Love love LOVE this song. Shane is so amazing. I had been waiting on hear to some music from his new name These Days but I gotta say it regret it. CYE is soooo awesome and I know it seems far fetched but hopefully one day he might come back. CLOSE YOUR EYES IS AMAZING.
I saw them at Bamboozle with the new frontman, and he is awesome, and he certainly fills Shane's shoes.

@FCIxxNoTtheSuN Yeah. They wrote it basically about how they were feeling while they were there. They we practicing in one of their friends attic and hated it.

@bluemanmac when i met them at rocketown in nashville during the scream the prayer tour, i talked to sonny and he said that he went to one of their shows before he was in the band and he hated the music. i don't remember how he said he got in the band. i wish i would have gotten a video of it. XP

Next, why would you know he didn't do some kind of clever meaningful wordplay? Could also be that the name wasn't available anymore, you know how it works when creating a loginname I presume.

And the internal turmoil is at a point that they probably will never be in the same band ever again. Shane has moved on and as have they.

hey i'm a newcomer to the this band. I first heard of them while seeing them live touring with other bands I had originally gone to see. I really like the frontman's stage presence, their live performance is excellent. Can some one recommend a good song that included shane so I can check out the difference to know what you all are talking about?

I didn't like Sam at first but he's grown on me lately. Check out Burdened by hope, Sleeping Giant, Skeletons and Looking back. All great songs with Sam. Also Shane is in a new band called these DAYS.

Man I wish I could ask Sam if the things and struggles written in the album ever got better. If so I could really use the advice. So close to giving up on my faith. Spent to many years of my life feeling the same way. I question everything I have ever learned about the the love of God.

+pat o'donnell Actually, as it pains me to say, I don't think they're working on anything at all for a while. Shane along with Alex announced back in June that they left the band for good, due to disputes between them and Brett. (the rhythm guitarist.) I hope they'll come back soon from this, but it seems for now, they're on a hiatus for who knows how long.
