Great idea but, purging the oxygen from the bottle doesn’t purge from the tube. I suggest purging by pressing the grey ball lock valve to let the oxygen out all the way trough the tube as well:-) problem would have to turn the bottle sideways too, great idea though, I will implement the same system. Thankyou
you can also skip the tube in your little bottle and hold the bottle upside down. Also, you don't need to purge with co2 as connecting to the other keg will stabilize the pressure and holding it higher than the keg, gravity will move it. I squeeze the bottle to make it go faster. This is what works for me, at least.
Hi, that idea looks great. I’m going to try it with my current brew. Can you tell me if you add the gelatine through the gas in or beer out port? Also, it sounded like a ‘yes’ but do you add the gelatine before the beer or after? Thanks, Mick.
Great video as always, very informative! Another way to purge the bottle is to sqeeze the bottle the so the liquid is close to the top and then allow the CO2 to re-expand the bottle. Do you think your method is better than not having the tube present and holding the bottle upside-down?
Thank you so much I was scouring ideas how to do an oxygen free gelatin edition. This video was great
Hi Nick, I very glad you find it helpfull. Means a lot 😊

Yes, thanks, I do that, but just forgot to show in the video 😂🙈
Just done this, works well. Can see this as a great way of adding hop tea to the keg. Thank you.
You're welcome! Yes it's a great way to add many things to the keg without introducing oxygent :)

Yes, you can also just hold it upside down 😊
bloody brilliant
Thanks 😃🍻

Hi, I add it through the gas and then I usually shoot some gas through the liquid side to mix it up 😊 I add it to the beer 😊
Brilliant. Thank you for the response. Looking forward to trying it out. Cheers.
Do you think adding it first and then adding the beer would also be a good way to mix it in? Any problems with doing it that way do you think?
No, if you do it right away it shouldn’t be a problem 😊
This is great.
Thanks 😊

I like my method, but I know brewers who do your method as well. I'll stick to mine, because I think it's easier to purge completely :)
