Shane you left a hole in our hearts. Of course I understand your reasons and I hope that the other fans do so too, but it's totally not the same thing anymore. It couldn't be worse than this: IMHO, the new singer doesn't stand up to you and your vocal skills at all. Your way of singing was like a gift from heaven, you sang with your heart and soul and no one's gonna be like you, ever. I wish I could hear more from you, even if you're not gonna go in tour anymore.
The whole album sounded so good. i just wish Shane come back one day so they can make another album together. Big respect for him even tho he left, but man please, for the sake of the old fans !
I wish Close Your Eyes could at least have one final show with the original lineup. Never got to experience a concert with Shane Raymond. I need more original Close Your Eyes in my life. :(
West Texas pop punk/hardcore/metal has and will always have some great talent in the local scene. Go out and support local shows and you would be surprised how good some of the ‘unknown’ bands are, especially live.

this band is the epitome of underrated, it's almost criminal that they never got big with the amount of quality they released.
