I had a chance to see that show in San Antonio, Tx (Ray Alder's hometown), but I was too busy popping pills and drinking. What an idiot I was. I felt stupid for days after that because FW was probably my favorite band at the time, and I love Savatage.

What I love about Fates is that they play at the most out of the way/obscure places which kinda makes it hard to see them. One tour they'll play in your area then the next few, far away. Makes you appreciate them when ya have the honor catching'em live! On a side note, even though you caught them on video, remember the days when the only light you saw was from lighters or the occasional camera flash that was snuck in? I think back then it was more appreciated and it was weeks after the high wore off. Shows just seem to have a different feeling nowadays. You can retake pictures and not worry if you got a thumb in it when developed! Anyway, thanks my man!

I saw FW with Savatage in 01, and it's really amazing how tight they are live. I'll never forget it.
