confident with his vocal on stage. I love it.
It'd be interesting to see you rank main vocalists across k-pop. For instance, like you said, Chen is probably the best male vocalist in k-pop, but then who would be number 2? Personally, I feel like Kihyun of MonstaX could take the number 2 spot (although I guess I'm limiting my selection to currently active groups...BtoB has some awesome vocalists, but they're currently enlisted)
I think Chen takes the number 2 spot. Kyuhyun from super junior deserves the 1st spot cuz he is the best idol vocalist I've seen beating people like Naul and he is almost as good as park hyo shin.

I really agree with your ranking here. I love Suho's vocals the most because in my opinion, he has the most beautiful voice in kpop. He can sing with a really powerful voice, but can also sing in a softer, more emotional tone. You can easily spot him in background vocals in many exo songs too. and lately he mostly got lines in the bridge part of exo songs. (His falsettos are most beautiful!) But of course the 3 main vocalists has more powerful vocals than he does and i really love that. Also, my favourite songs from his solo album are starry night and self portrait!
its still crazy that almost every extremely high note is chen and these notes are AFTER 2|3 of the songs, every damn time... for 8 years already BTW Suhos improvement from 2016 to 2020 is crazy he's now part of one of the best vocalists in kpop DEFINITELY
D.o is my favourite too. I fell in love with him because of his voice and i still get goosebumps when i listen to his voice. He have deep voice so maybe that is why i like his voice. I like V’s voice as well because it’s deep and unique.
Oh, thank you for a great video! As Jongdae's fan i can tell that I don't really like his high notes. Simply because many people associate him only with them so when someone puts him in the first place many get mad. But as you said his voice is just so big. He's vocal range and technique are great. And the most powerful thing about his voice is the emotion he's putting in it, he can just hum and it'll sound beautiful. He has really unique voice tone, that suits ballads the most. I think in some way his and Suho's voices sound similar, but Suho's voice has that unique ringing sound in it. Jongdae's voice is clear, and it makes it easy to listen to him for hours and not to get tired. His short vocal training lasts for 2 hours, long one for 5 hours, and sometimes even 8 hours during concerts when his voice gets damaged. Also yeees! Kyungsoo's voice is to die for, and thank you for appreciating Chanyeol's technique. He really tries his best, and now is training with Jongdae's and Baekhyun's vocal coach, and the progress is obvious. Now he has good control, and his deep voice is really beautiful

Well I dont have music knowledge but I agree with you , thanks for this video your explanations show how exo is vocal gods in kpop, they all have each roles but they all are good singers that can sing very emotionally .I love all their different unique voices,all together they blend so well. Ofcourse Chen is my favorite vocalist , we can see how much you adore him.Ofcourse all have different ranges,styles that makes them their unique place & all gave me goosebumps in some performances I love all of their voices .

I really love your video! I agree with every place. Eventhough Sehun has improved much, because of the two/three missing members he has to sing much more in a "supporting voice", he still is the weakest singer. Chanyeol has a very very decent singing voice, i really love his timbre and i can easily spot him doing background vocals in the recorded songs and i love his stage noises and screams, that he does during the live concerts. Xiumin and Suhi, as you said, would be main vocal line singers in ANY other group than EXO. In EXO they are "just" the supporters
I'm not being biased , but from what I've seen so far , EXO's vocal line is just legendary , I think that chen's voice is the best in the whole k_pop , and one of best 5 in the world

They really pick super powers that really fit with each vocal really well.... From Chanyeol up, I FEEL the power of their respective element in their voice: the deeper tone that generate warmth of Chanyeol's, the chilling soft and light tone of Xiumin, the relaxing refreshing smooth flowing voice of Suho, the forceful power house that shatter all of Dio, the high range and smooth yet strong shining voice of Baekhyun, and the high clear and powerful voice that shocks you from slumber of Chen.

Completely agree. While I enjoy listening to Do Kyung Soo's voice the most, there is no denying the brilliance of Chen and Baekhyun's range. The three of them have God tier vocals though... Love all three and really wouldn't complain if they got switched in a ranking, as you said.
Chen is very precise and powerful has the best lower register and range; Baekhyun is versatile, has best falsettos, emotion ; Kyungsoo has best agility and tone imo, Suho and Xiumin can easily pass as main vocalists
Great video! This is by far the most understandable, concise and unbiased vocal analysis I have seen on here. I am in love with both Baekhyun's and DO's voices, but yeah, I see why Chen is at number one. And thank you for appreciating Xiumin! I wish he got more lines in regular EXO songs, then maybe he wouldn't be so criminally underrated.

Kris T. Look, I am a singer myself and Sehun’s voice isn’t technically profound, just as to how the gentleman in the video explained. His range can reach quite low and it does have some good moments. However, he cannot be considered as a “vocalist” just yet. There’s always got to be someone who’s the worst at something. For dancing and rapping, Sehun is FAR from the bottom. That's the point!! Not the highnotes. I mean yeah they are impressive. But what really impressed me is Chen's technique and his vocal control and how stable his voice is. Really king of vocals!

@@superj4311 EXO vocal line is not overrated. I get that they are always called vocal king or the best vocalists in kpop that may go too far that draw hate to them and make them look 'overrated'. Their range (ChenBaek) is exceptional, definitely wider than any ordinary singers without much strain. They can belt but also sing really well in lower register. They are trained to become better but apparently they are natural singers as they were trainees for 11 months only. And D.O. hasn't incredible range but he got the agility to do many complex runs. His tonality is the best and exude R&B vibe which you can't train to have that naturally. And if you listen to their solo work, all of them have completely different styles. That's the diversity of the main vocal line to sing different genres of the music. Talking about lead vocal and even Chanyeol (the main rapper), all have some range and unique tone and can harmonize so well. That's why you can always hear harmony in their songs but not singing one by one. Their vocal line is really exceptional.

My bias is D.O, but i do know he is the 3rd in term of technical vocal. And i agree with you, Chen is 1st and Baekhyun is 2nd. Chen is like he is born to sing, so effortless and stable than the rest of the members. Baekhyun slightly more stable than D.O when singing live. Yes, D.O is won by his color tone, R&B, and soulful voice, and maybe that's the reason he has less wider range than the 2, because he focuses on R&B singing style? I don't know. Anyway, thats also the reason i fall for him and i'm quite proud i'm not that biased toward my bias. And over all i agree with your rank.

For now D.O is still focus on acting so logically Baekhyun has more time to train his vocal than D.O. I think because of the standards set by this different vocal sites. I would definitely example BTS for example. In this list, V is ranked as 3rd while JK is ranked 1st, but in that website, V is ranked 1st while JK is ranked 2nd because of that slightly better breath support that V has which is the main basis of that website, while in this YT site, it's how more advantages that JK has between his members. Personally, I would also rank JK higher than V because he doesn't have much bad habits as much as V and he doesn't strain that much compared to V where he sing outside of his range most of the time.
If you are going to put this on D.O and Baek's situation, we all know in that website they kinda rank someone with a better Mixed Register than others and just like D.O and Baek. D.O has a slightly better MV than Baek (I mean, that G4 to Bb4 of D.O), but Baek has a better HV and LR than D.O. So yeah, their ranking is debatable.

i agree with the ranking. It irks me when people argue that Chen is only great because of his high notes. They bring him down because "he doesn't have emotion when he sings." And I'm like, "are you people heartless? when did you hear his voice without emotions?" like just because he doesn't look like he's breaking outside (face or gestures) , that doesn't mean he isn't conveying emotions."

I'd like to say to some people commenting here that when some specialist talk about EXO's vocals and somehow ranking them, it's not about which voice is prettier than other, but only about technique. We can have our favorite voices, even if that person has not the best technique. The fact that Chen is usually ranked in #1 is because he has the best technique overall, his skills are more improved. Nobody is ranking him as the best or prettiest voice ever, despite of he has a really pretty voice though. So that's ok that you love more another voice than the one who is in #1.

Really I agree with your whole ranking. Lay can do high notes whereas chanyeol cant as well but I still think chanyeol's technique and range is gorgeous. Not only that but people shouldn't get mad because sehun is last. His role is simply not a vocal and he was not trained that way. He was trained as a dancer first, and a rapper next, which is showcased beautifully and amazingly in later albums rather than earlier. He simply is not a vocal which people just need to accept. I agree with your top 3 ranking as well. My personal favorite vocal is suho which is underrated opinion but I love the sweetness. But top 3 deserves to be in that order. chen is a god. Baekhyun is my bais, has always been since EXO debuted, but Chen is just on another level. He is not only the best vocalist in EXO, he is the best vocalist in the 3rd generation and one of the best in Kpop all around (he is right up there with 2nd gen vocalists like Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Sandeul, Changmin and so on). He has both the low and high registers and has a wide range. EXO's vocal line as a whole is truly mind blowing. I can't wait until they are finally all done with the military service so we can hear D.O., Baek and Chen sing together again.

imo, kyungsoo has generally the most gp-friendly voice that's comfortable to listen to (if that makes sense?), baekhyun is incredibly versatile and can fit any style and concept, and chen has one of the most powerful vocals. they, including the rest of exo, are truly so talented.
This ranking is great, finally someone who is objective.
What kind of annoys me though (not related to the video) is people bringing up this out-dated vocal chart by a kpop vocal analyzing site. The creator of the chart literally removed the cahrt from their site as it doesn't reflect on recent changes and improvements of some singers etc. So this chart really isn't a valid argument to use when trying to say your bias is a better singer.
Sorry for the rant, but I saw a lot of these comments and they were just really annoying.

That’s just not true , maybe a couples places most , the chart was kept up till 2017 which means the people were still in their category in 2017, and the vocal profession who made it said this, the reason it was taken down was because people were bringing in into fan wars . Now new idols will need to added , but the first category is still accurate . And no one is above the first line plus Chen’s line , apart from the idols already there. Idols have improved even baekhyun has improved but not that much that any of them have suddenly moved onto another a whole another category. In fact some of the idols on that chart have regressed a bit . So yes new idols do need to be added by no idol has shown techniques as well as the first line yet so that is still in place and accurate .

Baekhyun can sing all of D.O's notes and then more, which is a reason I put him higher. They're both very good in that mid-high 4th octave place.
His ranking is exactly the same as mine. We still have to wait for DO to come out of his enlistment to see how he will improve. But let us not forget the fact that Baekhyun is still in d process of improving his craft coz he is still having vocal lessons specially now that he'll be releasing his 2nd album. It will really be based on who works the hardest on improving his craft.
D.O Voice is one of my favourites in kpop. His voice is so smooth and nice. R&b king. Honestly he has my favourite parts in exo songs.

So i'm so excited the genre he pick for 2nd albums (since Chanyeol said Baekhyun is more love singing ballad for EXO song). For D.O, i'm always so hipnotized of his vocal tone and everybody knows he is a RnB King and King of Ad-libs/Run. And maybe Kyungsoo is not have a much time to have an vocal lesson like Baekhyun or the other members since he's are busy for actor schedule, so he can't improve his technique vocal. For uri leader Suho, he's so much much improve a lot for me, maybe cause he's musical career help him a lot for improve his vocal technique. I love how Suho can control his falsetto, and from all members i pick Suho when come to Falsetto. And Suho so mind blowing me cause of he pick a pop-rock genre for his debut albums. Where's the ideas come? 👌 and if i can pick who's best solo debut album from the 4 members of EXO, i will pick Suho albums for the best.
Xiumin is a trully underatted vocalist, but base at high note battle of exo-cbx, Xiumin can hit higher. *hhahaha. Xiumin, Lay and Kai is a sweetest voice in EXO for me. (and a fun fact three of them are a dance line), and i know Xiumin and Kai is more focus on rap when they rookies era (Kai and Xiumin always get a rap part at EXO-K and EXO-M). Lay maybe not have an much time to improve his vocal technique cause of his solo activity is really mind blowing, and if he do that, Bye World ! He will be a perfect human in this industry.
Chanyeol my bias ♡ he is too perfect for me, oh god ! I'm always cry of every song his sing even his rap song. For me he is good at fallsetto too. He has an vocal colors of a group band type cause of his deep/husky voice. *hhaha. Chanyeol gasp at 'Jekyll' makes me a live. *LOL*
And uri maknae Sehunnie, he's might not be good at singing like the other members, but he voice is like a complement in EXO when it comes to harmonization. I'm crying when i'm listening his voice at 'Wait'. :') and bless for all around the world of exol cause we can hear Sehun unique voice in EXO-SC. Sehun is practice singing too with Chanyeol. My boy is work so hard. 💖

While I agree that Chen is #1, I can't help but fall in love with Kyungsoo's voice. His voice is just unreal. The soulish/rnb sound is fucking amazing.
I realized Suho has made significant progress after his musical. I mean maybe he is always good but after his musical, I feel he exudes more charisma and confident with his vocal on stage. I love it.
It improved his technique and intonation, as musicals are just pure raw vocals
It'd be interesting to see you rank main vocalists across k-pop. For instance, like you said, Chen is probably the best male vocalist in k-pop, but then who would be number 2? Personally, I feel like Kihyun of MonstaX could take the number 2 spot (although I guess I'm limiting my selection to currently active groups...BtoB has some awesome vocalists, but they're currently enlisted)

I think Chen takes the number 2 spot. Kyuhyun from super junior deserves the 1st spot cuz he is the best idol vocalist I've seen beating people like Naul and he is almost as good as park hyo shin.

I really agree with your ranking here. I love Suho's vocals the most because in my opinion, he has the most beautiful voice in kpop. He can sing with a really powerful voice, but can also sing in a softer, more emotional tone. You can easily spot him in background vocals in many exo songs too. and lately he mostly got lines in the bridge part of exo songs. (His falsettos are most beautiful!) But of course the 3 main vocalists has more powerful vocals than he does and i really love that. Also, my favourite songs from his solo album are starry night and self portrait!

As Jongdae's fan i can tell that I don't really like his high notes. Simply because many people associate him only with them so when someone puts him in the first place many get mad. But as you said his voice is just so big. He's vocal range and technique are great. And the most powerful thing about his voice is the emotion he's putting in it, he can just hum and it'll sound beautiful. He has really unique voice tone, that suits ballads the most. I think in some way his and Suho's voices sound similar, but Suho's voice has that unique ringing sound in it.
Jongdae's voice is clear, and it makes it easy to listen to him for hours and not to get tired. His short vocal training lasts for 2 hours, long one for 5 hours, and sometimes even 8 hours during concerts when his voice gets damaged.
Also yeees! Kyungsoo's voice is to die for, and thank you for appreciating Chanyeol's technique. He really tries his best, and now is training with Jongdae's and Baekhyun's vocal coach, and the progress is obvious. Now he has good control, and his deep voice is really beautiful

I really love your video! I agree with every place. Eventhough Sehun has improved much, because of the two/three missing members he has to sing much more in a "supporting voice", he still is the weakest singer. Chanyeol has a very very decent singing voice, i really love his timbre and i can easily spot him doing background vocals in the recorded songs and i love his stage noises and screams, that he does during the live concerts. Xiumin and Suhi, as you said, would be main vocal line singers in ANY other group than EXO. In EXO they are "just" the supporters
I'm not being biased , but from what I've seen so far , EXO's vocal line is just legendary , I think that chen's voice is the best in the whole k_pop , and one of best 5 in the world

From Chanyeol up, I FEEL the power of their respective element in their voice: the deeper tone that generate warmth of Chanyeol's, the chilling soft and light tone of Xiumin, the relaxing refreshing smooth flowing voice of Suho, the forceful power house that shatter all of Dio, the high range and smooth yet strong shining voice of Baekhyun, and the high clear and powerful voice that shocks you from slumber of Chen.

Completely agree. While I enjoy listening to Do Kyung Soo's voice the most, there is no denying the brilliance of Chen and Baekhyun's range. The three of them have God tier vocals though... Love all three and really wouldn't complain if they got switched in a ranking, as you said.
Chen is very precise and powerful has the best lower register and range; Baekhyun is versatile, has best falsettos, emotion ; Kyungsoo has best agility and tone imo, Suho and Xiumin can easily pass as main vocalists
