I’d like to add regular exercise. I’m 50 and had been not so active for a while but in the past year I’ve been cycling or running daily. I’ve also decided that alcohol has no benefit to my health or finances and rid myself of that habit. Funny how I get people noticing that I look better now. I also feel better. One more addition is to have a life. So many guys around my age go to work and when they get home they crack open a brewski and hang out in front of the television or scroll endlessly. Not much engagement in the outside world or with personal interests. That in and of itself is a real game changer.
None of that is related to grooming. It's just a healthy lifestyle that everybody should practice, not just to not make them look older but for their own sake.

Nightly Retin-a for smooth complexion and keeping acne at bay. And if you're not doing regular heavy weight training and regular meditation, you're missing out on a lot of benefits from both.
I'll add more. Alcohol! Yep, that alcohol will make you look decades older than your actual age. I don't drink; I'm allergic to alcohol, and it tastes gross! And the Dad Bod. Sorry, the Dad Bod is not a trend or a style choice; it's just being lazy and not caring about your health. Teeth - I brush at least twice a day, sometimes 3 times a day. My mouth feels better when I keep my teeth clean. I also use a waterpik. Fragrance - I found a cologne that I have had compliments on. Currently, I am wearing Mont Blanc Explorer. My hair stylist is always complimenting me on my cologne. She says, "You really smell good!".

Good evening, Miss Courtney! I would love to see you go down the "Fitness and Health" path. So, one vote for "yes". And, to the mature gentlemen in the audience, if I may add a comment (or two). I am 57 and half way to 58. I started using a skin care program after I turned 50. I really wish that I would have started before that....but I did not. All I can say there is - if you have not already started thinking about this, please do. And, take action on these thoughts. I started with "Alpha" (aka, Tiege Hanley, aka Aaron). It was so simple and so easy. Practically idiot-proof. For full transparency, I no longer use that product, but that is because it really burned my eyes. That is very likely a "me-problem". The results - while I was using it - were nothing short of miraculous. So, if you are suffering from "analysis to paralysis" (due to the 1,000 of choices out there) then take advantage of the discount that this wonderful woman is making available. I say with confidence - and personal experience with this product - that you will not regret this decision. Look forward to your future videos, Miss Courtney. You are a treasure-trove of information. Keep on, keeping on!

Best way to look after your skin (other than not frying it in the hot sun like a strip of bacon ) is to have regular long hot bathes with epsom salts. This will properly hydrate your skin in amazing ways helping you to look young and healthy. Remember get your head down in the water so to flood your ears with hot water. This solve any ear wax issues. Thanks

This! I suffered from balding from 18-25. It created endless anxiety and sadness. And then one day I finally shaved it and immediately was released from all of this. Balding is significantly worse than being bald!
I was always clean, even as a kid. My father took the time to show me how to clip my finger nails, my toe nails, brush my teeth 🪥 properly and to floss. I learned how to do it all over again, to include clipping my nose and ear hair at Officer Candidates School in the Marines. I have also been moisturizing, with facial lotion that has an SPF 25, for years now. Staying fit, being well read, and extremely confident, supremely humble, and staying on top of personal hygiene, has served me well. I’m am waving 👋 off the ladies left and right. These are are valid points, but one thing is also true: regular exercise will do wonders to anyone’s skin and overall well-being. This will add youth to your life.
Not true. As a dentist I've never seen problems associated with whitening. Whitening toothpaste is especially weak. Professional whitening done properly can have a remarkable effect on your appearance.
Hey Courtney I'm surprised you didn't mention not working out or being (very) overweight on this list. I know you're usually big on us working out (and yourself too).
We should all be doing this but drinking plenty of water (not coffee, not soda, not alcohol) is also an important practice for overall health but water also keeps our skin looking refreshed. Think about it; we use water to clean our skin when we shower so why would not continue to put water in our body to clean in internally as well?

Something I noticed that has transformed my chances with women is just asking them multiple questions at a time. They will see that as effort and pursuing you. Also me getting rid of selfies and having my family or friends take pictures of me on dating apps works a lot better than weird selfie angles. Also let them know you are emotional mature to go get help in therapy and you don't get too down on yourself. Double, triple text if she enjoys you talking to her. I juts try to use a 3mm on my beard trimmer and shave the neck so I have no neck beard.
Limit your sun ☀️ exposure! Getting a dark tan will age you like a prune! If you drink 🍹 ( especially hard alcohol) QUIT NOW! Don’t eat healthy, Start! Don’t workout 🏋️♀️? Start! 1. Lip balms are actually drying to your lips if they're petroleum based. Dry lips means you're dehydrated, just get a high quality water bottle & keep water with you at all times, make it a habit to drink regularly. If you really need a boost just rub a dab of coconut oil on, let it sit for 20s then wipe off the excess. 2. Sunscreens have a lot of poorly studied chemicals in them with extremely long names & not much track record of human use. Most likely a lot of them have subtle side effects, much like the endocrine disrupting chemicals that used to be in them. I wouldn't go slathering on the sunscreen everyday. Just wear clothing that protects from the sun when it's sunny & save the sunscreen for areas you can't adequately protect with typical clothing styles or a hat. Backs of hands/arms, back of neck, nose/lower face, etc. Same is true of many lotions, be careful what you're spreading over the largest organ on your body, your skin. Most of this stuff is of questionable value compared to just staying hydrated & protecting from the sun with clothing. 3. A thicker/larger, but well shaped beard actually makes you look better as you age. Over 50 it does a lot to hide many signs of aging. This is one of the main advantages older man have vs older women when it comes to looking good. I say let some grey go into your beard over 50, but if it goes all grey, consider partially dying it & leaving some grey as an accent. 4. Avoid spraying "fragrance" directly on your skin. Put it on your clothing instead. Reduces skin absorption considerably. 5. Sleep. High quality sleep is actually the #1 factor for the scientifically measurable aging markers. 6. Diet. A lot people get bloated & stretched out from poor diet as they age. Keep your diet under control, keep the inflammatory foods down & lean toward anti-inflammatory foods more as you age like fish & vegetables. Cut down on carbs & saturated fats. This makes a huge difference in your appearance, esp when you cut back on carbs & excess salt, you will stop retaining loads of water & stop looking puffy. 7. Exercise/posture. How you sit, stand, & move communicates far more about your age than anything else (and controls how old you feel more than anything else). Doing posture training & exercising through a full range of motion will make you feel & act much younger than your age. This is one of the most neglected factors for people as they age. Even if they get exercise, they tend to settle into doing certain exercises certain ways through a limited range of motion instead of reducing volume/weight & using the full range of motion. This is really the most important thing, if you feel & move like you're 30 when you're 50, people really notice, even if they don't call it out. 8. Quit smoking & minimize drinking. One beer here there won't hurt much, but I suggest not buying any cheap alcohol anymore. If you can get a case of cheap or a six pack of higher end bottles, get the higher end bottles & space them out. Same goes for wine & liquor. Get the good stuff & drink less of it. Preferably make it a rare treat or quit entirely.
Yeah sunscreen is out for me. Your skin needs the vitamin D, and you have a greater chance of skin cancer from all of the chemicals you're slathering all over your body. Just be smart about how long you are in direct sunlight.
Been happily married forever. I worked with my hands. My wife said strong beat up hands show you’re a man and she feel in love with me for that. So not all women want a man with manicured hands
"Wearing too much fragrance". I was in line for lunch Friday, standing next to a woman I know, and said wow, that's great perfume you are wearing. She says, "I'm not wearing perfume". Dude behind her says, it's me. He was 5-6 ft. away. He hasn't seen this one. It was nice though..."Savage' ". Use half as much. I always have my hair stylist trim my Eyebrows when she cuts my hair. A few stragglers on my ears too. If you have showing nose hair or ear hair, it's fine. Just look for women with the same look. Same for dirty finger nails. Come on Guys, that's the easy stuff. Get it right, everyday, not just for a date. I fully agree, if you have facial hair, keep it well trimmed. Doesn't need to be short, but short is easier to keep well coifed.
Never heard of fragrance making you old. Many young women and men wear fragrance more than older individuals! I get compliments all the time wearing fragrance 2-3 spays max.

Speaking as someone who lost their hair in their late 20’s, if you’re going bald and not considering treatment, embrace it! You’re likely to look better with a shaved head than hanging on to the remains and hoping no one notices.

Thank you for the discount, too! What do you use a loofa for?
I was thinking about this, too. Right before watching this one originally, I saw a scene on TV where it looked like the guy had no body hair. Do Hollywood actors get waxed?
Would love to hear more about heat protectors (are those products?) and healthy fragrances and ANTI-AGING, yes!!! So cool that you are into that!
*It’s interesting how small grooming choices can have such a big impact on appearance.*
Or be like me and I don't GAF any more.
without a filter? my girl is the best thing I ever saw...if she's good? im good
Good evening, Miss Courtney!
Hey Courtney! You mentioned about some fragrances that could damage your healt...do you have any recomedations on other fragrance that I can look for that wont damage my health? Thanks for beign the big sister that we all need. 🥰
Thanks
TY Courtney. There are 3 things I will be adding.
Has anyone noticed how as women become more masculine they want men to look more feminine?
Oh boy, I'm nervous about this one. I hope I don't check 7 out of the 7 boxes. Hesitantly pushing play now...
You are an angel, thanks for making these informational videos.
Fast forward through the Tiege Hanley commercial
You mentioned driving gloves. Driving Gloves are a great and underappreciated accessory!
I agree!!!
Yikes. Men are so soft anymore. Just isn't funny anymore. Driving gloves? Really! 😂😂
@@dang75790 Drive an E-type Jaguar with a slick mahagony wheel, no power steering, and a non-synchro manual without gloves on and you'll see who is soft.
Hey, Courtney and everyone.
Courtney , appreciate you holding us fellas down.
Hi Coach..perfectly balanced advice as always. You’re the best. ❤
I appreciate your content. Keep it up😊
If you’re balding, shave your head. Experience speaking
This! I suffered from balding from 18-25. It created endless anxiety and sadness.
And then one day I finally shaved it and immediately was released from all of this.
Balding is significantly worse than being bald!
I keep it high and tight, but not going to shave it yet. I'd then appear sick.
@@dysfunctionalstevesame, been shaving my head since I was 25. Bald looks 100x better than balding.
@@evanjohnson8682 Gain weight.
True. I've been balding since I was 15. I look much better (and younger) with it shaved down. Plus it is easy to DIY and saves money.
Not bad for a 55 year old stud. Right? 😊
As a guy who decided at about 45yrs that western woman were a waste of space, I enjoy making myself look good to me
You are right on all the line!
Snow on the roof top, fire in the furnace
Perhaps ask your hubby to take us through his routine? It feels like it’s complicated and time consuming each morning/night but it’s probably not. We’ve no excuse if we can see the process for ourselves!
Can you imagine how long my day would take if I incorporated everything Courtney recommends into my "daily routine"? My boss: "Why are you late AGAIN?!" Me: "Well, Courtney Ryan said..."
Wake up earlier?
These are are valid points, but one thing is also true: regular exercise will do wonders to anyone’s skin and overall well-being. This will add youth to your life.
My dentist said use ‘regular’ toothpaste. Do not use whitening if you care about your teeth.
It destroys teeth. Plus, guys? Making your teeth really white? Is gay😂
Not true. As a dentist I've never seen problems associated with whitening. Whitening toothpaste is especially weak. Professional whitening done properly can have a remarkable effect on your appearance.
@@FrankKuntz-ow1ll 😂 good luck
Hey Courtney I'm surprised you didn't mention not working out or being (very) overweight on this list. I know you're usually big on us working out (and yourself too).
I'm 38 and people think I'm mid 20s. I eat healthy, and train regularly. Keeping the facial hair low is also a prime factor.
You sound like a homosexual 😂
@dang75790 So what if I am? You have a problem with that?
@@WeaponryFitness22 nope. 😂
@@WeaponryFitness22It’s disgusting.
We should all be doing this but drinking plenty of water (not coffee, not soda, not alcohol) is also an important practice for overall health but water also keeps our skin looking refreshed. Think about it; we use water to clean our skin when we shower so why would not continue to put water in our body to clean in internally as well?
00:38 Overgrown or unkempt facial hair and being too short.
01:07 Ignoring nail and hand care and being out of shape.
02:21 Not moisturizing or using sun protection and being broke.
04:24 Neglecting eyebrows, nose and ear hair and still being broke.
05:20 Using the wrong hair products or non at all and not being ambitious.
05:57 Ignoring dental care and being goofy.
07:32 Wearing too much fragrance and socks.
If I could turn back time…take care of your downstairs, fellas. Make sure the playground stays maintained.
I'd recommend against teeth whitening. One of the main reasons people notice dentures is because they look unnaturally white.
Just add all these to the list of 10,000 things women want….
Just have several 100 dollars bills in you're Wallet 😮
I knew this was a tiege commercial from the title
this format really suits me
Something I noticed that has transformed my chances with women is just asking them multiple questions at a time. I juts try to use a 3mm on my beard trimmer and shave the neck so I have no neck beard.
this video’s take really clicks with some of the things I've been reading in the book Magnetic Aura from Talesio
Writings from Ancient Stoics have a greater effect.
Omg hahah, so funny you're making a reference to the pinky episode
No comb over. Trim nose hair. Trim or wax ear hairs. Trim eyebrows. Whiten teeth. Use sunscreen. Those things don't cost a lot.
Why is “older” always a bad thing? Please use a different word some of us are in our late 30s or older. Maybe say “Outdated” or something like that.
Mature Aged
Limit your sun ☀️ exposure! Getting a dark tan will age you like a prune!
If you drink 🍹 ( especially hard alcohol) QUIT NOW! Don’t eat healthy, Start! Don’t workout 🏋️♀️? Start!
Have a lousy negative attitude? Change It!
As far as grooming, just take care of yourself and don’t wear outdated clothes.
Knew by the title of the video alone that the sponsor was going to be Tiege Hanley 😂
Products aren't the answer....... It's a great diet, drinking lots of water (only), and more than enough sleep which are really the key factors.
A elderly.man went to the gym, and asked the female trainer what is the best machine to make me attractive. She said the ATM.
Been happily married forever. I worked with my hands. My wife said strong beat up hands show you’re a man and she feel in love with me for that. So not all women want a man with manicured hands
I live in Scotland, sun isn’t a problem for me.
Good advice from miss Courtney.
Courtney, as a 70 year old man who has worked with high end digital color for 41 years, I have utilized everything on your list for decades. Bravo Courtney, you my dear are one Very Intelligent Woman. Take Care Courtney.
Speaking as someone who lost their hair in their late 20’s, if you’re going bald and not considering treatment, embrace it! You’re likely to look better with a shaved head than hanging on to the remains and hoping no one notices.
Courtney back guys ❤️
