Jamie Lange , Yes you can change the propeller pitch on this aircraft (c-182). It has a constant speed prop (also called variable pitch prop).

Indeed, it is variable pitch, but i didn't recorded the check on run-up. But you can see that the rpm is reduced to 23 mp and 2400 rpm for climb setting, and you want full rpm for t/o and landing
