Wonderful! I grew up in Maribyrnong, I've swam in it, fished it, rowed on it and walked across and around it. I now live in Sydney but every time I get back, I know I'm home when I cross the Raleigh Road bridge.

So here's simply another reason why the mighty Maribyrnong River needs all the support it can get, no matter that it may have slightly fewer waterfront al fresco dining places. But the linear parks and pedestrian paths? Aren't they something? Thank you to all the councils through which the river winds and to Melbourne Water for their vision and resources to help maintain and enhance this great feature.
