Each time I turn Linux in virtual box and run any updates or upgrades and turn off Linux, the next time I turn it on all the updates are gone, been happening for sometime now and I have spent alot of data updating each time please help me with a permanent fix

Installer takes about 20mins (depends on your pc hardware and allocated resources though)
