SAME!! I love watching other artists breakdown and study more experienced artist’s work! It adds such a new perspective 😤 I have done other artist style studies before but this one I was like you know what lemme just share what I learned cause we as artists learn and improve faster as a community 💪💖
Thank you!! Rinotuna is one of my favorite artists as well, and I absolutely adore how he designs his characters, which is part of the reason as to why I made this video, so that I can learn how to design better! 😤💖
I dont understand why so much hype for this Rinotuna guy but if that gives me a art study video from one of my favorites content creators I'm okay with :3 Plus I hate to make this question, you probably already said somewhere, but which ipad do you use?
I think the reason why Rinotuna is so hyped is because his style is easily recognizable and his character designs are really creative and fun 🤔 but at the end of the day you like the art you like and lots of people like Rinotuna's art (myself included lol) 🤗 Im glad you enjoyed the art study tho! 💖 And my iPad is the iPad Pro 11" 😚
Amazing video, do u have any discord art ? Also I been wondering what software utilize, since I’m having clases on coloso, most of the instructors there have photoshop and I’m using procreate, should I switch to adobe fresco ? Is adobe fresco similar to photoshop?
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed the video! I am actually making a discord server public this weekend, its gonna be pretty chill tho, so don't expect anything crazy 😂 but I will make a community post with an invite! 😉 I use Adobe Fresco and Photoshop, but since you are already using Procreate, I recommend just sticking with that cause it has most of the basic digital drawing features and its pretty darn robust for a drawing app, imo its still the best drawing app for most iPad users. Adobe Fresco is somewhat similar to Photoshop, but with a focus on drawing and painting and with waaaaaay less editing capabilities than Photoshop
@@stallout_art good night and thanks for answering me, I will be waiting for that discord !. Also I would like to stay in procreate although i am worried that my instructors use some things that are available in photoshop/fresh adobe since it is similar in drawing, and i can't have a good class experience or do some exercises like they teach to do . Like the Erak Note class. Have you seen his class?
@@elfua7347 Ah yeah I see what you mean, I just looked at the class and it does seem that he uses editing in photoshop that you won’t be able to do in procreate 🤔 but I think the fundamentals of the course can still be learned while using procreate, you just might have to finesse a little bit to get a similar effect.
You have a good breakdown of the Rhinotune technique . And you got very close to his method. However, I think your drawing lacks a little grotesque or exaggeration. I think Rinotuna would draw a girl a little younger, thinner, perhaps a teenager with long and thin legs, thus imitating the thin stem of a flower, and perhaps add some grotesque proportions to the subjects. He likes to do that, for example, remember the boy's big toothbrush.
I completely agree with you, Rinotuna does such an amazing job at exaggerating his character designs. It was one of the things I struggled most with second to the face, but I think where I went wrong with the body proportions was I went more realistic and I tend to lean more towards fit body types so that was definitely my downfall 😅
I really love creators sharing their process of breaking down and applying other artists styles in their work!

The character design turned out awesome! Always nice to find out about other peoples technique's and mixing them with your own. Great video Janelle!
