The song is made specifically for the Game, There are 2 song made for the game under the Pseudonym Old Gods of Asgard one is this ballad a Rock Ballad the other is called Children of the Elder God in an awesome sequence the game a very 70s Rock song. This game is Twin Peaks meets Stephen King one of the best game in the last 10 years. action 3rd person thriller shooter.
the game is very immersive though. A very intriguing story line that keeps you hooked till the end. When you play, you realize how they have brought "darkness" to life! There is an ongoing discussion to re-master this game, just eagerly waiting for it. Most importantly, each chapter of the game gets introduced with Poets of the Fall song.
The lead singer of Poets of the Fall is good friends with Sam Lake which is how they started doing songs for Remedy games under the name Old Gods of Asgard. In the universe of Alan Wake the old gods of Asgard is a 70s rock band created by two brothers who renamed themselves Tor and Odin to fit the Viking aesthetic. I noticed some mentions of some of the other songs they did but I also want to bring up the fact they did another song for Control under the name old gods of Asgard. As for my opinion on Alan Wake it is an absolutely phenomenal game. I've been playing games for 22 my 24 years on this Earth and I still haven't played anything quite like it. The story is intriguing, the environment is incredible the mechanics are endlessly fascinating if you like a good story based video game I would absolutely recommend getting it
If ya haven't checked out or been requested I gotta say definitely check out their "Ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper", and "Beautiful Ones." Even Marco doing a little occupella "Wind that Shakes the Barley"
If you want to try the game, choose the remastered version that came out about a week ago. Story is incredibly immersive and wellwritten. Like a playable novel. Almost as if Stephen King wrote the script himself. Highly recommend it! No matter how you feel about action/thriller gameplay, the storytelling is definitely worth it.

Good one 🙂 They have 2 bit more famous/more known songs played on video games, I.e. "Late Goodbye" and "War". Both worth checking out 🤗
War sounds familiar. I believe I did that one, but it may have been one of my blocked videos. I'll check out Late Goodbye. Thank you.
@@the_eaglefan have fun 🙂
