You and me both dude. It was the first Christian band I ever had exposure to I was like 9 or 10 years old and I'm 20 now. Now I listen to a plethora of artists that have blessed me in more ways I can ever hope to imagine. This band changed my life.
"This fight was made for me" is tattooed on the inside of my left arm, taken from this song and a few others to remind me that no part of this is a surprise to God. "But it isn't mine to win" is tattooed on the inside of my right arm, reminding me that I'm not alone in the fight (also referencing the whole "ready the horse for battle" proverb, and my support network). Having Crohn's for 18 years, just uh...I have moments where I have to reaffirm my roots. This song is obviously one such booster, as I thought highly enough of it to ward it on my flesh.
I tried to take my life 3 times in the span of an hour a few years back. Its cliché to say that a song saved my life, but this song literally saveed my life.
The energy of Shane in this video is unmatched to this day. This is one of the very few artists you can literally SEE how they're feeling the song, how much heart is put into his performance. Very unique... Amazing song and artists.

Dude. I'm not one to usually say or even think that sort of cheesy shit, but I 100% agree. I've honestly listened to this song at least once a week since it came out and it still gives me goosebumps and gets me out of whatever rut I find myself in.
Accurate. Even when I listen to it now, it reminds me of the goosebumps I've gotten in the past listening to it while it's giving me new goosebumps now... if that makes sense. I've rocked this band for awhile so it a nostalgic song for me.

I first heard this song in prison, I was in the S.H.U. in Tehachapi, CA. we only had like five channels, one of them being JCTV, which played a half an hour of skate videos and like a half an hour of metal videos every night. This song and one other song by haste the Day to help me change. I've been out since 2013, and I can't tell you how much this music helped..
It's not only heart he puts into this song, he uses all of his energy putting everything into the voice you see in this video making it quite obvious that this song touches him just as it touches us. This song leaves you with the feeling you get at the end of a good movie, you just wish didn't have to end, but yet you are still satisfied at the same time.

I was gifted an Alternative Press magazine when I was 14-15 and this album was featured in a 10 up and coming bands section. I listened to this album everyday for like 3 months. A couple years later I went to look them up and had forgotten their name. I 3:25 only had a faint recollection of of the album art. I gave up on trying to find them about a year ago after going as far as looking up the Alternative Press archives and trying to find the issue I was given with no luck. Today, out of sheer coincidence, I was invited to BlueRidge Rockfest and looked up last years lineup only to see this familiar name, looked it up, and I can’t describe the pure excitement I got realizing I’d found this band! At 26 after 11-12 years I’m finally able to listen to this album again and it’s so sick. Rad. Thanks for the good memories

I am a sinner but find strength in God, and also, I can feel beaten down often from hearing horrible things people say about me and others for following Jesus. Not saying that was what was intended in the lyrics but what I found for me as a meaning.

I think, that I am a believer of Christ myself. And I can't listen to ANYTHING on the radio that sounds actually good, I like Christian music but it doesn't appeal to me like this kind of music does. I think, that I am a believer of Christ myself. And I can't listen to ANYTHING on the radio that sounds actually good, I like Christian music but it doesn't appeal to me like this kind of music does. These guys give me the hope, drive, and encouragement I need to move through my every day life. It's completely relevant. The lyrics mean so much. It speaks to me in a way no other kind of music can. So yes, the fact that these guys are strong in their faith means a lot.

Relatable. I've been an atheist for 4 years, but I used to be religious. My transition out of religion was traumatic. This song reminds me of my past struggle.

This band is from my hometown! I have loved these guys for so long! It's so weird, I still remember going to shows when they only had 5 people in the audience. It's awesome to see how far they have come.
