I love both of these songs. Definitely two of my very favorites! Jim Mathoes is a musical genius! His compositions are unparalleled! No pun intended. I bought PARRELLS when it 1st came out and Perfect Symmetry. Fates Warning has always been in my top 3 favorite bands. I love the cool timing changes and Ray's voice is beautiful and so powerful! I learned that the Eleventh hour was actually talking from The Bible. Jesus used it in the parable of the wheat and the Sowers. KJV. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing this.
I forgot to mention that Fates Warning is coming to Pittsburgh on June 27th and this will be my 1st time seeing them. My 24 yr old Son and his 21 yr old girlfriend are coming with me. We gotta show the younger generation what real music is. Not the garbage of today, with auto -tune. My Son was brought up on this kind of music. He even went to see Queensryche with me in December. LONG LIVE FATES!

rra022001 Ray is one of my all time favorite singers, and I saw them on this tour, but as much as I would love for his voice to be at 90%, it’s not even close. He’s barely at 50%. BUT, he’s adjusted to his limited range and sings the songs differently now. Their new stuff reflects his new range and is still as awesome, but with the old stuff he just can’t hit anything approaching 90% anymore.

wow. He can still hold 90% of the vocal range. Thats freaking amazing. Even Bruce Dickinson has problems with some his older maiden songs.
